America's DIY Truck Rocket Launcher Kit! - VAMPIRE System
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 тра 2024
- The VAMPIRE system is a new American export that can turn any pick up truck into a mobile missile launcher in 2 hours. Designed to be a cheaper alternative to javelin and stinger missiles. Firing the "cheap" Hydra-70 rockets usually fired from attack helicopters like the Apache. As of 2022 America will export it to other countries as a form of military aid.

"Toyota Null. Now with a GAU-8. Because null is the number of atom's left of your enemies after."
Toyota was already a military vehicle supplier once. During the Korean War they were manufacturing vehicles for the US military because it was cheaper getting our trucks brand new from Japan than it was to ship them from America.

The other part of the "$2000 drone" is you can also equip them with a number of things and cause alot of damage, like C4.
Claymore drone lol
As someone who plays COD and Battlefield, that combo is near unstoppable and needs a counter aside from killing the operator and as we see in Ukraine, no one is going to stop them from buying civilian drones then put a homemade grenade on it as Russians soon f around and find out.
We will see the vampires at the white house because of drones carrying ied's and its cheaper then the other options on site
I swear they come up with the acronym first and then figure out how to make it work after that, no way this was a coincidence. Also this is badass, can't wait for the F150 version.

If they dont matt at demo ranch will throw it in the back of his "El Chromino" burnout elco
They are in Texas, and I think demo Matt still has an El Camino. So it’s only a matter of time.
Demo has 1 lol
That’s gonna be an awesome episode of the podcast
Don't let Matt over at Demo-ranch see this. That 5 ton he's got could carry a lot of these 😆
He's also got the El Chromino XD.

Or The Collector.
Thats why he said El Chromino matt has one
To be fair, he already have an technical he can mount it to 😉
Ok so I’m one of those people who if left alone will usually get myself into trouble. And so it was with pandemic when we were all told to hide from the sniffles, that I took an old clam shell luggage container (the kind that attaches to roof racks on vans and suvs) and decided to see if I could build a rack inside the clam shell to hold some medium sized model rockets. Well turns out that’s pretty easy, as is the motorized lid that raises, the motors that move the setup up and down left and right, and one cheap backup camera later and the whole deal can be controlled from inside a vehicle👍
I think this is perfect for “damn the cost” boar family wipeouts… Set the bait and let’s have us some fun…Do I have to get a special permit for this? And doing this while hanging out in the AC chilling to some tunes…. Love it… Just put a whole new meaning to “boys and their toys”!
As a crazy Texan, that is absolutely something I'd do if I could afford it. Hog would have no idea what hit it. Plus I've already heard of people paying to mow down wild hogs with some sort of helicopter mounted machine gun being a thing here so...yeah, only a matter of time.
In the words of the great Ann Richards: "Fuck them hogs"
Please tell me it’s an M134 oh dear lord please let be an M134
@@mbeacham1 I've been to Texas and seen adds for it on the road and I think at least one company does this but from my knowledge most of them are using m60s mainly because of the firearm owner's protection act, which bans full auto guns made after 1986, because apparently the M4 is less safe than the sten... a gun without a safety made so cheap that dropping it could cause the gun to go off... also they have a gun range there that does have an M134 minigun that you can shoot along with a ton of other guns including a dozen or so full autos
@@Kma99107 oh I think we got something similar down here in Florida. 😅 It's called Machine Gun America. It's down in Orlando.

As a Texan Tacoma owner my truck told me, "I would rather be a tank than a Tundra." Thank you Uncle Sam.
I'd like to see this kind of palletized system applied to the Switchblade 600 Anti-Vehicle Loitering Munitions. I'm sure you could fit at least 6-8 of the munitions on the back of a toyota pickup and have a tethered drone attached to the system for continous ISR capabilities at higher altitudes. Those Switchblade 600s have a non-loitering range of 50 miles at a supposed cost of $10K each, so the effective range and cost effectiveness would be dramatically increased. This same palletized system could be applied to semi-trucks as well. I'd call the system A.M.F. (Adios Mother Fu**ers).
Okay but can we fit it into an Astin-Martin's trunk? MI6 wants to know.
Two only. One behind each headlight.
They did put two 70mm rockets BEHIND a set of working headlights. I'm sure Q already has a "Trunk-Mounted Modular VLS" in inventory.

