Same was really hoping to find the goal and it took a lot of effort. Honestly tho. It’s a decent goal, but cox made it sound way better than it actually was.... especially van der saars part in the goal. Was honestly kinda disappointed after his epic description
That Ajax put in misery a lot of top teams of today... A legendary team with a lot of future top class players that Ajax revealed from its inwards. They played great, technical and quick football that year. One of the best teams ever for sure.
yes, and AC Milan team with Maldini,Baresi, van Basten ,Gullit,Rijkaard, Ancelotti, Donadoni etc (1989-1994) ...it was this AJAX team that put a stop in 1995 final (1-0 for Ajax) of that formidable Milan team
had they stayed together for 3 more years, they would have had another 3 champions leagues in the bag. The team that reached the final in 96 and the semis in 97 had already been weakened.
If it's LvG you are thinking of, he is the dutch national side's coach. Whether that is a top job is arguably up for debate, but hey, it beats shelf stacking.
Not during the season he turned 19 in the summer of '95. But Rhine Horn might be right that was not his real age. So he might have been one or two years older. He was tall for his age when he made his debut for Ajax.
come here after read Zonal Marking - Michael Cox. Brilliant goal!

One of the greatest football squads .....EVER

what a team that was. Van der Sar, De Boer, Davids, Overmars... Bloody hell!
Seriously beautiful
That was sick
Here after reading Zonal Marking by Michael Cox
After the glorious seventies this was Ajax best squad.
perfection
exactly! Brilliant side.

Beautiful.

The composure from van de saar....
Nwankwo Kanu was 17 in 1993 when he arrived at ajax
And the other De Boer, Seedorf, Reiziger, Rijkaard, Finidi George, Litmanen, Kluivert and Kanu at the peak of his career (early 30s).
If it's LvG you are thinking of, he is the dutch national side's coach. Whether that is a top job is arguably up for debate, but hey, it beats shelf stacking.
its barcelona of the 90 s
Kas Bah you mean barca are the ajax of the 10s lol
Barcelona was also a great team in the 90's
Fuck you bastard!! It's was Barca who COPIED from Ajax bitch!
@@MicWarswhat ? That Ajax team was influenced by Cruyff's dream team in from 1988-1996
AJAX. Before it was marginalized bij the godawful modern football.
Dat counterattack tho
Just like watching Wimbledon in the old days ;-)
They never bought a single player from this team
Rijkaard came back from a champion team Milan
They recruited and trained everyone!
Danny Blind came from Sparta right?
Commentary was Endt's.
Sounds like David Endt? Beautiful goal indeed.
man utd gameplay next season... watch out... be scare
Hahaha Man Utd have never had a team as good as this one and never will.
njqnjq are you scare? man utd never have a good team? i guess you never watch football, how old are you? 10?
stanmavericks No he didn't say that Manchester 'never had a good team'. Don't put the wrong words in his mouth.
***** NOT a joke!
yes they had very good teams but not as good as ajax 1995 best team ever.
Finidi, Reiziger, Van der Sar, Reiziger, Litmanen, R de Boer, Davids, Blind, Overmars?
Danny blind, a centre back assisting that goal.. whottt
Ty no Frank de Boer use to be the centerback as a Libero (3 in the back) with Blind or Rijkaard in front of him as a DPL (Deeplying Playermaker)
Dont forget Kanu before his heart problem
This is how we do it! WZAWZDB!
That's Danny Blind who crossed that last ball to the scorer guess who his son is? United just signed him.
United signed Daley Blind, his son
***** Danny Blind, the ajax legend, is the one who played that match
And Daley Blind, his son, signed for Man. Utd ;)
read again!
+Sonny S He said that Danny Blind (the father) signed for United
wrong
Daley Blind (his son) signed for United
+Sonny S Oh yeezus
didn't see that one, sorry :P
Golaço
What footballers can't do right now.. play the ball forward

Kanu was born in 1976, ergo he was 19 in 1995. End of debate.
Not during the season he turned 19 in the summer of '95. But Rhine Horn might be right that was not his real age. So he might have been one or two years older. He was tall for his age when he made his debut for Ajax.
what are you talking about? kanu was a Young player then.
Danny Blind. Marc Overmars Scored.
ajax is vandaag de dag helemaal niks meer in vergelijking met toen.
we hadden bijna CL gewonnen 2019

Who was this goal against?
MVV
De zerbi
I think he was in his eary 20s. He changed his age and got heart problems hence the decline
Argentina need to play like this. Instead of imitating Barcelona style.
I love this Ajax team but this kind of total football just wouldn’t hold up in the modern era against a counter press lol
