Ryan Reynolds first became aware of Deadpool because a producer friend told him after seeing the film Blade Trinity that if they ever make a Deadpool movie he would be perfect to play him. Ryan confessed that he had never heard of Deadpool before, so the producer mailed him some Deadpool comics. When he was reading the comics there is a scene in one issue where he is walking down the street and an old woman asks Deadpool what he looks like under the mask, he then says “ I look like a cross between Ryan Reynolds and a Shar-Pei”. Ryan then spent the next 11 years trying to get this movie made.

This Deadpool is like the most accurate depiction of a comic book character in a movie ever. Ryan Reynolds completely put his heart and soul in bringing Deadpool to life
The running joke for the movie is Deadpool keeps asking "Where's Francis?" But Francis tells everyone that his name is Ajax. He keeps his real name a secret.
Deadpool knew that nobody knew who Frrancis is, but he wanted to kill all who were related to that butcher house, while also constantly pissing off Francis by dropping his name
The writers of the film who worked on this project for six years, the studio refused to pay for them to be on set. Even though that is pretty common in the movie industry. So Ryan paid for it out of his own pocket to ensure they were on set every day.
@joezavcer. Well to be completely fair, Ryan had a lot of EXTRA money since his movie National Lampoon’s Van Wilder was written by Bert Kreischer and some other writers. It was all about Bert’s time at FSU after he was named “top partyer at the number one party school by Rolling Stone. One of those writers took the script to Ryan and friends. And they then ripped Bert off and didn’t pay him a dime. For his story. So in essence, Ryan is only “big hearted” when it benefits him. Those writers being on set benefited him. 45:55 in the comics, he lost his mutant ability at one point, so he went back to being an extremely attractive man. To answer your question, Laura, no, he can't heal his face. Just as his healing factor (his only mutant power) is incredibly powerful, much better than Wolverine's, his cancer is also "regenerating" just as fast. So both his healthy cells and the cancerous ones are recovering just as fast. His body is just covered in cancerous tumors.
I just saw a short video about how Wolverine and Deadpool’s healing factors are different, and not necessarily more powerful than one another. In a nutshell, Wolverines healing brings him back to a healthy state, whereas Deadpool’s healing factor brings back his dead cells back to dying cells. That’s why he looks the way he does. @@jrthefreshmaker I don't think the video is necessarily wrong and no worries about contesting me or anything. With comics and even moves adapted after comics, I think there's a lot of factors. Regardless of what the comics might say, in this _film_ Wade's appearance clearly has nothing to do with his cancer. His healing simply returns him to the "default state" (like a computer backup), which unfortunately for him was after Ajax's/Francis's final torture created those disfiguring scars.

Regarding the "old" Deadpool: Don't forget that, in Days of Future Past, the whole timeline got reset in the 1970s, so anything we've seen previously that happened after the '70s may or may not be the same anymore. For example, we know the stuff with Stryker must've changed because Jean and Scott are alive (so they didn't die when Jean's Phoenix personality rose to dominance after the breaking of the dam and mass flooding at Stryker's compound at Alkali Lake). So, this time around, Stryker didn't make Wade into Weapon XI. In fact, it's possible that Stryker and Wade have never even met.
Of course, Deadpool knows what happened in the old timeline, cause he knows what was in all the old comics. Just think of what he would do to Stryker if he ever met him... and poor Stryker literally having no clue why this weirdo was chopping off his naughty bits...

12:35 This is probably an unpopular choice, but for me my favourite scene in all the deadpool movies is this one, and by a long mile. The way the audio gets half-muted and we actually see depressing thoughts from an otherwise overly joking character gets me both teary-eyed and covered in goosebumps every time I see that scene
Deadpool isn't actually a mutant, he's a mutate. Mutants abilities manifest naturally at some point in thier lives from their mutant-X gene. Most of the time it's triggered by puberty or situations of extreme stress. Mutates are given some kind of catalyst to trigger their mutant-X gene because it doesn't happen naturally.
Remember, this was released on Valentine's Day Weekend. So that line "my boyfriend told me this was a love story but that guy just stuck him like a kebab" is SOOOOOOOOO true. "But babe, it's Ryan Reynolds and this love interest and you love Ryan Reynolds". But the brilliant thing about the Deadpool movies so far have been more than Superhero movies. A love story, a story about family, and we'll see soon what this 3rd one will be about. Friends? Apparently Deadpool has to do something to save his friends & family & looks like Wolverine lost his...and they will need to become friends to overcome.
