I have the same one and I bought the plumbing one instead of the regular lip oil by accident and put it on and for me it’s not that bad I just don’t like the minty taste.

I put warm water, fairy liquid and veg oil in a container then soak for 30mins, then I scrub with a soft sponge. I have a very large jar collection and this works EVERY TIME.