You can NEVER have too many "spicy bottle rockets" in your inventory.
Just go to the 19 round pod off the Apache.
@@windwalker5765 basically what teh Syrians are doing with their mi-24 pod?
@@Westbay_firephotography Except guided, so you can actually hit something with it. Then again, you're carrying around hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of missile again, which is what was trying to be avoided in the first place.
@@crowe6961 Not really though. We were trying to reduce EACH INDIVIDUAL Round's cost. So, 16 total (four 4-round launchers) 70mm Laser-Guided Hydra Rockets cost $352K. When compared to $117K for a SINGLE Hellfire Missile, this is a good deal.
The pres: Why the hell would you need a semiautomatic weapon?
Also the pres: Here, have a rocket launcher that you can mount on a truck!
Have to say this is prop the coolest thing I've see in a long time. Now we just need a remote control auto cannon like the apache has. I bet that would be like twisted metal.
The army has tested that gun on their new JLTV trucks, so it is doable. How well it works, I couldn't tell you though.
Giving Donut, Baddie and Eli a plethora of options with that one.
Can't wait for the next nose boop. Gotta get Cody on that one.
This is one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen i love that the answer too overly expensive javelins and stingers was to build a portable rocket system that can become a new upgrade package for the Toyota Hilux WarCrime edition lol. But on a serious note I think its gonna be really interesting to see this things effect in the field and see how the system evolves over time like possibly other types of munitions or the addition of other weapon systems maybe like something a little more tailored to drones that way you can save the rockets for juicier targets. Wonder how long it'll be before Brandon gets ahold of one?
Please tell me you're talking about Brandon Herrera and not the potato in chief! Guy can't even wipe his own a#&!

These things are practically custom-built for thunder runs. Put some of these and some mounted .50 cal heavy MGs and have them escorting a couple semis for reloads and take out everything that moves. Talk about recon by fire.
@@housellama Ironically, the idea behind the thunder run as the US army practices it is recon in force. Specifically finding out what the enemy will do if you throw a high speed armored assault column at them. If they got nothing, great! If they've got stuff, they're forced to use it and the tanks can skedaddle with few if any casualties.
We Texans can probably one up this, mount it in the back of a side by side UTV. You need to do a vid about the Vespa Scooter that had an anti-tank weapon mounted to it.

Right now they only have a laser guidance package. But I'm betting a heat seeker is next, for going after choppers. Also a GPS version (which will be cheaper) should be on the way. You have GPS to know where you are, use the periscope to get bearing and range to target, and generate coordinates for the rocket. As long as it's stationary, you can hit it.
prolly true
I'm betting on either heat seeking or SACLOS to dodge laser warning receivers.

I love El Caminos. Strapping one of this things on the back... Well, let's just say that the periscope wouldn't be the only thing extending.
Bro, I want that El Camino at the end sooo bad.
Both are useful systems in different situations.
The truck is cheaper per shot and has a higher ammo capacity, allowing for shooting at more vehicles rapidly . It is also mounted on a vehicle that lets them move rapidly to get in, fire and flee. These combine for effective hit and run attacks or rapid reinforcments.
The javlin however is a fire and forget system which allows the operator to relocate as soon as the shot is fired. It is also carried by infantry which are easier to hide and reposition than a pickup truck, making them more effictive on the line or in the maze of urban warfare.
Not going to lie, that El Camino looked badass!
Probably the nicest technical setup I’ve seen.
I love Toyota technicals but a vampire Ford Raptor would be hotwheels level badass.
I'm disappointed it's only a 4 round pod. They could've at least strap a 7 round pod onto the gimbal weapon station thing.

@@the_fat_electrician True, but hear me out. 7 shots means more fun between reloads.
