- Kevin O'Sullivan says everyone should be able to make their own choices about what kind of life they live, but he draws the line at being asked to state "a biological lie that a person born a male can become female, that's when I draw the line".
Joining Kevin is author Helen Joyce says using language clearly is important for writing rules clearly.
The Education Secretary has rejected the suggestion that new sex education guidance for schools will create a “big silence” around the conversation on gender.
The draft guidance, published on Thursday, states that schools should not teach about the concept of gender identity.

Keep boys out of school girls’ locker rooms; don’t allow men to use women’s bathrooms and changing rooms; keep men out of women’s sports; and don’t allow male criminals to serve time in women’s prisons. After the safety, security, privacy, and basic rights of half the world’s population is deemed important, then the trans dialogue will be debated less. Until then, expect hell to be raised.

Calling someone she/her is not the same as calling someone a woman. Drag queens call each other girl/she/her all the time, but most of them are men and are well aware that they're men. Trans women are different than drag queens, because they actually live or try to live their lives as women. As a trans man who passes and is mostly stealth I say that in my day to day life I'm just a guy, but in cases where sex needs to be recognized I'm a trans man. I don't like being called a female, so I ask my doctors and anyone whom I date to call me a trans man instead of a female living as a man, even though I'm aware that I am biologically female.
Those wishing to become the "opposite sex" should 1) have to be 18+ and b) pay for the operations/ treatments themselves.

The brain isn't fully developed by 18 so 25 should be an absolute minimum. By that time most will be able to make better judgements, or possibly have had time to do trauma therapy if that's the issue. Personally I think it should be illegal.

The problem with calling a man 'she/her' because they prefer it, Kevin O'Sullivan, is, as Helen says, that you dont have skin in the game. Those who want to force you to 'see' them as the wrong sex often have motivations which make them unsafe around vulnerable people and single srx women's spaces.

The literacy level overall has not increased since 2001 in uk schools. Isn't this the most important aspect of schools not anything else.
You'd be advised to see the Health and Well Being trans ideology curriculum being taught in primary schools to children as young as 9. You might then have a different take on it.

It’s fascinating how much people spend time dissecting the lives of people they don’t know. Many times they do this with the backing up of “facts” that upon examination are pure fantasy.

Every time we do these things, we reinforce and give credence to the lies. I used to be perfectly willing to go along with use of pronouns, and to go out of my way to accommodate trans people. Then the activists went completely off the deep end, and started behaving like religious fundamentalists, demanding total obedience to their belief system. Now? I will deliberately and explicitly refuse to play along, because doing otherwise is a tacit endorsement of these bullying, authoritarian practices. I won't affirm someone's religious beliefs just because they're threatening me, and I won't affirm someone's gender ideology for precisely the same reasons. If trans people don't like that, they then need to reign in the fanatics in their own house first. Then we'll talk.
I’m in a wonderful position in life where I don’t have to be nice to anybody. I recently had a short discourse with on of these people. This person scolded me for not using proper English grammar. I have a degree in English from NYU. I just called her “cousin it” ! Had a great laugh at that one, needed it. 🤣🤣🤣🤨

The incoherence, the talking out of both sides of their mouths, their inability to think past lunch time and see past the end of their nose: one minute they want to be seen as 'just women' and the other they keep going on about being seen and active as 'trans women'. How can you have both? They seem to want to be both and for the person living outside of the immediate vicinity of their belly button, that's insulting and confusing. Being 'trans' is a vital component of their identity, their social persona. I deeply resent being cast as a bit part actor in their private melodrama, their peer group fashion parade.

Correct me if I am mistaken but Penny Mourdant has a brother who is homosexual, (nothing wrong with that) but who is very active in the Trans supporting Ideological community. I certainly would not trust a word she says in respect of the Trans issues.
