I feel like the writers just took this segment of the game and had as much fun as possible with it. There are few sections of DAO as hilarious as this.

Ok, Sten takes the gold prize in this video. xD He's so hilarious. Especially the: "The irony of this moment is not lost on me," since the Warden saved HIM from a cage hahaha oh boddy
"I thought for sure I'd at least have to try on the dress..." hahaha is that a callback to the beginning of the game when Alistair says he's not going to put on a dress for King Cailan
Which is extremely odd - as early in the game, one conversation you have with him is how he can't fathom women being warriors. I suppose he could have grown as a person since then... maybe.
Lol, they probably just kept an earlier save and continuously reloaded it. Nonetheless, it probably was still time consuming even if they didn't have to replay through the whole game each time!
Captured! It's after you try to save Anora, and instead of killing the guards, you surrender or lose against them. It can easily be bypassed, but it is by far one of the funniest quests in the game. Also, you can break out yourself.
I've missed this content in game not because I refuse to let myself get beaten by Ser Cauthrein, but because I've not thought that any of my Wardens would actually sit around and HOPE they got rescued in time to avoid being hanged. Maybe someday I will make a character that is less inclined to fight their way out of a bad situation...
I had a male dwarf commoner rogue who, instead of picking the lock on the cell (which he easily could have done) opted to flirt with the guard instead.... There are so many options and ways to get yourself out. Some are rather amusing.
Of all the funny scenes and dialogue, one stuck out and of course it was Sten and his bluntness that won 😂 ‘is this it? I thought it was supposed to be a fort!’ LOL

That was pretty good actually! "Nothing. Unless being hot counts." hahaha Sten: The Irony of this moment is not lost on me I LOVE Sten's extremely dry sense of humor. He cracks me up so much.

how do you get that extra dialogue at the end that happens if you break yourself out? I presume it was cut from the game, I escaped myself just for that dialogue and was quite disappointed to find out no one had anything to say regarding that
Hmm see? I never get this option. I let Wynne and the dog rescue me but they always shoot the ballistae they don't talk to the guys at all. Or I rescue myself. How do you get that? Is it because Alistair is with me? I am on a DA kick for some reason years later. Just to get different scenes.
***** Anyone able to talk to the 2 off duty guards. If I don't take the dog and Wynne no one else seems to get passed the door. If Wynne talks they can't get passed the door without fighting. The dog has to do all the acting. Apparently it must be my choice of duo's

Late, but well... The mods for their hairstyles are: tucked hair for wynne and more hairstyles for leliana. As for the headmorphs, Dana has used the toolset in order to change the shape of their faces. I hope it helps!

Subtle way of breaking the 4th wall (think Deadpool). You're the one "poking" her by clicking on her. As a joke, they have her assuming that Alistair or whomever is poking her. Since your created character isn't there, who would be getting her attention?
As a fully aware Grey Warden i do believe that the best option is: Be a dwarf - that way help will be sent to the dwarves to battle the darkspawn at the end Make Hardened Alistair king with Anora, make Loghain warden, Die at the end or sacrofice Loghain - Do not let an Old God survive, he may cause problems in future, maybe even another Blight With Warden Commander kill the Architect, he also may be causing many problems, making darkspawn sane, more organised, more tactical, it's dangeorous. Second game: nothing freackin matters, but seriously, besides Mage-Templar thing this game has nothing to offer Inqusition: Sacrofice Hawke, it doesn't matter who is the Warden commander, he needs to live and get the Wardens together

I never even considered that the "wait for rescue" option would result in anything. I always thought nothing would come of it so I never tried it.
