Lol, that dime looks like it had a shark bite it. I think the German Shepherd found the treasure trove. Fist pump back at ya. Glad to connect with another Canadian detectorist.
Twenty five years ago Kits was quite productive. Then Parks started seiveing the sand, and all the interesting finds were gone, unless you went hunting just at sunrise. Down toward the West end, there was a lot of interference, as there was apparently a foundry located there back in the 1800s.
Do you have iron discrim. on? rusty nails will often give a high tone in the ground and then hit all iron on the surface? just a thought, I assume you run little to no iron discrim. as that's where much of our clad rings up. Cheers eh!
My targets disappears a lot on the beach. Put it on pin point and it should show up or keep digging. Most of the time it’s a beer top. Dig the 13&14 which is usually a pull tab. Every ring I’ve dug lately has been 13.
Hi WIG TV you guys are making me nervous! I am thinking about buying a nox 800, but loosing targets worries me, I have seen it on some of my other favorite beach channels also. Granted I hunt fresh water, but a don't remember ever loosing a target. other than maybe a small iron tone?
@@rdoggtreasurehunter5583 Yes they disappear every so often. I think its really small targets or they get buried deeper ?? But as for the Equinox 800 I would be buy it as it is awesome machine to use.
Any iron discrim you will lose out on canadian coins you must not use it i never use any disc on my detector i always use the all metal mode for coin hunting only.
Great area there. Thanks for sharing.
Come back for more beaches of Vancouver. cheers