There's something I didn't even pay attention to the first time I watched this film. When Ajax and Angel kidnap Vanessa and have her tied up on top of the ship she says, "My old boyfriend is dead." She didn't say "Wade is dead" or "my boyfriend is dead" she said "my old boyfriend." That would imply that she has a new boyfriend. That's going to be an awkward conversation.
Alot of people/commentors are shocked by Stan Lee being a DJ at the Strip club.... They either Forgot or Don't Know that he wrote a Comic titled "Stripperella" of which they made atleast one season in animated form with Pam Anderson/Lee voicing the main character.......
One of Deadpool's superpowers is that he becomes aware that he is mart of a media (comic/movie/game) and talks to the audience as he can see us. I hope his other powers like teleporting or weapon spawning or his inner personalities constantly talking to him reasoning and enabling his craziness
45:54 'Is there a way to fix his body?' No. He heals so fast that the cancer cures, but then he heals some more getting cancer from his own healing. Deadpool suffers from a continuous cycle of being full of cancer and cured. It does make him literally immortal and death's favorite 'mortal'. Even Thanos is jealous of that. For the rest this movie shows mostly what the comics tell about Deadpool. The only thing that is wrong in this movie is that Wade breaks the 4th wall in the scenes before the experiment. It's the experiment that drives Wade so crazy he realizes he is a comic book character and can interact with the writer or in the case with this movie the audience.. He is the original 4th wall breaker.(As long as there wasn't one in the Roman times.)
His comic title was always " Deadpool,,The merc with a mouth", and now ya know why. It was so cool to see Leslie Uggams ( Wade's Blind old lady pal)..She paved the way for black actresses in Hollywood back in the 60's and hadn't worked for some time. The sequel's even funnier and lots of returning characters, Can't wait to see you beautiful ladies react!

14:51 "I represent an organization that may be able to help." "That's never a good thing." Yeah. Invariably, organizations generate expenses. The harder they work to keep those expenses and the way they cover them out of sight, the less they can be trusted.
Part of why he looks the way he does is his regeneration is a bit crazy it doesnt heal him to healthy. It also heals the cancer so the cancer grows like crazy, heals then grows again etc.
I get a huge kick out of the part where Deadpool says "Wait!! You're probably wondering why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed. The 'Wade Special' is Pineapple and Black Olive. 14:08 - Retroactive trivia: Ryan Reynolds would go on to co-star with Will Farrell in an A Christmas Carol remake called 'Spirited.' 36:35 - I LOVE that you censored the bodies but still put 'Francis' on the screen.

Fun fact. Why do you think nobody was answering Deadpool’s question? It’s because nobody knew who the hell Francis was. He went by Ajax. So Deadpool was basically going around murdering people asking an unanswerable question. Even in the very first scene when he was drawing a picture of Francis on a piece of paper with crayons 😂
The chick that played Nega sonic Teenage Warhead is from my hometown (College Station Texas) nice to see someone from here besides a President become a celebrity.
About their, eheh, romance and the fact that he keeps flirting with everyone is true to the comics character, who is canonically pansexual - basically he doesn't care what gender someone is, guy, gal, everything in between is just as attractive to him. It's been strongly hinted that he's had at least one steady relationship with a guy.

He is plays in Galaxy Quest 😂😂
(Paraphrasing) “It turned inside out and exploded.” 🤣 His best line in Galaxy Quest.
This makes sense
I mean, puberty is a situation of extreme stress in and of itself lol
Ryan Reynolds is perfect for this role 👌.
At 30:50 in the strip club Stan Lee says " You can buy love but you can rent it for 3 minutes" hahaha :D
AKA Madcap and Dr. Bong
Ryan being reason R-rated movies exist in Marvel.
*looks to Blade*
@@udjm_phoenix The Punisher predates that.
@@alphanerd7221 Was Dolph Lundgren’s Punisher R-Rated?
edit: Shit…learned something new
@@udjm_phoenix Yeah. It's a mind bender becuase the movie is actually less violent than the comics which were sold to small children.
