I’ve just found out about the UV Clean Screen thanks to your video linked from Reddit! My PIH and dry patches around active spots looks so similar to yours, so I was really interested in trying it out since it looks amazing on you~ but I was so sad to see no one (not UV themselves or any authorized resellers I could find) ships clean screen to the US 😭
Thanks for this review, well done. I went to Sephora a month ago and they happily gave me three different samples of the Ultra Violette. The only one that worked for me was Supreme. I also bought the same top in green for the same reasons.

Hi, so glad I came across your video! I am a sunscreen enthusiast and currently on the hunt for a good tinted physical sunscreen, ideally made in Australia. Not many reviews of Australian made sunscreens on YT unfortunately!!! I was looking at the Ultra Violett Lean Screen one but am not keen on mattifying formulas ☹️ Am contemplating some US sunscreens, particularly the new EltaMd UV Restore one, it looks good on paper, as well as the Colorscience Faceshield SPF50, both are well regarded by dermatologists and YTubers, so I’m keen to try them and bite the bullet on import costs. I have the Colorscience 3-in-1 Total Eye SPF35 and absolutely love it. Very expensive but worth the money, it goes on so easily and also doubles as an under eye concealer. Would definitely recommend this if you need a sunscreen for eye area. Have you tried any of the EltaMd or Colorscience facial sunscreens?
Jamel Sydney I’ve heard of the two you mentioned but haven’t tried them personally! If you don’t mind a dewy look, refer to the Banana Boat tinted Zinc- I’ve used mine maybe 5 times? I’m happy to send it to you if you’d like. Just message your details :) also the colour science eye cream looks amazing! I think doll 10 has one? I haven’t quiet remember the brand, but I saw Boise beauty mentioning it! If I figure it out I’ll let you know

I have just ordered the Ultra Violette Lean Screen. Hopefully it won’t be too heavy or ashy on me. If that doesn’t work out I’ll try the Colorscience Faceshield SPF50 and EltaMd UV Restore. The search for perfect sunscreen never ends!

This is a great video! I’m constantly looking for new and better mineral sunscreens for acne prone and sensitive skin. It also can be hard to find good ones in australia because many that are recommended online are only available in the US. Really enjoy these videos and they have been a good reference for me in regards to Australian mineral sunscreens. Would be totally keen for another in depth application video like this with your 2021 favourites :) Do you ever find mineral sunscreens drying on the skin? I tried the lean screen earlier this year which had a really nice texture but to my surprise dried out my skin really badly after several weeks of consistent use :( My skin is actually combination with a more oily T zone. It kind of made me give up on mineral sunscreen for a while as I assumed lean screen would already be better than anything else. Any suggestions on mineral formulas you have found that might be less drying?
Sorry about missing this! Some minerals can be drying, yes, but I don’t have that issue with the next gen of mineral SPFs on the market now. I also find sometimes they’re harder to remove so can strip the skin a bit if someone over cleanses! I'm just curious on how dark the tint is on the lean screen? You said you have a friend and it shows up on her skin. I'm quite fair, like a NW13-15 in mac

My top suggestion would be the new day skin sunscreens , I like the good vibes one. They’re much more appropriate. I wouldn’t suggest the invisible zinc ones anymore :( BUT you can get a free sample of them is you message and ask on their social media , I think that’ll help xx

I can only wear zinc, chemical sunscreens give me eczema. I’ve been using cancer council matte zinc lotion, it does leave a slight white cast, so I haven’t been using it every day. Today I bought invisible zinc tinted daywear in light and it looks good, if honestly prefer a clear sunscreen but that’s impossible without white cast with zinc. The invisible zinc doesn’t smell as much as cc, it’s a bit too shiny so I put some nude by nature mineral foundation on top, just enough to reduce the shine. I don’t feel comfortable putting it on my neck bc it remains tacky and i feel like it’ll transfer onto my clothes. The perfect sunscreen doesn’t exist, what can you do

Sarah Cauchi My pleasure! I’d say lean screen has a slight tint. It’s much more mattifying. The banana boat has some coverage but is MUCH more of a hydrated (maybe even greasy??) finish. Although the banana boat one is my personal least favourite of this video, I do suggest you picking it up on sale if it interests you as it’s only ~$14, and I do know of a few people that enjoy it a lot. Lean screen is more of an investment! And great question! There’s a sunsense SPF50+ lippy that’s great ($3 mark??) I haven’t personally tried it but apparently it has no taste or odour. It’s currently 50% off at chemist warehouse too xx

I have oily skin. Is the Invisible Zinc Sheer defence suitable for oily skin?

My favourite is currently the new day skin mineral, but it is slightly tinted- much less than the invisible zinc!
