I'd like to agree with you... But. Wait till the left leaning media gets ahold of this, just like they did to Jason Aldean... They will shred it and denegrate the hell out of it. The Karen's and commies will definitely bitch about it. I promise you this. They take anything like this as a THREAT.. instead of a wake up.

Just a guy in the woods singing from his soul...and it blows away the garbage being made in multi-million dollar studios today. Really a wake up call to people, and as someone who regularly works 60+ hours a week, I feel every word he's saying.

I hope they don't destroy his music by over-production like they did with Melanie Safka. Different genres but very identical styes of singing: Strong, powerful and raw. Both with excellent musical, singing and writing skills.
Over-orchestration or over-production will destroy the pure blues roots of this music. Bluesy country with raw soul. This is a historical throw-back to the source of blues, and people are being connected to it. I hope that doesn't change.

They've had more than a century to dig in, figure out the limitations of the system, and exploit it. What happens when the masses finally figure out voting isn't actually their choice rather than a multi choice question with only failing answers?
I agree with you, less than half your ages, and I agree that these next few elections will be the last ones with actual choice on the ballot.
10 years maybe and they're desperate to make sure they gain back the control they had until recently since WW2.

I've been sellin' my soul, workin' all day
    Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away
    [Pre-Chorus]
It's a damn shame what the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is

    Livin' in the new world
    With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don't think you know, but I know that you do
'Cause your dollar ain't shit and it's taxed to no end
'Cause of rich men north of Richmond
    [Verse 2]
I wish politicians would look out for miners
And not just minors on an island somewhere
Lord, we got folks in the street, ain't got nothin' to eat
    And the obese milkin' welfare
    [Verse 3]
    Well, God, if you're 5-foot-3 and you're 300 pounds
Taxes ought not to pay for your bags of fudge rounds
Young men are puttin' themselves six feet in the ground
'Cause all this damn country does is keep on kickin' them down
    [Pre-Chorus]
Lord, it's a damn shame what the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is
    [Chorus]
    Livin' in the new world
    With an old soul

They ain't the same and I hope that the false equivalence that people feel the need to make, falls away with the tsunami of truth that is out there, and accessible on most outlets not named OAN, Fox, Newsmax and the like.

Nah. All he did was parrot right wing talking points, punching down at welfare recipients and blaming taxation instead of the massively obvious elephant in the room- that capitalism has been suppressing wages since the Reagan administration while also raising prices on everything. Of course right wingers want you mad at taxes instead of capitalists, it keeps your eye off the obvious truth that they have been bleeding the middle class into non existence for the last 40 years.

Yeah my man, I can tell you the change started happening in the late 90s when shareholders were put ahead of workers and it's purely become about profits for the people who already have money. 1 salary could look after a family your size and a vocation once a year.
Now most families need both partners to work and they worse off then a partner with 1 salary over 30 years ago
