Who eats deviled eggs at Thanksgiving? The ENTIRE South, that's who. We also eat them at Christmas, Easter and any other family get together. My favorite way to eat eggs!
@@melissawentlandmoreno4559 She would mix about four eggs with a cup of milk and a quarter to half cup sugar, a pinch of salt and if I was lucky she'd add cinnamon. The bread was mostly the end pieces of a loaf she would save until there was about a full bread bag. Mix eggs, milk, sugar, salt and cinnamon. The bread she would just rip apart without a science. Not too big not too small. She had this small square cake pan that was barely an inch deep and it was about 9 by 7. She would butter it minimally, throw bread in and then pour the milk n egg mixture over it and let it soak until bread could not hold anymore. She baked it at 350 until golden brown on top and slightly clean toothpick (cake doneness test) She would make this while I was in school, by the time I came home it was still warm. After a day it would get what I call weepy, but to me that was like a sauce to spoon over a portion. It was good warm, hot or cold.
I add two beaten eggs to wet mixture as a binder. Bake covered, 10 minutes before done, remove foil to get crispy. Im always so tempted to eat before cooked, love dressing so much❤
Yay! I just ordered these rolls, thanks for the recipe!! Hero tortillas are amazing, I put a little ghee on one side and put it in a pan - then toss my dinner leftovers in it and wrap it up like a quesadilla for lunch! They crisp up so nicely.
THANK YOU GIRLS ❤😊❤😊!!! Stuffing is my favorite thing and I was really wanting some this year,y'all are awesome 😎!!!! Too cute on the poem ,you 2 always crack me up😂
Incase you don’t post another video before Thanksgiving I wanted to wish you both and your husband’s a Happy Thanksgiving and to let you know I’m thankful for your channel 😊❤️
Yes!!! Deviled eggs are always present at the Thanksgiving table! Some with bacon! Not sure if that's just a southern thing, but it's definitely a yummy thing!
I had surgery just before Thanksgiving one year. So my son ordered the prepared Thanksgiving dinner in a box from the grocery store. He placed a side order of a dozen deviled eggs. They are always a family gathering favorite appetizer. Especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. LOL
Thank you, ladies! Would love to see more on your other channel. Love the recipes and hearing your stories, struggles, successes. It makes you both so relatable. P.s I eat deviled eggs…even on Thanksgiving 😊
Yay for Hero! I'm making my family's traditional stuffing ( yes, we call it stuffing too!) with hero white bread.... I know it is going to kick some serious butt! Hope you all have a great Gratitude Day!❤
What an amazing idea. Ya'll and Roy have teamed up to make awesomeness. Consider making deviled eggs a Thanksgiving tradition. We have for as long as I can remember.
I love this video! I have found Hero products at my local Fresh Thyme Market. I. can try one product at a time and save a ton on shipping. I will definitely be looking for the rolls this week so I can take them to my family Thanksgiving dinner.
Instacart has fresh thyme in our area! Wish They Carried the brioche rolls but a great way to test products. ❤❤❤ huge assist for us old people on a budget thank you thank you
We always have deviled eggs as part of our Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. My parents did it when we were growing up, and I carried on the tradition with my children and grandchildren.
Cut your rolls in half & put them in your toaster to brown, pull apart cut up your onions & celery & fry in butter, throw everything in a bowl, add 2 or 3 eggs, add almond milk & mix well ,add powdered sage, S& P to taste Pour in baking dish cover with foil bake 350 for 45 to 1 hour Your dressing will be light & fluffy Simple, easy Love you gals I live in Chicago too ❤❤
We always added sliced sausage to our stuffing. I cant remember when we didnt, even when we used to cook it in the turkey, which isnt allowed any longer of course.
I will be trying these this week. Thank you so much for developing a cookie without almond flour. I don't think my stomach can take any more almond flour!
Just ordered. Thank you for the link and I’m doubly happy that they are sponsoring you. Love your content and your personalities. Can’t wait to have keto stuffing!!!
I'm in California and our Sprouts is currently carrying the Hero breads. I saw the hamburger and hot dog buns and two types of breads (regular and seeded). Going to be looking for these brioche rolls.
