I made this tonight with Carbonaut bread from Costco. I baked the bread pieces first at 350 in the oven for about ten minutes, with a light olive oil spray. I find Keto bread can get realllllyy spongey and I wanted to avoid that. I also added some ground turkey that I already had cooked up. I am dead impressed and so happy with the results. It is DELICIOUS. The flavor is perfect and the bread itself is a very good texture. Wow!!!

My family always adds fresh mushrooms sauteed with the onions, celery, and parsley. I was thrilled to find keto bread in HEB today. I will definitely make this for Thankgiving!

I had no idea that a low carb, Keto friendly stuffing exists. This is almost my same recipe except I toast the cubed bread under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp them up. I also mix everything in a bowl before transferring to the baking dish. I like to add mushrooms, sausage (I substitute crumbled up Morning Star sausage for my vegetarian friends) and a lot more spices. I can't wait to try this. Thanks Mayra, you're a life saver!!!!

Sage is a great flavor and Turkey giblets with the neck boiled in water until tender) I use the Turkey broth to flavor the stuffing and chop the giblets and pull meat off the neck ( be careful of the neck bones) Never tried pecans in stuffing (did they stay crisp and crunchy or were they soft after baking? I like the idea for adding parsley. Thanks for the demo!
Made this w cauli mash to go w my bacon wrapped turkey tenderloin. Delicious. Fabulous!!! You make your dressing the same way grandma taught me. 💚💚 (I had Nature's Own whole grain Keto bread so that is what I used)
My family and I love to add green chilies and sage to our dressing and gravy! NOT CANNED! Fresh green chilies are best, but more trouble with roasting and peeling, so we use frozen chilies that are defrosted and drained for both the dressing & gravy.

Your stuffing recipe is so much like mine, except that I use thyme but not sage, rosemary, and parsley, and I toast my bread before breaking it up. I don't add nuts, and I add 1 or 2 pastured eggs. I make some with a bread made from almond and coconut flour for me since I don't eat grains, and I make it with wheat bread for everyone else.

I was waiting for this video and the cranberry sauce which I totally love! Now with that being said Myra any event that they're not able to order that bread which I definitely I'm going to try ordering they can use another alternative which Aldi's has a zero carb bread I've tried it before and let me tell you it's multigrain and the other one is whole wheat I've tried the multigrain it is really good! So that's another alternative. I like that you put pecans in them oh I got to try that I normally make apple sausage stuffing from scratch but of course being on keto now I can't do that anymore with the apples and regular bread LOL. I would add Jimmy Dean’s sage sausage to the stuffing I would also add a half a cup of cubed up pumpkin instead of squash I would do pumpkin only because it gives you that little bite of texture and adds a little extra flavor to your stuffing

Lol...this vid made me think of the stuffing/dressing debate that i sometimes have with my friends of different races. I call what you made dressing because it's a side dish and doesn't go into the turkey. we never did that in my family. Stuffing is like the Stovetop stuff or the kind that isn't baked and is loose and does go into the bird. . Both are good. I was introduced to stuffing in high school...cafeteria fare. Okay, so my Mama's traditional sage cornbread dressing was the standard in my family. Before I became diabetic, I was in charge of retaining the recipe and making it every year. Hurt my heart when I had to give it up. So, I like the idea of using your cornbread recipe with the baby corn and using the low-carb breads to try and make it again. it called for all the veggies you used plus bell pepper. the seasonings were poultry seasoning, sage, seasoned salt and pepper. and, of course the butter, eggs and savory broth. So, I'm excited. I'm gonna try to make it for xmas dinner since my budget for thanksgiving is all used up. so thank you for hopefully bringing a little of my childhood thanksgiving back to me.
I plan on putting the stuffing in the turkey, so I won't use the eggs. Do I need to leave the Sola bread out over night or put in the oven to dry it out first?

I don't know what I did wrong. Didn't even use the whole amount of broth(3 cups). I used the whole loaf of Keto friendly bread. I drained the bread, stirred it several times while baking. So far in the oven for 11/2 hrs. Next plan is to jack the temp up & keep stirring til it dries out. Good thing I'm doing this the day before our dinner.😖

Looks great! When I use sliced bread I toast it first or put it under the broiler for a minute.

My grandmother used to make this kind of stuffing the bread type. Most southerners make the cornbread type. I like both ☺️.
