India uses similar 70mm FZ90 rockets for Rudras and lch...and its laser guided version also available...India has mastered the EO systems by both private and public sector companies...just license produce these rockets combined with low cost EO systems India can have dedicated low cost multiple kinetic drone killers mounted on newly acquired Mahindra ASLV or similar vehicles for every company level...combined with upgraded shilkas and non kinetic antidrone systems...leaving qrsam and akash for larger air defence role engagement cruise missiles male class uav, figthers or helicopter

Shahed 136 isn't that cheap after all recently a classified documents of RUSSIA and Iran deal revealed that Russia negotiated the deal per drones cost of 300k usd for 2000 drones and around 200k for 6000 drones.... Russia finalized the deal for 6000 drones, TOT and software integration at a price of 1.75 billion.. So the drone isn't that cheap after all...they are paying them in Gold..
And recently photos emerged that Ukraine is downing shahed 136 with EW systems and they mostly use heavy machine guns on pickup truck to intercept these drones... The sheer sound and low speed make these drones vulnerable..

How could you characterize the cost of intercepting as a loss? If you don’t intercept if that Shahid hit a power station or hospital or a factory that produces weapons or an apartment complex that cost us significantly higher than the cost of the single missile so it’s still not a good argument.
Can vshorads b used in this manner or can they b modified for this type of use?

but in future Experts estimate the per-shot cost of the Iron Beam to be around $2,000 as compared to $100,000-$150,000 for the Iron Dome.....
One laser hit by Iron beam cost = $2,000
One rocket fire by Iron drom cost = $20,000 to $100,000 per missile I think 🤔 🤔🤔

@@DavidTurner-og7cv 5000 dollars is nothing in front of an economic giants like america and all but making a dew system will take thousand times more thus its better to create 10000 missiles while dew tech evolves also the iron beam is highly insufficient at long ranges and if drones would operate in swarm like 100 at a time a missile based system would be faster and more efficient to stop them

Some time usa like giants may feel some stress on their economy if they mismangae of money in War or may some spend excessive money in War

By the way, I said all this not for the big nation but thinking about some small and developing nation perspective .....

Iron Beam: It is still in the developing stages, so chill, and it has been created considering modern warfare threats like SWAN drones.
And even if you send 100 or 200 swan drones at a time on a system like S400, the chances of the system failure are also increases or even slight changes in the reaction time are caused or the radar is getting confused that type of things is happen .
So upto yet no system is perfect against swan dron
Currently, some nations are engaged in making systems against Swan drones but no one achive 100% effective ness againsts swan dron upto yet but in future it may possible lets hope for best .
