Great museum! I was on a crew that did the install for the first floor and basement speakeasy renovation. I also built the information desk and the bars on the box office windows in the lobby!
The look on your face when you drank the moonshine, classic, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone’s face turn red that quickly!!! Thanks for a least trying it in the name of touring science:)
I’ve mentioned this before Jacob but wanted to say thanks again i’m 57 years old and was a very active person my whole life in my late 40s i suffered a major Stroke during a surgery that left me partially paralyzed and dependent on using a cane and custom made leg braces to walk because of all the newer regulations for flying and my disabilities it makes it way difficult to travel long distances , i do have a fascination with Organized Crime i would like to visit this Museumn but it has become. just to difficult to accomplish. thankfully The Carpet Bagger does travel to these places and makes videos for me to enjoy in the comfort of my home so thankyou
An earlier and smaller version of this museum was inside the old Tropicana hotel. It was very interesting; I'm glad the museum got relocated and updated. No moonshine samples were given at the Tropicana.
I like how you act like our dad and cover the graphic stuff with your hand even though we already saw it lol It really feels like we're there with you. Thanks for another great vid!
I’m in a public history class this semester and we had a guest speaker from this museum call in to talk about her job. I really hope I can go one day, it looks so cool.
i’m going through all your videos now as a lifelong resident and i love seeing your reactions!! we actually held my senior prom at the mob museum. i’ll never forget that. my boyfriend at the time and i left the group to go and spend time just looking at everything.
That was a very interesting tour. The look on your face when you drank that 1st shot of moonshine. Funny how they were tasting better as you went along. LOL Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
Thank you so much! I genuinely didn't know what to put on the list of where i want to go to when me and my family go to Las Vegas in October. I'm so excited!
I have done the mob museum multiple times and loved it each time. also the speak easy in the basement is amazing. they have some really great prohibition era cocktails. also the moonshine was really good.
My mom and I went to the museum just two days after my birthday and the day before Valentine's Day. How fitting. It was such a memorable experience, sadly we didn't visit the crime lab nor the The Underground, but it was still fun. My dad is coming down next month so I'm hoping that we all would go the museum, that is if the state doesn't go on full lockdown until then.
Great museum. I went there when I went to Vegas. I was in there for hours. I have always been fascinated by the mafia and old time gangsters such as Al Capone and Bugsy Siegel.
Looking forward to this and more of your time in Vegas as you upload more from that trip. Still laughing at you roasting the dirty room at the Strat then leaving. I'm so glad no one was standing right there when you walked in!
@@agerven I know there's been a few. I'm not going to list them all out. pretty proud to be in the area where the giant wine bottle is located right by Albany/Latham where I am.
We didn’t get to go the Mob Museum when we were on holidays from Australia but after seeing your video we will definitely visit this fantastic place. Just found your channel & have subscribed. Fantastic. First time we have seen someone doing such an awesome UA-cam clip there. 👍
So much mob history so interesting 🤔 cheers Jacob you make it interesting when talking about the era of it but when you drank that shot of moonshine your face so so funny ilarious 🤣🤣🤣
The Spy Museum in Washington DC also is using touch pens instead of shutting their touch exhibits down. The rubber part of mine broke off by the end though lol.
Such a good museum!, I still have a few mini bottles of moonshine from there. I’m really happy they removed the filming ban in there as when I went there in last year in March I wasn’t allowed to.
I really needed a Carpetbagger video today. It's been a rough one and your videos always lift me up. Thank you, Jacob. Had a lot of fun laughing about Bucca De Beppo in the live stream last night.
I don’t drink also , but when in Rome bring you’re bathing suit , when in Vegas bring you’re bank roll and when in California drive you’re Bentley ha ha ha
Love this video! I want to go to this museum lol! I love true crime. It's so fascinating and interesting to see how the mob works. I've heard that the mob donates money to St. Jude for children with cancer. I don't care how they get it. I just want it to be for a good cause lol. And those slot machines are awesome. They don't make it like that anymore. Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
Great video. The ginger jake was especially notorious. As the "gentleman" selling it very quickly discovered it had the toxin, they continued to sell it to their distributors. They not only made no effort to help the end customers. But also left their distributors in the dark as well figuring some would stop selling it and may tell. Which is why it took awhile to stop while they tracked down the source.
You're the best jacob, shitty that I never see you interact with your loyal followers in the comment section but I know that you are busy with family when not posting, I've been here since under 40 thousand subbers, take care bagger, great episode
I have a book called "When the Mob Ran Vegas". Picked it up on a whim a few years ago on one of the bargain tables at Barnes & Noble. Actually a very interesting read. Some crazy stories.
The Mob Museum is fun especially with the host that play certain charters I was a guided host and really didnt need change my name to fit as it is DELUCA so I fitted right in
Great museum! I was on a crew that did the install for the first floor and basement speakeasy renovation. I also built the information desk and the bars on the box office windows in the lobby!
The distillery in the basement the best part I enjoyed that very much when I went.
The look on your face when you drank the moonshine, classic, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone’s face turn red that quickly!!! Thanks for a least trying it in the name of touring science:)
Ya it when to white to RED. Lol
Like Donald Duck drinking Cachaca come to life 😂
the first one i already know he drank white lightning thats the stuff that puts hair on a mans chest.lol.

