0:38 The ‘Magnific Style Transfer’ is a very useful feature. I like that it’s true to the inputed reference image.
Although now that I look at some of the later examples, it seems to make the faces look ‘older’.

This is great, it seems like we would need a consistant charcater option in Magnific to make it usable for storyboards. Do you know if this is in the works?
Unfortunately there isn't a consistency pattern in Magnific for character likeness. However you can use things like Gigapixel or Leonardo to upscale without the image changing.
@@curiousrefuge I'm not looking to upscale, I was hoping to use Magnific to create images from storyboards. I could use Magnific then do a faceswap in ComyUI or other app but having it all on place would speed things up.
Pipio is impressive, imagine a world where you can make calls with anyone all around the world, speaking any language and both understand each other perfectly and it looks natural

@@curiousrefuge Thank you. I like AI. I have been a filmmaker for over 15 years but always stayed in the "indie" mindset even though deep inside I wanted to tell big,epic stories. I had somehow accepted the fact that maybe these stories won't come to fruition ever. But thanks to AI, a new portal has opened up almost.
Now, I wonder if I can leverage this new skill in the commerical side of filmmaking as well. Having that bridge between the artistic pursuits as well as financial stability, all through the same tools, would be amazing.

Not much to learn, they make their tools with only a few controls, the subscription is high though!
Depends when, how much time to render, what computer to render.
We are all very excited to see Sora - but remember it will be months before it's available (and yet still may not be accessible). In that time, all the tools will continue to get better with control and quality.

magnific is expensive compare to other ai website with similar service
Lots of competing tools! We love Magnific but there are alternatives too if you wanted to explore other options :)
shame magnific dont have a try before you buy, they could do 10 generations for $5, its worth a punt then, you go into these AIs with big expectations and they arent what they seem... Or you have to regenerate 1 image 10 times before your happy with result... 'Have a word with them refuge team' ;)
Haha we appreciate the feedback. Every now and then, Magnific does a trial day so make sure to follow them on socials and wait for the next free day :)
To summarise now you can even copy the style of specific artists
Like any tool (i.e, photoshop...) we ask that students always make sure their end results is unique.

magnific still needs a lot of post work, don't think it's a good value for the money in it's actual form.

i dont understand. i keep seeing that magnific is free i always get asked to log in or register and as soon as i do that i get three plans and nowhere to even just try it out.
Krea was nice for letting me learn alot before you had to pay...or even needed to pay...which made me want to pay..sooo many times i NEED one more credit..cause i didnt realize..awesome costs 10..so they show its gen fill here its not workin smooth yet ive found but i think it will be amazing from everything else it does...all they need now is an uncrop.
It's not free but there are often 'free days' that you can test it out. Make sure to follow Magnific on social and you will be alerted to when these days happen :)

Man I feel bad for dubbing actors they are amazing. What are they supposed to do now?
This kills so many jobs in entertainment. Well, people will leave California and goto other places to get regular jobs.
It will certainly be disruptive, but there will always be a need and want for human emotion (even if to better train the models).
So what was the crazy tool that just changed filmmaking forever? The lip sync?
Magnific. Instant photo realism from concept art will completely transform the pre-production workflow.

But look at what the style transfer actually did to the drawing that became a realistic rendering... Chairs have mutated into something unrecognizable. And there are so many flaws in translation I'm not sure this would actually be useful for artists or architects.
Fair enough - it's not good for every use case!

Watermelon is a common phrase for actors, artists, and singers before getting on stage. We definitely see how our example could have been misinterpreted though, sorry!
