I’ll add this about Mark Jewelers inserts. They were only sold on military bases overseas. The bases in America had regular newsstand copies. I believe the MJ years were from about ‘72 thru ‘93. Happy hunting folks.
I once bought a stack I was barely interested in but I picked it up because it had a Fast Willie Jackson. It had a lot of Marvel and DC, several issues ofHoward the Duck, there was a Kiss cameo issue, Ghosts, just a whole bunch of nonkey books. Every one of them turned out to be Mark Jeweler. I didn’t know until I got home.
Mark jewelers are still sought after …I’d guess around $3500. I had an ASM 129 8.5 mark jewelers but it was restored (I made a vid about it on my channel some months ago). Pretty exciting to have one but fraud issues abound with these… like in my situation.
Finding sales data for mark jewelers without paying for gpa or go collect is impossible. I have a new mutants 14 mark jewelers and cannot find even a vague idea of the real value.
That’s idiotic. You don’t sell a 1/1 like that. That book could easily go for 10k+ im confident that if you did theoretically own this book I’d instantly give you 7k. I’m sure I’m not the only person who would.
@@joeymia Good to know, I never really sold comics, I only collect them. However, even a newbie like me knows that book is worth more then 5000 dollars.
I'd say way over $5K. It's not like other comps with other MJs. This is 1/1, where other comps of MJs are not 1/1, there are more copies of those. A true 1/1 would fetch quite a bit more. I'm thinking over $10K.
I don’t own any mark Jewelers and if I had to worry about trying to find those my head would explode.
I'm with you, start high and listen to offers

I heard they were in the military bases in the mid-west.
I bought them off the newsstand because I remember ripping them out of my comics.smh
Personally, I prefer the Canadian Price Variants. Only because that is what a lot of my collection is comprised of.........being Canadian.

I own a 9.8 newsstand and I payed 900 so that book could go for a lot more 😮
I think you have a good assessment there.
Agreed.

I would list it for 7000 dollar and only go a low as 6000. It's a Mark Jewelers, it will get bought sooner or later.

Any chance that gets a 9.9 if sent in for regrade and holder?