I love these museums, as you learn a lot of interesting facts there.
As you leave there's a tuff guy named Tony who tells you "you didnt see nuttin"
Don't worry about the supposed blood on the wall. Real blood turns black pretty quickly. It only stays red in movies and TV.
Dried blood looks like beef jerky.
I think they cleaned the blood and painted it red to let people know where they got shot
An earlier and smaller version of this museum was inside the old Tropicana hotel. It was very interesting; I'm glad the museum got relocated and updated. No moonshine samples were given at the Tropicana.
Carpetbagger doing shots....the video is about to get a little more exciting
🤪🤣
Thank you so much for sharing. Love that you gave great details. Will be visiting the museum.
I like how you act like our dad and cover the graphic stuff with your hand even though we already saw it lol It really feels like we're there with you. Thanks for another great vid!

Thank you for sharing this. Please take care of yourself.
I'm going to Vegas for my birthday in a couple weeks definitely checking this museum out thanks for the vid
YES! I'm so glad the Las Vegas videos are still coming! Hope you're relaxing at home with the family. 💗
There’s a bar in the basement you can go to you just gotta go to the door and knock on it and also know the password for that day.
No
I live in Vegas, and been to the museum, it gives great experiences, also people can take mugshots if they’d like.
i’m going through all your videos now as a lifelong resident and i love seeing your reactions!! we actually held my senior prom at the mob museum. i’ll never forget that. my boyfriend at the time and i left the group to go and spend time just looking at everything.

Went there back in January...possibly the best museum I've ever been to
What a great museum. I like that it’s interactive. I’ll have to check it out next time I’m In Vegas 👍

What a fantastic museum! Thanks Jacob!

I have done the mob museum multiple times and loved it each time. also the speak easy in the basement is amazing. they have some really great prohibition era cocktails. also the moonshine was really good.
I had the same reaction when I tried moonshine!
My mom and I went to the museum just two days after my birthday and the day before Valentine's Day. How fitting. I just found this channel today. And I can't stop watching. Please keep more videos coming so I can fule my addiction.
Very educational museum;
Great museum. I went there when I went to Vegas. I was in there for hours. I have always been fascinated by the mafia and old time gangsters such as Al Capone and Bugsy Siegel.
We were there a few years ago. We're going back to LV in the fall and we will definitely return to the museum....a lot of new things!!!
Your face was classic when you did that shot 😂
Went here 3 years ago , super cool experience looks like they’ve renovated a bit since I’ve been !
Thanks Jacob!

Looking forward to this and more of your time in Vegas as you upload more from that trip. Still laughing at you roasting the dirty room at the Strat then leaving. I'm so glad no one was standing right there when you walked in!
Always wondered what this museum was like . Thanks for the vlog ...loved it !!!
Those tiny cups seems like a mob communion lol
The look you had drinking moonshine was priceless 😂🤣
definitely one of the coolest museums vegas has to offer. also that moonshine will destroy you lol
I recall seeing the Tanked episode where they installed the fish tank. It was def pretty crazy getting in down there.
I was just wondering about that. Would expect there are some more locations in Vegas that have aquaria from Tanked.
@@agerven I know there's been a few. I'm not going to list them all out. pretty proud to be in the area where the giant wine bottle is located right by Albany/Latham where I am.

Great museum! Thanks for taking us along! This will be on my list once I make it back out to Vegas!
Love this place. We went at first to see if we could find any family members in the old photos. Please enjoy.
Thank you for your down to earth aditude with your genuine perspective and humour of your journeys. You are are a decent human being.

Proud of you Jacob!!! Literally taking a shot for the team!!!
Absolutely on my list next time I get to Las Vegas! Can't wait to do a trip there for my channel :) Thanks for the tour!

I say the lock picking tool & key were freakier than anything!

If you go to the Oprymill mall in Nashville, TN. You can try all kinds of moonshine there as well
Loved this museum a must see!
I have a book called "When the Mob Ran Vegas". Picked it up on a whim a few years ago on one of the bargain tables at Barnes & Noble. Actually a very interesting read. Some crazy stories.
8:45: That's the tank that was built for the museum in an episode of Tanked.
Thank you once again for the great video 🐱📸
