Minnie has been taking piano and classical vocal lessons since kindergarten and had dreams of becoming a singer since childhood and people still have the audacity to call her a bad vocalist because she prefers to sing stylistically. It doesn't mean she isn't capable of singing powerfully it just means she wants to make use of her tone and voice in a different way.

Why should they, their ballad singers are amazing and now days with all the kpop rage and increase in new idols it`s normal for them to feel more nostalgic towards a genre that touches the heart. I believe that`s where we all get them wrong, everyone thinks that Korea is all about the kpop but if you look into their music they have a lot of great soloists and ballad singers, folk singers, rap, hip hop etc Don`t get me wrong she did great would`ve loved to see her more but I think she showcased her best and that should be enough. Plus that Minnie is super busy now days I doubt she would even have the time for more appearances.
