  • Are you looking for a reason to replace coffee with matcha tea? This video’s for you.
0:00 Introduction: Matcha tea as a coffee replacement
    0:30 Matcha tea benefits
    1:17 Try it out!
In this video, I’m going to go over the many health benefits of matcha tea. Matcha tea is a super-concentrated green tea, made by taking the entire green tea leaf and grinding it into a fine powder.
Consuming one cup of matcha is the equivalent of consuming 10 cups of green tea, with only half the caffeine of a cup of black coffee. One serving of matcha contains around 31 mg of caffeine. Matcha green tea also contains the amino acid L-theanine which is very calming.
Here are some matcha tea benefits:
    •No jittery feelings
    •Feelings of calmness from L-theanine
    •Provides more energy than coffee
    •Improves mental clarity and endurance
•137x the phytonutrients as 1 cup of green tea
    •Decreases inflammation
    •Supports the immune system
Oftentimes, when people quit coffee they experience headaches and other withdrawal symptoms. If you use matcha tea as a coffee replacement, you won’t experience any of these negative side effects.

If you're going to try Matcha tea, I recommend buying the bamboo whisk that goes with it...when I first tried Matcha, the clumpiness was a turn off. Sifting the powder and the whisk help greatly with it's enjoyment. Not gonna lie, it tastes like grass but a little honey and a touch of almond milk takes care of that. 😉

I'm not a coffee drinker but I love my matcha tea. I will say this about it first and most important be careful where you get your matcha. Places like Starbucks add a lot of sugar and crap in theirs. Second take some time and learn the proper way to prepare it. There's plenty of videos here on UA-cam showing you how.

kantill true, Starbucks Matcha is horrible.. Very low quality and they add too much sweetener.. I make my own now ... I buy organic Japanese matcha and it’s amazing.

well it is too acidic or it is bitter? those are different things, because when it is bitter it is burned coffee, I can handle pretty much everything about coffee, literally all my family can have a muy before and they can sleep, also I drink the coffee in espresso like way using a moka pot, Italian coffee make that makes the coffee super concentrated, I drink it straight without sugar and it doesn't wake me up either, before any people assuming I withdraw coffee several times without headaches and any of that stuff

Try cold brew dark roasted Arabica and even add a pinch (a small pinch) of baking soda, if you want a less acidic coffee... Lower the roast, greener the coffee and more acidic the contents.

There are so many elements to prostate cancer treatment, iodine, no dairy, no alcohol, Japanese mushroom spore powder, krill oil, K2 to try to keep the bones healthy, selenium, NAC to stop cancer cell spread, CBT etc. However your expertise would help to clarify the issue in one video. If you have the time please make a video

Philip Mc Adam I recommend buying the bamboo whisk that goes with it...when I first tried Matcha, the clumpiness was a turn off. Sifting the powder and the whisk help greatly.

Philip Mc Adam I've found adding some cinnamon along with almond milk and honey to be quite enjoyable 😉 (approx. 4oz filtered hot water added to 1-2 tsp Matcha/shake or two of cinnamon powder with 4oz warm almond milk sweetened with 1-2 tsp honey) 😋

If I've gotten myself completely off of caffeine should I start drinking matcha? I do enjoy it, but is it better to not drink it at all or are there so many benefits that you should drink it?
And if you should drink it is it better to drink it plain, or can we add a tiny bit of milk or something like that?

@Dr. Berg: Any chance you could do a video on Yerba Mate vs Coffee sometime? The opinions seem to differ on this beverage. Some claims are that it is very healthy and has more antioxidants than coffee other sources and studies claim that it increases your chance of contracting several different types of cancer. Any chance you could clear up some of this confusion? Thank you!

I was told that they're diuretic so I was wondering if consuming too much macha teas could cause me constipation? (have a sensitive stomach so i get bloated easily... Any advice/ tips?)