@@alphanerd7221 Much in a similar vein as The Terminator and RoboCop…
DP killed so many guys asking about Francis
only if he had asked about Ajax then he'd have found him way sooner 😂
Hi Magy , Can't believe I'm watching your reaction to deadpool again but this time with Laura !!! Can't wait see react to Deadpool 2.
Oh YES PART3 in just a FEW WEEKS🤣
4:34 General Kenobi 😎
To understand the very ending clip better. Check out Ferris Bueller's Day off it's a swipe from the very end of that movie. From 1986. Check out Superman the Movie (1978) and Somewhere in Time (1980).
Magy and Laura reacting to Deadpool! -- I'm touching myself tonight.
better to do that after watching their onlyfans vidoes. MUCH more fun to watch when they are in naughty wear.
Deadpool is one of my all time favorites to watch! 🙌🏻
Nice summer look, Magy! 🥰☀️
I had to go to the theater and watch this a second time because, the first time, the crowd was laughing so hard they drowned out lots of the jokes.
Nice reaction. You two picked up more details and jokes than pretty much everyone else I’ve seen review this movie. And how you managed to edit out all the language and other stuff, I don’t know. And if I may say, you both look lovely, it was a pleasure to watch your video.
I gotta say though ajax was a hell of a great villain who didn't give dam about anybody and put up a bloodthirsty fight, definitely outstanding 👏
I've Always loved how Deadpool Knows he's a comic book character and talks to the camera and us. Same with the comics he knows what's up
Ladies, you should watch *Ferris Bueller’s Day Off* to understand the post credits scene. And yes, stay through the credits for that one too. 😉
Have you seen Blade Trinity? That was Ryan Reynolds' first Marvel role, when he got jacked.
Blind Al is Betty from Fallout. She's great.
Damn, that's cool. I've seen it several times and didn't place her.
I never saw Pikachu so happy.
44:42 A reference to _Ferris Bueller's Day Off._
I like her tattoo "If not now then when" i am 45y old and did not live by that, and i regret it.
Dont listen to other people listen to you're gut.
"He's processing it well." LOL
Deadpool is maxed out on all of the riz points. 😁✌
14:51 "I represent an organization that may be able to help."
"That's never a good thing."
Yeah. Invariably, organizations generate expenses. The harder they work to keep those expenses and the way they cover them out of sight, the less they can be trusted.
21:43 "We're gonna fit you with a control collar and auction you off to the highest bidder."
And _there_ it is.
Part of why he looks the way he does is his regeneration is a bit crazy it doesnt heal him to healthy. It also heals the cancer so the cancer grows like crazy, heals then grows again etc.
Original Daario Naharis sighting. I used to hate his face, but then I wished they never had to replace him.
35:43 "He tried. He _tried_ to save them."
He tried to _spare_ them.
Please Magy. Do the same thing with your bestie with Tropic Thunder.
I love the ferris bueller after credit scene chika-chika!
To understand the part after the end credits, when Deadpool says: go home, it’s over. You ladies need to watch “Ferris Buler’s Day Off” movie.
I get a huge kick out of the part where Deadpool says "Wait!! You're probably wondering why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed. This guy's got the right idea, he wore the brown pants."
I swear, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. He nailed the character so damn well that we forgot about the atrocity that was the Green Lantern movie.
Even though it wasn't really an atrocity, it was actually a decent movie that suffered from writers who probably got screwed over by studio execs.
@@passionsquietrage Those execs must have changed the good dialogue and witty lines to be as bad as they were. I also wish Parallax was done better, too
@rainbowpegacornstudios I didn't notice any bad dialog or lines. The issue with Parallax is that they combined him with Hector Hammond when they should have had one villain that wasn't a mashup of two different ones.
@@passionsquietrage That would have been better. or make Sinestro go Yellow Lantern earlier on and make him the main villain.
@@rainbowpegacornstudios It would have made far more sense to have Sinestro as the main villain.
Been missing you guys on here and on Twitch hope you guys are doing good its always good to see you both.
1:54 - "And here he is..." (Mint Mobile Commercial comes on)
Kudos to your editor for addressing the Francis like that 👍😎
Might have the wrong channel, but weren't there four of you ladies?
17:14 How is that not the thumbnail! ❤😂😍😂❤
3:15 -Because that's the REAL Deadpool
1:44 - That's actually Hugh Jackman's People cover. They photo-shopped Ryan into it as part of the long-going fake feud between the two actors.