Love stuffing! Yes, down here in the south called ‘dressing’ but growing up in the Midwest it was always called stuffing, whether stuffed in the bird 🦃 or not. I do like to add a couple eggs to the mixture so it’s more cohesive and all the ingredients meld together when served 🥄 This looks fabulous, but all I really want now are deviled eggs 😆
Thanks for the delish looking recipe! I grew up (in the Pacific NW) with butter, bacon, onion, celery, classic poultry seasonings, bread and turkey stock - stuffing/dressing. What went in the bird was the stuffing - the rest/dressing was baked in the oven in a casserole dish and served on the side. Yummers!❤
I've done KETO since my Atkins days (50+ years ago). Before HERO I used low-carb bread, Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage, better than bullion, butter, poultry seasoning, and veggies. I always add mushrooms to up the veggie amount and put in more meat than bread. Adding the bacon is an interesting idea and I'll have to give that a try. My son is type 1 1/2 diabetic and I'm type 2. We appreciate all of the recipe ideas and information about new and (sometimes) available KETO products. I always like to have deviled eggs. Always.
This dish looks good and I plan to make it for my family visit for the upcoming holiday! I was reading the recipe in the description and the directions end before the baking part.
Love you two!! The Brioche Buns are AMAZING!!! I used the HERO hot dog rolls for my stuffing, which came out GREAT! You forgot to include the final cook time in the recipe above, but I air-fried mine at 350 for 15 minutes and it came out perfect! My first stuffing in years - a total success! Thanks so much!💝 ...now I want to make deviled eggs...🤣🤣
Definitely something I will try. Stuffing is something I miss eating at Thanksgiving. I’ve used a different keto bread when I make meatloaf, toasting it until it’s super dry and crunchy. It works really well. Thanks for trying all these recipes for us. You guys are great!
This sounds amazingly like the stuffing my mom made many years ago. The difference was she use 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 pork sausage. I’ve continued to make it that way, though thing became complicated when I developed a wheat allergy. Unfortunately gluten free bread is out now too because of the carbs. However, I have found buns I like from Fox Hill Kitchens and think I will try to recreate this stuffing using those. Hope it turns out as good as yours.
This looks amazing ❤ When I make this, because I just gotta, boiled eggs and a little more broth is what I will add to make it as close to my MawMaw's recipe as I can. I bet this recipe is out of this world, though. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Yum!
I will stuff both sides of my turkey, one with your keto stuffing, one reg. We have deviled eggs every holiday my family requests them. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you for another great recipe. I grew up in Northwest Indiana and remembered this recipe from the paper. Looks amazing. Going to make before Thanksgiving to see if husband will like.
This stuffing looks so good! In my family, we never put meat of any kind into our stuffing. Just the onion and celery and sauteed thinly sliced mushrooms (which would be good in today's stuffing recipe perhaps?) Thank you for showing us this recipe! PS deviled eggs are good all the time! :)
I’m new to your channel and just want to say thank you this stuffing looks wonderful and I will be making it next week for thanksgiving and I love ❤watching both of you so much and look forward to more of your wonderful videos.
I use the Walmart brand keto hamburger buns, rotisserie chicken and an egg, food processed baby corn juice plus broth I make from the rotisserie chicken all the herbs and spices, and veggies you would normally put in southern style dressing. It’s really good if you’re not a sausage or bacon kind of person.
I eat deviled eggs as an appetizer! Also I add in an egg or two with the broth to make it moist and then bake it. I used 647 bread last year but this year I ordered Sola bread online. I also want to try the Hero products! That croissant looks amazing!
Got my hero brioche buns in time to use in my stuffing. Already tried them and they are delicious. I’m still skeptical they’re good for you if you’re Keto but I’m sure they’re better then others.
I've been making Chaffle DRESSING (because NO ONE is stuffing turkeys anymore) for years. Adjusted it a couple of years ago after watching Serious Keto make his. Even the non-low carb people ask me to bring it.

