this tune takes me back to a simpler time the50s and 60s was the best time to grow up in .I just turned 80 who says you are to old to rock in roll so keep it alive kids .
Gonna make some enemies here but must say Leslie is not miked up high enough and sounds like the guitars were just winging it (poorly). Why didn't the horns take a verse? OK, come and get me but must say I been a big fan since day 1.
I don't understand what y'all hear in his solos. They sound so patchy and beginner-like. They're not fluid almost as if he isn't able to play guitar. You and even Stevie Ray Vaughan call him a great guitarist, but I'm yet to see what you two are talking about.
@@TheMidnightModder Go back and listen to the first 4 Fabulous Thunderbirds record's and his band Storm then listen to his last four or five recordings, his music has changed so much, he is a band leader and plays in a style all his own, but on those Thunderbird records he rips it up
@@TheMidnightModder because you don't get it.With Jimmie, less is more.Jimmie can kill ya with a few notes and tone.Tearing the doors off the place on every song is ridiculous.Grow up.
Not true! "Help Me" is a blues standard first recorded by Sonny Boy Williamson II in 1963.[1] The song, a mid-tempo twelve-bar blues, is credited to Williamson, Willie Dixon, and Ralph Bass and is based on the 1962 instrumental hit "Green Onions" by Booker T. and the MGs.[1] "Help Me" became a hit in 1963 and reached number 24 in the Billboard R&B chart.[2]

Right On, Brother. I'm 64, can't believe how weak so much of today's music is, in my opinion. I consider myself fortunate to grow up with this music.
Never too old to rock and roll

Bookers son was the best on GO.

Simple but great! The most cool tune ever.
This makes my ears fill good.
love how Jimmie just played mostly the licks from the guitar solo in the original track. That's how you do it right there
Two guitars here, Steve Cropper played what it took two to do here.
Let's get this PARTY STARTED ...Jimmie Vaughan is the legend tunning up this rhythem and sound and the upbeat is arising ..terrific entertainment ..
A beautiful rendition by the original artist & others.

Grammatico amps are amazing.
Jimmie's guitar is a stunner! Love the gold!! Looks a lot like the Lincoln Brewster guitar.
Nobody plays it like Booker T Jones.
Jimmy's draggin it.. 🎸🎶🎹🥁💙😷
Was there!!
I’ll be seeing Jimmie July 27th at Antone’s.
3 minutes of video, before the 😎 COOLEST song 🎵 ever.

When Jimmie plays I lean in close because I know he's going to make every note count.

I’m 75 and still love this music .booker t. Vaughn brothers ❤️
Basics baby, learn the rules and then break it. Cool banannas, glad some one slowed this down a little.
That is song, not today bad semples.

I can see a duck shadow slowly gliding over the stage, trying to help that young kid...
I really miss Donald! He was the coolest cat in the group. So animated and energetic!!
Needs to bring the keyboards up a lot.
You are soooo right!
Booker T is way too low in mix...it's an organ song for goodness sake!
I don't there was a mix. It's just someone's smartphone out in front of Jimmie.
Well I don't think their cell phone has a multitrack mis capability
Who was that playing guitar with Jimmie? He’s pretty good!
That's Ted Jones, Booker T's son.
What's up with the young mans groove at the beginning of the song? It must be generational....not swingin' and too stiff.
Great pick up on the b3 🙄.
Who is the bald headed kid with Jimmy onstage with him?
I thought it was Booker T.'s son.
Could be a tad faster.
Nowhere near as good as the version with Daryl Hall
that's some low energy, or am i missing something?
replying to myself definitely low and bad sound
weird as can be...perhaps a sound mix thing...but you can tell they are on it with the warm up

Cynthia Robinson They butchered this.
They?
It’s recorded with a cell phone. No PA, just the stage amps.
This recording sucks ...more about guitar than the whole song....booker t sorry for the slight...you always wounded great.
This was kinda lame
What a horrible mix. Can’t hear the organ. An offense to the legend.
not as good as it could have been disappointing arrangement not hot at all!!
Thank god he didn't sing.
