I’ve never been to the Magical Forest, but the nonprofit that runs it, Opportunity Village, does some really awesome work for developmentally disabled adults.
The little gift shop in there also sells crafts made by them as well and its all for their nonprofit...We went to their Halloween event 3 years ago when I still lived in Las Vegas , took my Girlfriend there for the first time...she ended up buying tons of stuff in there because they had cute handmade stuff for cheap...then we went back for the Christmas event and she bought a ton again lol
Kinda reminds me of Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee that grants wishes for terminally ill children and their families...all inclusive. The grounds of the village are similar to Magical Forest. Ty for sharing!
Can we just take a second to acknowledge the fact that Jacob literally had a whole theme park to himself...and they even ran some rides for him and ONLY him?!? I AM SO JEALOUS!!! lol
The Magical Forest sounds like a great organization and i loved the variety in the park. The Monster museum seems to get better and better every time you visit, i don't really gamble but i want to go to Vegas for Meow Wolf and The Monster Museum alone!
Great selection of places today!. A behind the scenes of a local fairground to revisiting a fantastic home grown roadside attraction and a review of the latest in hotel lamp technology. This is what makes your channel so special. Highlighting the smaller places that keep the dream alive!
wow that monster museum is awesome, has all my favorites! I love movies with little creatures. Poultrygeist we watch every thanksgiving along with thankskilling lol
As a Las Vegan, I'd like to thank you for doing this series. The city is hurting, and every bit of attention - especially showing all the cool stuff beyond the Strip - helps.
You have to eat at the coffee cup in boulder city! It's amazing! Also I'm one of the bus drivers that takes clients to the opportunity villages in town haha
Stopped everything and clicked when I got this notification. I'm so grateful for the philanthropic sacrifices highlighted in this video. Your spirit and joy are very restorative. Thank you, Jacob. 🙂 p.s. Trilogy of Terror made a permanent scar on my psyche.
So much to enjoy watching in this vlog Jacob, Tom Devlin’s monster museum was just amazing, loved all the monsters, but holy crap those clowns scare the you know what outta me 😬, round of applause to the man who cleaned the toilets for the male workers at The Hoover Dam, what a job 🤢, Jacob that view was fantastic, and really fab room, nice, glad these vlogs will continue cos they’ve been so fun to watch and the magical forest was amazing as well, Thankyou x 🤗
Monster Musuem is on my bucket list. How can you not love this place. Ive seen every character hes has ib that Musuem Ive seen the movie. As A True Horror Fan this place needs to be National Landmark Musuem ❤
Best Vlog of Vegas. I watch a lot of Vegas content and you nailed it. I go to Vegas and Laughlin several times a year and you have shown me things I have never seen before and now I have exciting new things to do the next time I'm out that way.
My husband and I think we saw you crossing the street to the Bellagio tonight. Wish we would have known you were still in town, would be great to meet you! Love the videos!
I always thought of vegas as a place where you go to lose money. Thanks to you i know better. Lots to do. Thanks so much. Too bad mrs bagger didnt come with you. God bless.
It was great that he showed you around ,died laughing when he said they lube it to much and people flew out the exit.Great video again Jacob always empressed with all your videos
22:02 - In the words of zombie Captain America “I get that! I get that reference!” 🖐 I also love how quickly you turn off the High Voltage box! That would be me in that situation!
What a great concept the magical forest is. I'm glad they invited you out to see their setup. Tom Devlins is always cool. A couple of those movies I have not seen. Not too sure I want to. LOL The room looks comfortable . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
I remember a scary movie when I was a kid that freakin rocked my world...it was a low-budget B movie, but as a child it was terrifying..Its called "The Town that Dreaded Sundown"
Says a lot more about my character than I care to admit to, I suppose, but I choked laughing when your tour guide said people flew through the exit gates. Please forgive me karma.
That room looked awesome, and when are you and Annabelle gonna be doing more videos together, she is a very bright young lady, and your a great father to her, keep these great videos coming
The Exorcist, still one of the all time scariest movies of all time. No modern movie can match it. Damn movie gave me crazy nightmares, but still have to catch it when it comes on tv. The unedited directors cut of course. Where she is doing the backwards crawl down the stairs. Gives me damn goosebumps talkin about that part of the movie.
Omg I'm in love with the Monster Museum's version of Zoltar!🙋♀️ And that's a very nice hotel, the city view is very beautiful. Glad that the extra $10 you had spent for the view was not becoming a waste😁💓
Loved the tour of Magical Forest! Cool to see the railroad and shop. And yes carousels are suspended, usually with enough room above and below for the poles that move. 12:20 likely a restored railroad "speeder" which many hobbyists have. They take them to museums and abandoned lines where they can give rides. There are several videos on YT just search railroad speeder.
I built a bunch of props for the movie Wishmaster. The trough they pour lava down to make the gem, and the crane control that gets coffee spilt on it, are two I remember off hand. A really cool one was these spikes that looked like they broke through the ground with a guy hanging upside down over in a straitjacket. But there was a problem that they didn't notice until it was developed. It looked like water was shooting out his head from the fountain in the background. So they reshot the scene with a Houdini water torture cell they rented from a prop house.
Those “go karts” are actually pedal carts offered by Rail Explorers they have a location up by the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown also in Portsmouth RI,St Phoenicia NY, and Boulder City NV.. might make a sweet video if you pick one of the east coast locations since you have to pedal it yourself..that Vegas heat must be brutal at that location!
Wow Jacob, what a brilliant video, I would love to go to the monster museum, love the chucky dolls, I'm waiting for the shops to open again then I'm having a four foot chucky, brilliant thank you
The blueberry almonds are very good. The coconut flavored ones are really good too! Thank you for your videos, my family loves to watch your videos! Thanks, Alicia
Carpetbagger when everything is back to normal and the world is completely opened can you do traveling videos of going to Europa Park and Rulantica in Germany as a new thing. It will be a unique experience for your channel.
Christine C. Will quit being so paranoid and pessimistic we survived pandemics before and got our normal lives back like the Spanish Flu and The Swine Flu before we’ll get out of this one can’t you have faith in mankind and the world. Sheesh it’s like your whining nonstop about this pandemic and given up all hope this isn’t the end of the world gosh have you ever stopped to realize that your self-pitying yourself and acting like a Debby Downer ( or a downer in general).
Michael Steffen I’m glad we see eye to eye with each other. Also in the Eurotrip I hope he’ll do other theme parks like Bellewaerde, Wailbi Belgium, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Terra Mitca, Chessington World Of Adventure and Disneyland Paris. I like the way you think Michael who knew we had the same great ideas for new trips for Carpetbagger. We’ve got a thing in common after all😊. Also I hope he does Merlin Entertainment theme parks too in his Eurotrip.
Nice Simpsons reference. Lol! The ferris wheel is the High Roller at the Linc. Takes about 45-60 minutes to go around, i think. Rode it in '17 when I was there. If you pay extra, there are cars with an open bar in them offering limited mixed drinks and beer. All you can drink on the way around.
I've been watching your adventures for several years. Many places I've been to. Have you ever been to the Fishing Hall Of Fame in Hayward Wisconsin? With the big fish statues and the Muskie building? If not. You should check it out. Also the Concrete Statue Park near Phillips Wisconsin. Iron Mountain Michigan has the Old Iron Mine tour. 👍
I’ve never been to the Magical Forest, but the nonprofit that runs it, Opportunity Village, does some really awesome work for developmentally disabled adults.

