Idk people might just consider this sexist but as a man and only watching movies like Rambo, James Bond, Gladiator, Troy, Braveheart and etc… I just can’t watch stuff that isn’t about masculine essence, and stoicism, men who are brave and act as men and stand up to tyranny and corrupt government. I can’t stand watching most females do fighting and action. It’s just very unrealistic to me, especially when it comes to beating a bunch of weak pathetic males up. There are exceptions and good female movies but they are all pretty much older movies I like. Idk maybe it’s just a new time we live in and I can’t accept it. I just like our biology to stay the way they are, keep men acting like men and women acting like women. The genders have completely swapped roles and it annoys the heck outa me to see very pathetic non masculine males not be the men they need to be. And ever since Disney has made Star Wars every man has been a loser and a man who stands down to women. Mando was good the first season but eventually bowed down to Bo Katan. And to see all these women in Star Wars now be the ones playing the masculine role just bugs the shit out of me. I miss the old Star Wars when it was about a brotherhood of men who didn’t stand down as weaklings and stood up for themselves. Idk maybe I’m just sexist lol. I don’t hate women I just hate how they’ve treated men lately which could just be why I’m angry about it all.

I just don't understand why the Jedi would just abandon these people in their time of need, and break their promise no less. Isn't helping to end disturbances, feuds, and assaults across the galaxy exactly what the Jedi did?

Yeah if this is when the jedi are supposed to be at their peak then they would be helping people and keeping the peace. In the prequels it's a little different, like how the jedi did not help the slaves on Tatooine. But that would cause issues with Jabba and the other Hutts which you definitely don't want.

Honestly I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, it could be an interesting look into the hypocrisy of having your entire galaxy spanning government be completely run by an order of warrior monks who can only be a part of that group if they're born force sensitive
There are 2 plot leaks actually, theory only talks about the more detailed one which is very likely fake 😂 it is not in line at all with the trailer or what we know about the series, besides the sister part.
The sisters are actually going to be twins, both played by Amandla Stenberg, and by some other actress when they are younger. They are both part of a dark side cult (not Sith) when they are young. The Jedi attack this cult, and they kindnap one of the twins

I think there are two sisters and two acolytes. One gets drawn to the dark side (amanda) from a dark jedi (unknown masked character). That's the Acolytes plot. A darkness arises from light. Tenebrous breaks the rule of two from the cannon storyline. This ties in the synapses, the sith is building undercover.

Taking an idea from previous content and twisting it to fit your narrative when it already belonged to a perfectly good one is another. Somewhat jokes aside, I like how during the trailer the narration goes, "someone is killing Jedi", meanwhile every scene they show with the alleged assassin portrays her getting 'son'd' by the Jedi. If being incompetent is supposed to be threatening, then yeah, they nailed it.
I suspect that Mae (Amandla Stenberg) could be the sister that was left behind. It could just be the way the trailer was cut, but it looks like she is the one hunting Jedi. Furthermore, her fighting style seems unorthodox compared to a lot of what we've seen before.

The devillainization of classic fairy tale villains" Actually Frozen doesn't really de-villainize anyone. The Duke of Weasletown is pretty much a mustache twirling villain through and through. If she's referring to Elsa's exoneration -- Elsa was never a villain to begin with, at least not like the Evil Queen in Sleeping Beauty. Elsa was just a misunderstood girl who had some accidents and ran away. And as for Hans, that was a twist but that was a villainization, not a de-villainization.

If this is true I honestly don't think they will show the village stuff until closer to the end. As the main character discovers the truth about. Most likely she won't know a thing about it because she was too young. Then as the show progresses she will learn about it. Probably after a failed confrontation with the villain (her sister).

@@jeromevaleska2014 Only consistently good in the recent years have been the Clone Wars final season and the derivative projects with the same art style.(Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi).
Hell, even last year, Bad Batch was easily more entertaining than Mando s3 that took way too long to release and they dropped the ball completely.
@@_MaZTeR_ Clone Wars was never for me, but I can recognise it’s quality. It’s very well done, just not very well done for me, if that makes sense. I never got past the first couple episodes of Bad Batch Season 2, nor the first half of Mando Season 2. Loved Tales of the Jedi. Truth be told, I’m just so burned out on Star Wars at this point, the Acolyte trailer sealed the deal, which was a real shame because I thought the poster was simple yet amazing, and so smart. It set me higher expectations than I care to admit. To be honest, the only thing Star Wars that’s keeping me around right now is Andor, because it is fucking amazing. After that, who knows? Unless they pull their fingers out their asses and soon, maybe I’m done with Star Wars. I hate to see them ruining a franchise so dear to me.
