Sidenote: The song "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath (heard at the ending credits) was not about the Marvel character. The story within the song was basically that a man travels forward through time and sees the apocalypse. He travels back to his own time wanting to warn the human race, but a magnetic field causes him to be turned into steel. He still tries to warn people but is ridiculed and ignored. He becomes enraged and fulfills his own prophecy by destroying mankind.
Very cool side note! It reminds me of Emerson, Lake & Palmer's sci-fi apocalyptic song, "Karn Evil 9" where the future is so bleak that a "single blade of grass" is looked upon as a mere museum piece in a futuristic carnival. It also reminded me of Queen's sci-fi song "'39" that presumably takes place in the year 2039, or 2139. Also, Pink Floyd's apocalyptic song, "Take It Back" where a future Mother Nature forcibly takes back control of a polluted Planet Earth.
Welcome to the MCU Magy & Laura, I love Iron Man, this movie laid the foundations for what we know today as the MCU, Nobody can match RDJ like Tony Stark! 😎 He was born for this role, I think he is the favorite Superhero of many! ❤️😎 (Even for me it is) Incredible that 16 years have passed since the premiere of this movie, What a story, so many memories! ❤️💯 Another thing is also that this film saved RDJ's personal life and acting career, after many of his failures, divorces, addictions, and his years in prison, and all that perseverance paid off in 2024 as he won the Oscar. , It's an incredible story of overcoming, many of us love this guy, RDJ is the goat of Marvel! ❤️🔥🐐

While this is a iron Man origin story Tony Stark is not the MVP of the movie it's pepper Potts when you think about it. Pepper retrieve the evidence that incriminated Obadiah Stane she was the one who kept Tony's old Arc reactor due to his habit of throwing things away when he makes a new advanced model of tech. Also Tony came up with the idea to defeat the iron monger armor but it was pepper who actually killed Obadiah stane by overloading the Arc reactor. Not to mention Colonel James Rhodes who despite not being on the same page as his friend still supports him while is best friend Tony does not do the same.
Batman Iron Man Spider-Man All of these guys built their hero ability themselves. Bruce Wayne had to develop the intellect and skills himself then also had some experienced and genius assistance. @@JedHead77Yeah, Batman is a fighter type, he's like a combination of Iron Man and Captain America. He has advantage in hand to hand combat. RIP Myspace. Nice re-reaction Magy and nice first reaction Lora. Robert Downey, Jr. is the epitome of Tony Stark, Tom Cruise was considered for the role and I think in the Multiverse, he would be a great Supreme Iron Man. Excited to see your reaction to the next two films. There is an Invincible Iron Man animated film if interested. I suggest Marvel's Blade (1998) and The Punisher (1989) with Dolph Lundgren.
*Ladies, this was directed by Jon Favreau, who also played Happy Hogan, Tony’s driver and head of security.* *Magy, he’s also co-creator of The Madalorian*
Robert Downey Jr is a great actor, if you take away his mustache he seems like another person, when he was young he made several interesting films. Example "Chances Are" or "Heart and Souls", I recommend them to you, especially Chances Are.
Hey, girls. Once again, we see how the charm of Tony Stark has left women swooning. Hus intelligent, money, lifestyle, and personality have converted to his legion of fans. Think of Iron Man as the modern version of the knight in shining armor with technology for today's world. I'm looking forward to following your journey through the MCU and have subscribed to make sure to have a seat on this ride. Keep going and enjoy the movies.
Loved and enjoyed yalls reacted to this! Also y’all should watch the movie from 2010 called “Due Date” it’s with Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis (Alan from The Hangover) it’s hilarious and I think you 2 would enjoy it and yall would die laughing lol, it’s one of my place favorite comedies
Awesome reaction When I first watched iron man as a kid, I was so amazed by Stark’s advanced technology and suits, like my mind was completely blank 😮. Hey Mags I remember you reacted to the Incredible Hulk 2008 a few years ago, you should ask Laura if she has seen it, if not you both should react to it someday 😊.
15:52: *If I were Tony, I’d have gone to In-N-Out Burger, since it’s west coast-based.* 🍔 *I’m surprised Burger King didn’t do a tie-in with the movie.* 🤦🏻♂️

Magy, I gave you some advice once that upset you ... that was NOT my intention. However, whether it was from me or others, you followed that advice, and I wanted to tell you, I LOVE your reactions now. My original intention was to HELP you, because I like you and your personality very much, and I mean that in a good way. You deserve the best, I feel my efforts may have helped do just that. Very enjoyable reaction, from both of you.