that is wonderful! i will add it to my bucket list of places to stop by. thanks as usual carpetbagger for sharing!
I AM SO JEALOUS!!! lol
Yea cudos to the staff for not being Jerks
The guide for the Magical Forest was very pleasant.
Yes he was and really nice to invite Jacob in for a private tour. I hope he plans to go back for Christmas!!!
That Trilogy of Terror doll is the scariest thing I have ever seen in the movies. My friends and I were all traumatized by it. Nightmares even today.
Me too. I used to be scared to take a shower because of that scene in the TOT movie.
I Believe Karen Black Scared a Whole generation of Scared Cats...😭😭😭
Thank god for carpetbagger
🙂👍👋
This series has been awesome. I'll miss it, but I'm looking forward to the next adventure
Monster museum gets cooler every time
The Magical Forest sounds like a great organization and i loved the variety in the park. The Monster museum seems to get better and better every time you visit, i don't really gamble but i want to go to Vegas for Meow Wolf and The Monster Museum alone!
Magical Forest....I love behind the scenes stuff! Oh to be a kid again!!!!
I'm still thinking about that A-1 steak sauce flavored nut mix, that Jacob got on his Dixie highway trip.
Lol I was thinking the same thing 😂
Great selection of places today!. A behind the scenes of a local fairground to revisiting a fantastic home grown roadside attraction and a review of the latest in hotel lamp technology. This is what makes your channel so special. Highlighting the smaller places that keep the dream alive!

