Lordaeron is up in Eastern Kingdoms. The kingdom that was called Azeroth in WC2 is the Kingdom of Stormwind. There was also Kingdom of Gilneas, Kingdom of Stromgarde and Kingdom of Alterac bordering Lordaeron.
I thought Azeroth was the entire continent, which they changed to The Eastern Kingdoms when they decided the whole world was to be called Azeroth. 4:40 original "random demon" looks way more scary than the remake almost-human-faced cow dude. The latter is more detailed for sure, just missing the point.
THe OG movie version is better in lmost all respects (in large part because of the voice acting and smoothness of actions outside of the game engine. However the fan RM includes far more actual characters and while the looks are worse and they lack voice acting They feel more in line with the further characterization both races and their leaders gained over the course of even just War3 let alone WoW. I will say the only scene that is overall improved is the fall of Lordaeron mostly because of how much better they portrayed Teranas/the generic human king.
The choreography of the original was better. Particularly the first and final scenes. Like in the last one, on original, the Orc ran and jumped at the knight to knock him off...Savage. On remake, Orc ran up, stopped, swung axe, and knight stopped and fell over.
I prefer the originals. The remakes are more reimagined.. I would have been fine with extra details in each shot, but the shots themselves are totally different, and less cinematic. I feel as if the concept of the cutscenes is to drive the story of the game, but also to illustrate the in game world better for our imaginations. These are in game graphics as well, whereas the cutscenes of old were properly animated, and done at a lower frame rate that had the 24fps filmic look, not soap opera smooth frame-rates that make things less dramatic. Finally, the music is mixed into the background, which gives the feeling you’re still playing the game.
The new ones are pretty bad in terms of animations, camera positions, sounds and order of actions. Attack on Stromgarde: why are they loading the cannons that weird? Why is the bell sounded AFTER everyone in the military was fully prepared? Orcs being Orcs: yep, we also light up pyres by just standing next to it holding a torch. War Turtles: its okayish. Tomb of Sargeras: the demon does not charge out of the tomb and there are no battle noises... The fall of Loraeron: goofy signal to fire the catapults. Why is the king commanding the guards when it's already too late? In the original he was frightened to death and didn't react, but this?
I prefer the originals to the in game remakes, mostly due to the voice lines being gone and Terenas looks like he's going to make a final noble stand as opposed to being absolutely terrified in the original. However the Demon and Turtle ones are really well done
Orcs got a lot of characterization on the remake, only fair humans get some too. Terenas going out swinging is much more in line with his character than pathetically wimping away
To each their own. I prefer the original cinematics. I respect the fans that put alot of work into making this, but the warcraft 3 reforged engine can not compete with real cinematics imo.

I prefer the remake. I met this universe first in Warcraft III. Warcraft II. was too cartoonish for me. So, this remake reached it's goal and told the story of Warcraft II to an other audience.
@@iusemyrealnamebefore Yeah. In Rise of alliance, it would be prologue which is Turalyon's nightmare, and this misson would be like the utter darkness in Warcraft, which endures with killing lots of orcs(and daemons in late wave) as possible until last one of human has fallen. No hero respawn. Which becomes the reason why Alliance has been assembled between human kingdoms. Turalyon realizes the need of alliance by this dream.
The cinematography of the old game was better. You can feel the dread, hopelessness, and fear in the humans. While the newer videos are too lighted, the humans look more like movie set props. The orcs look more like marauding monsters in the first game. And look too human in the new trailer. But it's just a preference.
I prefer the original game's cutscenes, even if they're a bit dated. A lot of the voice lines in the originals had a little bit more 'oomph' to 'em, and I really don't care for the World of Warcraft-compliant art style the modders went with.
The origonal was a CGI cutscene, in remake looks like they just repurposed models for clunky cinimatics. Cannon stuffers are long two handed things, not some kind of one handed thing. Everything is wow cartoonified.
okay for the opening how the hell is the original still better then the remake? I watched the remake on that first one and the orignal arrival of the horde fleet is better then the remake. Like how? The remake was goofy AF. the originals are better then all the remakes.
Let me get this straight: It‘s 2024 yet they can‘t do an animation where a soldier grabs a sword? But they could do thst for the original? Original looks so much better damn😂

