Found your videos through the shorts that you made! Great job! You're a great teacher. The explanation of proportions was perfect for beginners not just for sculpting but also pencil renders and sketching 👍🏼
I'm a seasoned Blender user but haven't tread far into sculpting. AI used this tutorial and one of your hair tutorials on my sculpt yesterday. I had more success with that sculpt than any that I've done in the past! You're doing great work and I appreciate your knowledge :)
There are some small parts that have been left out (like how as a beginner when you start, pressing spacebar doesn't automatically bring up the search bar because you need to chance your settings), but it doesn't bother me because most of the time I can easily google a solution. I just wanna say thank you providing all these tutorials and short clips! They are very helpful and inspiring. A lot of people complained that the short clips should be slowed down, but I think they're great. You post a bunch of tutorials after anyway, and these short clips really show case that anyone can make good blender models if they are willing to be consistent put in the effort. So far everything has gone pretty smoothly for me, except for the re mesh part (which I don't blame on you). Every time I try to re mesh the head so I can add more detail, it either : -comes out with waay less vertices -no longer has the same shape/form that it used have -both Basically, instead of adding more detail, the quality gets even worse for some reason. I don't understand. I made sure the change the voxel size to 0.3m, to enable fix poles and volume and it still doesn't work... I tried messing around with the voxel size, and it seems like the higher the value, the less detail and vertices it has. I tried messing with adaptivity, and that doesn't work either. If anyone could offer a solution, it would be greatly appreciated. (Note : I can provide a video or screenshots if needed.) EDIT : For those that have the same problem, you need to make the voxel size *lower* , not higher like I originally thought.
@@loldiana12321 I already found the solution earlier (I really should have edited my comment afterwards), but thank you for trying to help! I appreciate it, and although my problem has been solved I'm sure this info will help someone else in need of it.
Yeah thank you I even failed with the spacebar thing😅 I thought it may be because she went into the "tablet mode" but I didn't know exactly what to do so thanks again 🙏
Your teaching style is very relaxed and paced perfect for me, I have to say one of the best blender teachers for this subject for sure. Can’t wait to learn more with you. Peace and good will to everybody.
You are amazing at this sculpting. I know nothing about it. Hopefully that will change soon. I have my 1st girl hand built she doesn't have hands yet, still trying to get decent looking ears. I see now her head was not egg shaped from the top view either.
Thanks for the information. I recently started sculpting a few weeks ago and this is exactly what I needed. I have a question I want to animate my character is retopology necessary for rigging the character? And can you please make a video on face rigging?
I am finding that the annonate tool is very useful. creating lines that I can use for refernces. you can also add a grid mesh, set it to wire in the viewport display and use it as a guide I would like to see you use different brushs to create facial effects. like using the cloth brush to give burnt look 9:48 had to remesh at this point, there wasn't enough edges. Ok, what I should have done was click on the Dynamic Topology which adds verticies to what ever I am working on.
Not a "Blender" newbie user!, But always had a trouble sculpting face details especially for females!, But after this tutorial I really pushed the boundaries away and could do it better by practicing on it, So really special thanks for you!, But wanna notice that later it's going to be hard to fix the "High Poly" count after sculpting the details which i see it could be really helpful to use the "Dyntopo" instead of increasing the "Subdivision" quality!, But really honest when I say awesome tutorial.
great tutorial, just a quick question, what modifier are you using for the mirroring? it just doesnt look like a basic mirror modifier… is that a stylus thing? im new to blender, so sorry if this is a stupid question.
Omg ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is what I needed 😭 Thank you Aram. It is a surprise for me.😘😘😘 Thank you so much. Nobody has made a tutorial on head sculpting for blender like this. ❤️ Again thank you. You are my Guru. 😊😊😊 You rock ❤️
Wow , that made me to check out your other videos , a subsrcibe and some likes are not the price of your hardwork ,but a way to show some thanks to you
I have found that it would be a good practice to duplicate the heads each time to get to a point in this video. That undo button can only do so much and starting over from scratch, while it makes great practice and would benifit over the long run, hurts.
I’m new to blender and recently started in college but I haven’t done much yet so I’m trying to learn from home. I thought this tutorial could help yet I’m unable to get past 35 seconds in thanks to the false instructions. Spacebar does NOT bring up a search with nothing in the video or description explaining why. Could you possibly add a fix to the description or your pinned comment? The rest of the video seems great so I’d like to give it a try once this issue is fixed. Also is there a reason you started with a cube rather than a UV sphere?
Thank you for this! When I draw with the annotate tool on the profile view for the ear and jawline, what I drew stays at x=0 and doesn't follow the shape of the head like yours (as you can see in front view). I tried annotate polygon but that didn't seem to do it. Does anyone know?
Appreciate the teaching..Just a question for you..when you are sculpting, how do you get both yellow dots in the yellow circle so that I can sculpt both sides at the same ty as I only get one yellow dot..and it's frustrating because I have to do one side at a time..please and thank you

@@AramTorkanArt do you happen to have a video on how to add a body to this?
This is a really great tutorial. It's amazing at the lack of good sculpting tutorials on youtube.
So glad it’s been useful! Thanks🤗🌸
your way of using annotation for proportions is a very good way to sculpt. Hatsoff

EDIT : For those that have the same problem, you need to make the voxel size *lower* , not higher like I originally thought.
Make the voxel size smaller 0.03, you are losing detail if you make it 0.3 because the units are much bigger

Also do you know if there's another way instead of using the spacebar? I like the default settings for the view and I'd want to keep them :/
Okay I'm a little stupid but I clicked on mesh and chose transform to sphere nevermind 😅
everything about u says youre ppersian . im also from iran proud of you . thanks for great teaching
It's even kind of useful for 2d artists. Thanks for the amazing video. :)

Who else is re-taking this course with Nomad Sculpt? It's amazing on the iPad and the skills here transfer over.
This is great, I was never able to do this because the proportions looked so strange before you were supposed to level them out
Thank you very much for the tutorial. It helped me a lot.
Very informative! Now I am curious how can I sculpt with alphas in blender like we do in Zbrush? Can you please show that next?
Thank you! I had no idea where to even start, great tutorial:)

And can you please make a video on face rigging?
You’re welcome! 🌸 yes, for animation, you should do retopology ! Maybe I’d make some tuts about that in the near future🤗🌸
Shift Alt S for the perfectly round sphere, or just iconosphere with 7 subdivisions
thank your for this, very easy to follow

I guess you are asking for the mirror mode. Look up on right top (left of dynotopo feature) and toggle on X from XYZ. That oughtta do it.