Jacob, you find the coolest place!! The Monster Museum was great!!! You grow my visit list with everywhere you go!! Thank you so much!!
If you see Snyders pretzel pieces Honey Mustard and Onion flavor, try those too!
They're the best
Every time I see those I think about being drunk in college laying in bed eating those circa 2011
yep those are good!
Snyders are the best! Love those stupid things.
I live 10 minutes from Snyder’s. At their factory store they basically give them away. 50 cents a bag.
It's so cool how this park is community sponsored, and it helps a good cause!!
Tom Devlin has really stepped up is game since I saw the museum last! Looks good!
I thought the $10 strip view up charge was going to be a, "What happens in Vegas" moment for a second there.
The wasabi almond addiction is real. 😂
🙂👍👍
Just tried some, they are so good
@@TheCarpetbagger cool, is there sugar in them?
Glad I’m not the only one!
You have to eat at the coffee cup in boulder city! It's amazing! Also I'm one of the bus drivers that takes clients to the opportunity villages in town haha
Who else is excited during this pandemic to see Jacob's uploads?!?! It's like Christmas
You have to check out Magical Forest when it is all lit up and running, it really is... "Magical"!
Whoa, blueberry almonds??? Have to find these!!!
Same here! Although I don’t like spicy stuff so I couldn’t do wasabi almonds
@@Inamichan me neither
I was hanging out with tom in Charlotte then again this past weekend in Atlanta, cant wait to see his museum
OMG sorry for double posting but you and the lamps had me cracking up big time! Love it! 😆🤣
Yes! Creepshow, Critters, all of my favorite horror flicks as a kid!
Stopped everything and clicked when I got this notification. I'm so grateful for the philanthropic sacrifices highlighted in this video. Your spirit and joy are very restorative. Thank you, Jacob. 🙂

OMG I got a response from the Carpetbagger! 💗

How can you pass up the dragon on the carrousel? That one's always taken when I get on.
I need to spend a weekend in this hotel with my boyfriend and this view, love it!
Monster Musuem is on my bucket list. How can you not love this place. Ive seen every character hes has ib that Musuem Ive seen the movie. As A True Horror Fan this place needs to be National Landmark Musuem ❤
The hills have eyes is an amazing movie. You should definitely watch it.
Best Vlog of Vegas. I watch a lot of Vegas content and you nailed it. I go to Vegas and Laughlin several times a year and you have shown me things I have never seen before and now I have exciting new things to do the next time I'm out that way.
When I stayed at Bally’s I had a street view right next to sign out front. Heard We Will Rock you all night.
My husband and I think we saw you crossing the street to the Bellagio tonight. Wish we would have known you were still in town, would be great to meet you! Love the videos!