Chronicles of the Second War is a masterpiece!
Sorry me to for the original, spirit is lost in production.
Wow!
There is a special dark atmosphere in the original ones, the mod did not save that. But still a very good job😘
I will say the new in game models look great, I don't like changing all the cutscenes from cutscenes to in game plays. It doesn't have the same charm.
They should've kept the narration
I just hope there will be a good wc3 remaster in a 10 years or later
i can buy it ?
Sooooo Beyond the Dark Portal when?
To each their own. I prefer the original cinematics. I respect the fans that put alot of work into making this, but the warcraft 3 reforged engine can not compete with real cinematics imo.
How to play remake Warcraft 2? It’s mod for Warcraft reforged?
Yes, you need Warcraft 3 Reforged first. Then you can download the mod for free here:

@@GameIntrosFinales thx
I prefer the remake. I met this universe first in Warcraft III. Warcraft II. was too cartoonish for me. So, this remake reached it's goal and told the story of Warcraft II to an other audience.
The first half the old one was better but the other half i liked the new ones more.
orignals have the sauce.. new ones are welcomed as a an game engine recreations
RIP King Terenas.
I had no idea original was so much better 😮
Is it a fandom right?
But Terenas did not fall against The orcs...
Orcs campaign are not canon in warcraft 2, well kinda
Ya, just noticed it was during the war of Gilneas and he was old af at the time anyways.
Turalyon realizes the need of alliance by this dream.
how to download game
I think the warcraft series cost money and are to be purchased online and it's a PC game
Kool vid
Thanks!
The cinematography of the old game was better. You can feel the dread, hopelessness, and fear in the humans. While the newer videos are too lighted, the humans look more like movie set props.
The orcs look more like marauding monsters in the first game. And look too human in the new trailer.
But it's just a preference.
The original’s graphics may be dated…
But at least I can take it seriously.
That is not Terenas...That is King Llane Wrynn
No, it was always terenas. Llane Wrynn die at the end of Warcraft 1
Сколько лорных лет прошло между 1-2 и 3 варкрафтом? Разве их амуниция не должна выглядеть по-другому?
What's wrong with them? Why cannoneres can't get just into the hole of gun? And other stuff.
I prefer the original game's cutscenes, even if they're a bit dated. A lot of the voice lines in the originals had a little bit more 'oomph' to 'em, and I really don't care for the World of Warcraft-compliant art style the modders went with.
This whole thing alone is already better than all of that fcuked up Reforged BS
Blizzard is the master of halfassedness
The origonal was a CGI cutscene, in remake looks like they just repurposed models for clunky cinimatics.
Cannon stuffers are long two handed things, not some kind of one handed thing.
Everything is wow cartoonified.
I vote for old version
okay for the opening how the hell is the original still better then the remake? I watched the remake on that first one and the orignal arrival of the horde fleet is better then the remake. Like how? The remake was goofy AF. the originals are better then all the remakes.
Original for cinemaphothtapher
i say ... that old cinematics are 10000% better
I would buy this!
Looks like demake not remake
i dont think you could have beat the turtle one
wait there is a Warcraft II remake?
Yes, make by fans in Warcraft reforged
Let me get this straight: It‘s 2024 yet they can‘t do an animation where a soldier grabs a sword? But they could do thst for the original? Original looks so much better damn😂
But the orcs diden't take Lordaeron.
There's Orc campaign in WC2 that's not canon and ended up by orcs winning and taking Lordaeron
if the orcs won Wc2, people will not be whining on how WOW turned out
But why make that? Like they should make an alternetive lore by having Arthas not cull Stratholme then else it's horde bias.@@MrSergore
It'd Lordaeron, where now the Undeads live, not Stormwind.
huh?@@acb1511
Ещё одна черепаха добралась до моря
El original porque la voz del narrador le da más vida
Dabu!ZugZug
А где синемаьтики Альянса?
Clearly prefer the old one. As well done the mod is, it is still ingame engine that holds it back from being an actual cinematic, so that is already a point to WC2. WC2 is also just the original and more nostalgic, so another point for them~
original are more consistant i think.
I hate the look of Wow Charecter rips into Warcraft 2 b/c the cinematics were so dark and the artwork was dark and grimm and now this is like kiddie shit absolutly hate it.
yay
the older ones are still far superior in execution, the wc3 models and effects are still terrible in animation. even if they are remastered. but the job is still better than what blizz did with the remaser of wc2