3:36 - He's not TECHNICALLY a mutant. He's a 'mutate.' A mutant is a human naturally born with super powers (Cyclops, Wolverine, Magneto, etc). A mutate is someone who gained their powers due to outside influences (The Fantastic 4, Juggernaut, Spider Man, and so on).
4:09 - I won't go into the whole story this time, but this movie exists because a leaked pitch video went super-viral, forcing Fox to greenlight this movie against their worse judgement. This scene recreates the whole demo video: ua-cam.com/video/ikP9KG-HlnE/v-deo.html
8:25 - Digiorno Pizza is releasing a series of Deadpool-themed frozen pizzas as a tie-in to Deadpool and Wolverine. The 'Wade Special' is Pineapple and Black Olive.
14:08 - Retroactive trivia: Ryan Reynolds would go on to co-star with Will Farrell in an A Christmas Carol remake called 'Spirited.'
36:35 - I LOVE that you censored the bodies but still put 'Francis' on the screen.
Oh my God, Laura's look of horror at 29:18 was priceless.
excellent choice girls, bring the 2 it's really cool too
DP " i pity the guy who presures her into prom sex"
Negasonic in DP2 "this is Yukio, she's my girlfriend"
kind of surprised noone tried to cancel Ryan for that. With how trigger happy people get calling people phobes and such. Then again, they are trying the whole DEI stuff in DP3 so maybe thats his punishment for being Marvel Jesus. They're trying to crucify him.
If you haven't seen The Princess Bride, I highly recommend you do that before watching Once Upon a Deadpool.
@joshuawells835 She's done two videos on it actually, first by herself then with the ever lovely little sister of her friend Viki.
You both are so much fun. Thanks for making me smile.
I'm probably the thousandth person to say this in the comments, but the post-credit scene is a parody of the post-credit scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, a movie you should probably see bc it's Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Love this movie. Good reaction👍Hope you get that kind of love like Wade and Vanessa🥰
This guy's got the right idea! He wore the brown pants!
Am I the only one who thinks that FoxyLaura kinda looks like Venessa?
Yes. Magy looks more like Morena Baccarin than Laura.
she does doesn't she.
May I please take this moment to say one thing...
...fuck Wolverine! :)
Deadpool is everything funny, strong and can’t die can’t wait for the new movie to come out soon
Without a doubt Deadpool is one of the best Marvel Superheroes, a complete idiot, many of us identify with his crude humor and his double meaning, Damn! seeing Morena Baccarin in this movie is super hot, (Especially her whole scene) 🔥😈 And of course, Ryan Reynolds is the best, I love that guy! 💩😈🦄❤️🖕🏻
28:07 Sublime moment! 😂😂
Deadpool isn't a superhero, he's an anti-hero.
Then why did you say he's one of the best Marvel superheroes?🤣🤣
I have blue eyes and i CANT lift a heavy dude like that ! 🤔🙄😏🤪
If it's time for revenge, there's nowhere to go to. You're already there at revenge. The only place to go is away from revenge.
I cannot wait to see y’all’s reaction for LOGAN!!!!
This movie is so funny😂
Speaking of Fallouts Ghoul, Blind Al is the Overseer from the same show.
10:34 "You love Skee-Ball."
Yep. You said 48 minutes of whatever he wanted and this is what he wanted. 🤷♂
I know I've written this comment before, but here I feel it's fitting;
I hope you react to Pokémon: Detective Pikachu someday, Ryan Reynolds voices a talking Pikachu & I just know that Magy would LOVE that movie! 😉🙂
Why don't the X-Men give Rogue a control collar? Wouldn't that be the answer to her mutation problems
Charles would never allow that and I doubt Rogue would ever be willing to go that route.
Her eyes are similar like Gal Gadot😮
Gal isn't that attractive
@@computersurgeon_ you feel meeee haha
@@computersurgeon_ But she has great charisma, I like her.🤷
I love Laura's corset top!
MAXIMUM EFFORT!
Deadpool is the Funniest marvel movie ever.
He’s the #1 anti-hero
Ryan Reynolds was the best actor to play Deadpool, he cracks me up in every movie.
Thank you both for a great/funny reaction.
You guys make me smile a lot 😊
Deadpool is pretty good Marvel Jesus. Inevitable mutant
For the editor: FRANCIS - 👏👏👏