The Critters can combine to be a giant man-eating ball of fur, it doesn't get scarier than that!
22:02 - In the words of zombie Captain America “I get that! I get that reference!” 🖐
I also love how quickly you turn off the High Voltage box! That would be me in that situation!
The most important thing to me with hotels is clean and safe. You have seen hotels this trip that lack one or the other. This hotel seems to have both
Didn't really see any of those horror films but enjoyed the tour.
I liked that magical forest reached out to you to show you what they do. It sounds really neat what they do.
It would be so cool to attend Toms academy! Great video. 👍

we use to have that chef statue in front of what we use to call the smoke house in Forks Wa.
The Blue Diamond Almond Wasabi/Soy Sauce flavor is the best!!

I never heard of Trilogy Of Terror , looks like I now have something to watch this weekend

I’m glad you’re having fun out there! Maybe we’ll see you in florida in the future ?
Hope your staying at the cosmopolitan. It has really cool hidden areas and things to do throughout the resort.
Omg I'm in love with the Monster Museum's version of Zoltar!🙋♀️
And that's a very nice hotel, the city view is very beautiful. Glad that the extra $10 you had spent for the view was not becoming a waste😁💓
Las Vegas looks SO beautiful at night!
I've talked to dozens of people and We All are Scared of that doll..😲😲😲🤭🤭🤭
Ah cool! Killer Klowns from Outer Space, I love that movie.
Thanks for taking me with you to Vegas, I enjoyed it! Lets do this again :)
That looks exactly like the carousel that used to be in our local mall. So it was interesting to see the inside of it.
I love how you quickly verified the extra $10 was for a View of the strip and not a different sort of strip 😂😂😂 Wonderful episode 😊
Tom Devlin's Monster Museum is so scary, I would have loved to have been there too! Wow! 💀👍
Loved the tour of Magical Forest! Cool to see the railroad and shop. Those blueberry almonds sound so good! Also, one big monster so you have less to keep track of. Lol
I built a bunch of props for the movie Wishmaster. The trough they pour lava down to make the gem, and the crane control that gets coffee spilt on it, are two I remember off hand. I think there is a walkway that connects Bally's to Paris where there is a lot of "theme-ing".
Blueberry almonds are soooo good! Hard to find tho, I usually order them from Amazon.

Gremlins 1 & 2 is a Christmas Tradition in my house haha
Evil Dead will be my Ride or Die for life.
It’s probably late but you should try the Golden Steer Steakhouse in Vegas.
You should visit any of the museums in Chicago, as a suggestion.
_"I love you Dr. Zaius!"_
Thank you Carpetbagger xD
I like seeing toms museum on here.
So cool! Beautiful view
Don't forget to eat at Blueberry Hill before you leave Las Vegas! Oreo panckaes!!!!
Blueberry almond. It sounds a little sweet and a little savory. Sounds good
Jacob you didn't check the toilet ...
That's my favourite bit of the room check 😁😁

Love the view from your hotel room
I love those zoltar machines! There are a ton in St Augustine FL. too
This is by far the nicest hotel you’ve stayed in yet! I’d take a trip to Vegas just to stay in this hotel room lol
The blueberry almonds are wonderful!!
Cool museum!
The signs in Boulder city is giving me fallout vibes.

And eat at foodloop 😉, yes he definitely should make an europetrip someday😃
It will never go "back to normal" as long as people's fear can be used to control them.

Whenever i hear "boulder city" and "Hoover dam" all i can think of is Fallout New Vegas
Where my fellow New Vegas fans at
I came down here to say the same thing. and it is cool to see some of the casinos that the in game ones are based off

7 Layer Dip flavored Combos
Yes! The 7-Layer Dip Combos are up there with the frito twists as a top-tier road trip snack.

They should do this year round to help them out!
LOVING this Vegas series!
