    yesterday i watched a diy hobo 1 penny arizona can stove and now today i get this in my home front page.....google knows much more about my future than the tarot card reader

      Yep, same here. Arizona tea can alcohol stove and a pre 1982 penny video started it all for me. Guess i'll be watching alcohol stove videos for awhile =)

    That last stove was a RUCAS stove & it is the best alcohol stove in my estimation. Of course Taras & outdoor gear review guy (Luke) totally agree, so I'm in good company.

    I build alcohol stoves out of beer/soda cans much cheaper and easier to replace if damaged or lost.

    Taras I made a small alcohol stove out of 2 coke cans and I put it inside the crusader cooking unit, it’s really efficient boils water very quickly and the whole cooking system fits nicely in a pouch on my bag it will be great for you heating MRE’s in the metal mug

    I really like the first one for camping...you could easily carry several so you could cook many foods at once plus it seems to be the most stable...it would take more to accidentally knock thst one over

    The coolest stove is the Trangia Spirit burner. Pocket sized but very hot and easy to use.

    @Taras Kul < i have been playing with alco stoves for a while now.
    what i notice is the cool blue flame, however when you cook or boil water ,
    the alco stove (methospirits) tends to leave a brown residue on pots or pans.
    Other than that, I really enjoyed your video. :)

    Blue flame is much hotter. Orange and yellow flames will make heavy carbon deposits on the cooking vessel. I like cast iron better than aluminum. Stainless is okay but tranfers heat very slowly. Once hot cast iron retains heat best.

    This is good to have around . In america some of our states have had utility blackouts .
    Our stove is electric .
    It would be great if we had an electric blackout to be able to put one of these alcohol burners on on the stove top and still be able to cook.

    Nice. Ok. So. Put ground coffee right into the boiling water. The coffee grounds sink to bottom. Easy cowboy coffee.