Easily my favorite solo MCU movie. Endgame being my favorite of the entire universe. Tony's my favorite character. But oddly, the Captain America saga is my favorite series. All the obvious choices. I'm an MCU frontrunner. I don't need to try and be different on this. .Some things just are what they are. lol
Welcome to the MCU travel, Laura 😉🙂 Well Magy, the story goes like this; From 1996 to early 2000's Robert Downey Jr.'s drug addicton went out of control, he was sent to jail, got fired from the TV-show Ally McBeal & lost movie roles. I believe he was into drugs since the 80's. His career went downhill, he was almost a washed-up star, but he did some movies that where either a hit (like for example Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang) or a miss. But in 2008 he got cast in Iron Man, which was originally considered for Tom Cruise & Disney originally didn't want Robert because of his troubled past, but both Jon Favereau the director & I believe Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, insisted on Robert for the role. And the rest is history, the movie was his comeback, the role & the MCU franchise pretty much revived his career & made him more popular than before. Today Robert is clean & sober, though he is pretty much ashamed of his drugged, bad past. I saw a clip where a journalist asked him about this & Robert walked off the interview. I also believe that time must have been a painful period for Robert to wanna remember. It was so bad that he even was homeless for awhile.
Another great reaction ladies I hope you watch the whole Marvel series starting with this going to get emotional when we reach the end of this knowing that this movie started the whole Marvel phase it all started with Tony Starks I think the Hulk was released next after this magy I'm sure you know the release order of these movies this was the best time for Marvel's movies really looking forward to the next movie Marvel ladies keep up the great work it's already been far too long to see use ladies next reaction 😂much support💯👍✌️
Stark's Cheeseburger request scene always reminds me of Chuck Berry's 1959 song, "Back in the USA" that goes: "Looking hard for a Drive-In, searching for a corner Cafe! Where hamburgers sizzle on an open grill night and day. Yeah, and a Jukebox jumping with records like in the USA!" Though I prefer Linda Ronstadt's 1978 cover version.
Another great Robert Downey Jr. film is "Chaplin" (1992) where he plays the famous silent film actor, Charlie Chaplin. It also co-stars a young Milla Jovovich before she became famous in "The Fifth Element" (1997).
It was no surprise to me that Laura would be a RDJ girl. She likes the cocky type. Tony is the rare combination of brash but likeable. This is going to be a fun ride.
Great movie. The old guy who Tony called Heff is Stan Lee Rip who created allot of the Marvel superhero look out for him. You should see Superman 1978 the movie the one that is the first modern superhero movie the one that started the all genre.
Respect to Yinsen. The man had little screen time, but made a big impact to Tony Stark's character
He was the actual hero of this movie, not Tony. Iron Man becomes a hero eventually.
He put Tony on the right path!!
The fact that y’all are gonna start this journey into the MCU, I AM HERE FOR IT! Please continue the MCU journey!!!
The genuine excitement and investment you guys brings to these reactions makes me excited to re-experience the MCU all over again

*BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER (2022)*
Finally you 2 are beginning your mcu journey. I have been waiting for you both to react to their movies.
I hope you will watch the movies in order of release like the world did so you can get the same sense and feel that we all did when we watched them.
Enjoy!!
Give a Chance to SHERLOCK HOLMES with RDJ as Holmes itself
You mean as Holmes HIMSELF. - Sherlock Holmes is not a toaster.
Yinsen's death played such a crucial role in the development and growth of Tony.
I love Iron Man my favorite superhero movie
One of the most iconic films in history.
MCU... LET'S GO!!
Welcome to the MCU, Laura! You're in for a hell of a ride! Thank you for introducing her to this amazing universe, Magy, and letting us come along! ❤🐺
WhAT A GREAT MOVIE YOULL OVE THE MOVIE!!!!! So excited tor you to see the rest. I think you both should watch coraline. Such a good movie!!!!
My favorite of all the Marvel franchise.
16:19: *Glad to hear you’re not drinking Red Bull anymore, Magy.*
9:48: *”You’re a man who has everything…and nothing.”*
You don't even know me.
@@Wezwolf He didn’t have to. His answer (or lack of one) told him everything.
@@JedHead77 No. I am saying that YOU don't know ME. Telling me I have nothing, just based on my profile picture, is prejudice.
