@24:00 I feel like the reason he didn't take the bounty rune is on purpose so that they don't spot the ward inside the camp. Obviously this is just my guesstimation, but they saw Nisha push the top wave and saw him back when they spawned and wanted to get back their outpost. Since they saw the bounty rune and one camp empty, they probably thought he just pushed the wave top and farmed one camp and back off so they couldn't ward. Also the fact that they kept two wards there and the camp ward didn't get dewarded for a long time compared to the cliff ward says something. They got to know when they were grouping up, farming or getting ready to rosh at that point.
too greedy, paying a substantial amount of gold only to slightly obfuscate his position on the map. who does he think he is!? obviously, a man as accomplished as bsj can't help but call out such tomfoolery
As a herald player that's probably going pro soon, I really appreciate the walk throughs and situational break downs. It's usually a lot to take in, but sometimes in a game I recall one thing from a BSJ vid and it makes such a huge impact whether it's a rotation or item choice. I think the biggest thing for me is how you always emphasize when NOT to engage or push, it's probably my biggest downfall, being too greedy for too long and not backing in time, or pushing a lane too far etc.
Dude, you have been doing the gods' honest lord's work here BSJ. Unreal how you have leveled up your instructional videos; this is some seriously fresh, never before seen shit in terms of DotA 2 education.
Secret were a great team, but at TI Nisha was 95% of what got them into the finals. He played out of his mind to get them there, and beating a very good Liquid squad with Matu and Micke. Now he comes to Liquid, pushes Micke to carry and Liquid beat Tundra 2-0. As of writing this, Liquid are 4-0 in their series, whilst Secret are 0-4 in the DPC. Nisha is the best player in the world.
While everyone is playing Dota 2, Nisha is playing Dota 2 Ultra Hard Mode carrying Secret. He is god now in flying Liquid. Hope they can win Ti this year because Nisha really deserves it.
"Sometimes there is just nothing good to do, and if you try to do something you're gonna die" Damn, perfect description of why I feel it's been so hard to get out of the 2k trench: it's to HARD to bounce back from a bad start because people get desperate for farm and kills and end up making stupid moves against a winning opponent and chain feed over and over again. Ofc, being 2k the winning team can always lose by the way of some epic throws, but the the trench lacks chill. There's nothing to win on the map, but there IS something to lose if you go out to farm some camps and die
I gotta say it, when I push myself from 1.8k into 5.5k the only variable was myself. Below divine, one guy literally playing really good is enough to win a game like you barely need any teammates. I mostly play carry but there were many games I had to play support due to role games. Basically, if you're stuck below divine I can 100% sure say you just need to get good. Learn how to snowball, cuz plebs don't know how to comeback and rake up the exp and gold.

@@Frnndio rtz was never the greatest player at any time. In fact I wonder how he was so popular since hes not even close to being a star player. I would say hes the weakest player from old EG.
Now, of course Nisha is one of the best players in the game, and some of the lessons BSJ noted here are definitely good, but I feel that it's easy to demonstrate that in hindsight i.e. know Nisha is a great player -> find a replay where his score is good -> spend the replay analysis talking about what he did well, knowing that the outcome is going to reflect positively on the player. I think it'll be a better segment if two games were analyzed, one with a good score and outcome, and another with a bad score and outcome. This is an awesome video with really nice insight on why the pros are pros. I was just wondering with you being part of liquid as a content creator: shouldn't you be able to get Nisha on board and ask him specifically what his thought process was for 1 or 2 key moments in the game? That I think would be next level.
Actually hes weakening his team mate Nisha by exposing him more than he already is. In dota people copy your ideas and you benefit from keeping them secret as long as you can. In Dota you cannot dominate with technical skill alone, you need to have good game ideas as well, which can be copied easyly, once understood.

As a herald player, I learn a lot from this video. Thank you very much. This is much better than just watching live/replay (for learning). Tonight I will copy how Nisha played. To my enemy! Watch and learn!

Most of the laning stuffs are common knowledge in divine ranks too, the difference is in the perfect execution elite players do. But laning stage 1v1 i believe even a divine player can have a fine laning stage against the elite players. For example: ima div 3, my friends are immortals 7-8k mmr, i fill the slots when they need a player, and i played Drow mid vs DK, and i SMASHED HIM.
