Man, the Grey Wardens companions were the best. I mean I like the Inquisitor and Champions, but the Wardens was just the best you feel the bonds you made with them.
I honestly couldn't stand them in comparison to other companions, they felt like a bunch of assholes who didn't want any of each other around, no matter how much i got their affinity together it felt like they only liked the warden and had no realtionships with one another beyond pure annoyance
@@JEhrig I don't know, I mean Oghren and Zevran were pretty funny when you escape prison. Morrigan and Leliana get close during origins, though in later games they don't show it. Sten, and Shale weren't bad either. I mean you hear them banter and I can who gets along with who.

Isabela straight up ditches you, and Anders is a bastard. Fenris leaves you if you side with the mages. I feel if anything the DA2 companions were more fickle because they barely had a reason to be with you or each other except your siblings and Varriac. Plus you could actually freely talk to your companions unlike future games.

The magic spell that has me cry on command is Alistair staying at the gate because you know he'll take the blow to save you, or actually having him steal the kill from you to save you. Very very romantic.
Zevran’s romance. Zevran has issues, so it makes sense he doesn’t show it the “traditional” way. But, this is part of loving his character too. Knowing he means it, by his actions, rather than just words. Many ppl say “I love you”, and still take one for granted, belittle, intimidate, cheat... they think it goes with it. It doesn’t, but they call it love... Zevran, as much as he loves sex. Once he is with you, he stays true to you. On DA2, he won’t sleep with the champion if he is either grieving the Warden or in a relationship with her/him, so that speaks immensely of his feelings. I rather have that. Is more sincere. This is the type of character content that I love about this game, that makes me have to make at least one play through for all possible romance options. And love ❤️ every single time I play it, again, and again 💕 🥰

Man I just finished this game and I love it I will replay this game more times that I can count. Maybe beacuse I love the caracters. This game made a story alive with quests and things you can do all around. Plus I like how Morrigan almost fell to tears when she said your about to part the ways after its all done. I mean just listen to the voices you hear of your companions when you talk with them. Man I love it
Exactly, this game destroys more "advanced" games like Skirim because it feels alive, it has essence, substance. Among so many, things like Alistair going apeshit and abandon you when he was most needed contribute to that feeling of life.

You sacrifice Alistair’s spot in your party. Just arrange the marriage between Alistair and Anora, so they may rule together, and defeat Loghain in battle yourself. Then agree to submit him to the joining. Voila, but, this of course means his tree will be so damn advanced, personally I don’t see the point (not to mention that I hate his arse and rather have Alistair get vengeance on him as my Cousland with Howe, but that’s just me).
The voice actress is Geraldine Blecker! To capture the ambiguity of Shale's gender, the voice actress's already gravelly voice was pitch-shifted down to sound deeper and more masculine!

You need to have +71 of friendship, then he stays with you after the battle with the crows.