"I'm Nick Fury." I forgot about this moment. What a GREAT Marvel movie.
Since allways DC and Marvel had been like Coca Cola and Pepsi and the copa each oter caracters like flash (DC) vs Quick Silver (Marvel), in this case is Batman vs Ironman
Yes!! I’ve been waiting for this to post. I’m so happy that you are starting the journey. It’s a great one too.
This comic strip was the inspiration for the song IRON MAN by Black Sabath. Because the song was more popular than the Comic -these movies were made.
I AM IRON MAN.
🎸🎼🎵🎶
No you re jo
*Ladies, this was directed by Jon Favreau, who also played Happy Hogan, Tony’s driver and head of security.*
*Magy, he’s also co-creator of The Madalorian*
Robert Downey Jr is a great actor, if you take away his mustache he seems like another person, when he was young he made several interesting films.
Example "Chances Are" or "Heart and Souls", I recommend them to you, especially Chances Are.
Great reaction! I also noticed about 417 instances where your eyes glazed over and you started drooling.
Peper Potts interviewing for Mrs. Doubtfire: "I. AM. JOB!"
Ahh where it all started
"Thinking Alone," tee shirt, couldn't read the small print.
Beautiful, beautiful, reactions, thank you, thank you.
*”Afghanistan” was actually filmed in California!*
I love all the technology Tony Stark used. Especially when it came to creating his suits.
Magy, you forgot 'Dark Phoenix' in your X-Men movie run.
Awesome reaction
When I first watched iron man as a kid, I was so amazed by Stark’s advanced technology and suits, like my mind was completely blank 😮.
Hey Mags I remember you reacted to the Incredible Hulk 2008 a few years ago, you should ask Laura if she has seen it, if not you both should react to it someday 😊.
15:52: *If I were Tony, I’d have gone to In-N-Out Burger, since it’s west coast-based.* 🍔
*I’m surprised Burger King didn’t do a tie-in with the movie.* 🤦🏻♂️
My movie favorite, iron man
Magy: (imitating the kid that sees Iron Man flying for the first time) “Mama, it’s an alien. An alien invasion.
Me: if only that kid could see the future
Magy, I gave you some advice once that upset you ... that was NOT my intention. However, whether it was from me or others, you followed that advice, and I wanted to tell you, I LOVE your reactions now. My original intention was to HELP you, because I like you and your personality very much, and I mean that in a good way. You deserve the best, I feel my efforts may have helped do just that. Very enjoyable reaction, from both of you.
A good start. Only around 30 movies yet to come.
For me, is definetly wear reading glases, I start whatchin this reaction last nigth and in that red shirt that say: "Thinking alone" I real something completly diferent (if you know What I mean 😜) Congrats and greethings! Love you'r reactions!!! ✌🏻
25:55 They got rizzed up🤩
Easily my favorite solo MCU movie. Endgame being my favorite of the entire universe. Tony's my favorite character. But oddly, the Captain America saga is my favorite series. All the obvious choices. I'm an MCU frontrunner. I don't need to try and be different on this. .Some things just are what they are. lol
Phase One begins.
Welcome to the MCU travel, Laura 😉🙂
Well Magy, the story goes like this; From 1996 to early 2000's Robert Downey Jr.'s drug addicton went out of control, he was sent to jail, got fired from the TV-show Ally McBeal & lost movie roles.
10:40 try watching Robert Downey jr and Jude Law in Sherlock Holmes…great movie
"I am Iron Man". That wasn't Tony Stark saying it, that was RDJ saying it. If you knww what I mean.
Welcome to the greatest franchise of all time, enjoy the MCU journey
James Bond would like a word. 🇬🇧🍸
So glad to watch you both nto this new journey!!!!
Laura's crush list inching closer to Magy's movie list. She would keep a harem of men if she could. Enough to make Cleopatra blush.
Tony Stark reacted to this film in a cave … with a box of scraps!
So cool, welcome to the marvel cinematographic universe....😊
Here we gooooooo :D
ahh I always watch the first iron man movie at least 4 times a year ;)) Tony it's the man!
When are you watching X-Men Dark Phoenix?
you have no idea the journey youre both about to go on with this series of movies
14:34 Yinsen: Don't Waste It. Don't Waste Your Life.
Me: He didn't waste it... 😢
I’m just tryna be one of Laura’s crushes. Her smile be making me smile.
Great reaction again Maggie and Lola 🥰👍