Brioche slider buns are already gone. Lol.
Deviled eggs have always been the thing that has to be at holiday meals in our family tradition, we're going back generations.
I'm in the South and deviled eggs appear at every meal no matter what.
Deviled eggs are expected at EVERY HOLIDAY....LOL. My kids aka adults now....LOVE deviled eggs, as do their wives!
Right? I don't understand how people can't have deviled eggs at the family holiday
My favorite way to avoid panic attacks cooking thanksgiving dinner is to go out for thanksgiving dinner.
Great tip! 😂
Who eats deviled eggs at Thanksgiving? The ENTIRE South, that's who. We also eat them at Christmas, Easter and any other family get together. My favorite way to eat eggs!
We were a carb filled family so we never went for the deviled eggs lol
@@ketotwins 🤣We carbed out too! Mac N Cheese, Potato Salad, Dressing and of course Dinner Rolls! LOL
Everyone eats deviled eggs at Thanksgiving! I ate them in Detroit and Connecticut!
I literally made some this morning before I left for work!
My fam eats deviled eggs on Thanksgiving. Most people in the south do!
I see my great grandmothers bread pudding in my future. (Without guilt😅)
Have a great week!
Sounds like a good idea. I love bread pudding ☺️
Yummm

Make sure all bread is saturated. One time I didn't make sure, um it was okay but it didn't taste like home.
I add two beaten eggs to wet mixture as a binder. Bake covered, 10 minutes before done, remove foil to get crispy. Im always so tempted to eat before cooked, love dressing so much❤
I make deviled eggs for Thanksgiving and Christmas and they are always the first to go lol. Thank you both for the coupon code! Can't wait to try!
I make it with eggplant cubes!
Love hero ❤
And Easter!

🤗🤗🤗 thank you Angela!! Have a great thanksgiving!
Grandma cooked it with foil part of the time too. She'd spoon turkey drippings on the stuffing as it cooked or you can use more broth. Looks so good!❤

Very different from our Southern Dressing, but will try it, or blend up something of both.
I'm in theRacine/Kenosha area and use Aldi keto bread. I made a similar recipe last year and will give Roy's a try this year....
With the leftover make an egg with the yolk and have the yolk run into the stuffing ! Yummy

I have a recipe for cauliflower stuffing which is great. The seasoning deals with any other strong brassica flavor:)
Recipe please

My mom always did deviled eggs on Thanksgiving. I loved 'em.
Dressing is cornbread/biscuit mixture to this Texas oldie.
Yay for Hero as a sponsor! ❤
Love your sweater!

DRESSING looks delicious. I might add a bit more liquid. But I can see having this as a meal even when it's not holidays!!!

Looks delish! Can hardly wait to make it. 🧡🚀💫✨🧡 thank you!
While I didn’t make your recipe, I bought the rolls and made my own recipe which was delish !!
I'm making this now for post Thanksgiving dinner!
This looks amazing ❤ When I make this, because I just gotta, boiled eggs and a little more broth is what I will add to make it as close to my MawMaw's recipe as I can. I bet this recipe is out of this world, though. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Yum!
I’d like to try this with seeded bread from hero. Thanks for this! It looks great. Not just for Thanksgiving either. And plus, there’s no cauliflower.
I contacted Hero and suggested that they come out with a stuffing mix for next year. I hope they’ll be able to do that.
Great idea!
I just ordered 36 of them rolls.
Been off bread for almost 3 years. Never found a decent replacement. Hopefully these will work for special occasions.
Just ordered the buns and the sliced bread. ❤️🥰❤️
🤗🤗🤗🤗
My family has always made stuffing and dressing with at least one egg in it to bind it.
This stuffing looks so good! In my family, we never put meat of any kind into our stuffing. Just the onion and celery and sauteed thinly sliced mushrooms (which would be good in today's stuffing recipe perhaps?)
Thank you for showing us this recipe!
PS deviled eggs are good all the time! :)
we have deviled eggs for thanksgiving as an app ❤
I am Canadian we always prepare for Thanksgiving in October.
I start with half cooking time covered with foil and then take foil off the last half to crisp up the top.
I left your video to put my order in but I did come back to finish watching. I will be making Roy’s dressing.
I’m new to your channel and just want to say thank you this stuffing looks wonderful and I will be making it next week for thanksgiving and I love ❤watching both of you so much and look forward to more of your wonderful videos.

Thank you for the discount code Ladies! Just placed my order!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just ordered my buns hopefully they’ll get here in time for thanksgiving, stuffing is one of my favorite items to make/eat on thanksgiving ❤
I’ve been buying hero sandwich bread and I tried their hotdog buns, which are also really good. Thanks for sharing ❤️👍🏻
BYOB-bring your own bread!
Y’all are hilarious. I always click as soon as I get a chance to watch. ❤️
Thank you for watching ❤️
i had fixed deviled eggs on every occasion but i never did for thanksgiving,, don't know why.. maybe this year i will lol
I think adding and egg to the mixture before baking would help it retain moisture.
Got my hero brioche buns in time to use in my stuffing. Already tried them and they are delicious. I’m still skeptical they’re good for you if you’re Keto but I’m sure they’re better then others.
OMG. Thank you!
Got my Hero haul at Sprouts today. Going to attempt this recipe but I might have it for 2.
My family eats deviled eggs at every holiday.
TY for recipe!
Adding the meat does make it a great side!!
Happiest Holidays to You both & Yours!!
Thanks for sharing, looks good! Stuffing is my favorite, in fact I could eat just stuffing! LOL
Same! It’s one of our favs
Looks great I’ll have to try it😊
I would use chopped walnuts and cranberry too, yum
Looks delicious! I've heard that powdered spices are 1/3 that of fresh. 1 tbsp powdered would be 3 tbsp fresh.
You can add more stock liquid as it cooks.
Never had a Thanksgiving without deviled eggs. It's a must.
I think Sarah and I were all about the carbs on thanksgiving in our families history, there were no eggs lol
This sounds so good! I’m going to make it using egg white bread that I tweaked to be more savory for the occasion!! Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🍽
Thank you for introducing me to Hero products ❤
I bit the bullet and bought the brioche buns and tortillas...hoping to fool the hubby.
As usual, loved the perfect timing of the Monk music 🤭🤭🤭
❤️❤️❤️❤️ thanks so much Sing it
I bet adding the seasoning to the broth is a better method anyway. You dont accidentally get an unmixed clump.
Good point 🤣🙈
That dressing looks and sounds amazing!
I'd love to try some Yummy 😋
I absolutely love your red sweater. Please tell me where you bought it.
The thrift store! :) I think it’s from anthropolgoie many years ago
I have always loved stuffing - I think yours definitely looked a little dry but the video isn't over yet =) I'm betting it turned out really great
It was crispy on the top and moist under lol
We don't use sausage but decades of bacon, butter, celery, onion and fresh herbs.... and a dusting of dried sage too.
Deviled eggs are a staple at the holidays with my family ... 😂😂❤
Wow that looks amazing and yes add a side of deviled eggs with it … I call that dinner any time of the year 🙌
I've been making Chaffle DRESSING (because NO ONE is stuffing turkeys anymore) for years. Adjusted it a couple of years ago after watching Serious Keto make his. Even the non-low carb people ask me to bring it.
Thanks for the Hero link. Never heard of them. But I'm getting my bread from there from now on. I miss bread 😭
I am a pretty good cook, I think you did you pr steps just fine.
Hi Girls. This looks so tasty! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤❤
Thanks for watching Thea! ❤️
Wouldn’t miss it!!❤️❤️
great video love stuffing
That looks amazing, but I would have added smoked turkey leg meat instead of bacon.... I'm definitely going to try it.
Looks yummy! I already ordered my Hero buns. Thanks.
kitchen must smell amazin 😲
