If Tua is healthy they will make the playoffs. If not, another lost season prior to Tua’s arrival. This team is built around Tua’s skill set. He is my guy. Like Dan the Man back in the day.
tough to play in this specific offense that's anchored by the philosophy of hiding the OLine because to efficiently run it you need fast processing, quick trigger, high anticipation, and great accuracy. the backups look worse than they are because of this. that offense is easier to break by playoff teams. gotta get that OLine to be dominant, not passable.
@@gabestackson4476 struggle to pick up short yardage? Minimal push, against a Washington DLine not playing their starters, and your assessment is… “they looked great”? Hey, you assess the game how you want to and i’ll assess it how i want to. Stats, film, and history leans more with my assessment. Maintain your optimism, I don’t want to throw shade on your shine.
From what I'm seeing if they go 25 players on offense it will be: QB: Tua, Skylar FB: Ingold RB: Mostert, Achane, Wright, Brooks WR: T. Hill, Waddle, OBJ, Cracraft, Berrios, Malik Washington TE: Jonnu, Smythe, Julian Hill OT: Armstead, Jackson, Paul, Lamm OG: Wynn, Jones, Cotton C: Brewer, Eichenberg They could put M. Washington on the Practice Squad and keep Ezukanma as the #6 WR. I think Driscoll has a outside chance he has showed some position versatility. Cotton was in with the 1s blocking for Tua, he probably makes it just because he was here last year and played a lot of snaps in this system.
David Long injury just another sign from above to slim Jaelen Phillips down to a svelte 255 and move him to ILB. He has all the attributes, the tenaciousness and the motor to be a run stuffing beast, a destroyer blowing up screens and blitzing QBs and the athleticism to grow into an adequate guy in coverage, at the very least. I also think he'd add fire to the defense as the captain, the playcaller and the heart pumping the blood into each cell of that unit.
Man people hate on Tua, but the boy's got mustard...Sure maybe isnt one of TOP Qb's, but def better than anything the DOlphins have had in that position in decades...He needs to work on his improv....Good defenses will take away that quick release, and he needs to learn how to make plays off script..But looking good so far..
That's the NFL, even Brady got hate towards the end. If the QB doesn't win the SB every year they suck and need to be replaced. That's how fans view football now. Tua's got the fastest release time in the NFL with elite accuracy and lead the league in passing yards. He wins 60% of his games, has a 97.1 career passer rating, over 2-to-1 TD/INT ratio(81TDs vs 37INTS) and a 88.4 PFF grade last year. Replacing Tua would be a huge risk, just look at SF they whiffed on Trey Lance a #3 overall pick and they hit on Brock Purdy the last guy in the draft. It's very difficult to find a franchise QB, Dolphins had to pay Tua.
Triple championship in Miami. You heard it here first. Just like the Heat people love to hate and down dolphins/Tua. This is our year, get the champagne ready now gang.
I thought Tua looked good- I am a bit concerned with the backup situation- I didn’t see much progress from Skylar, if I had to choose today I think I would take White.
Maannn do i want Skylar Thomson and Mike White gone. I have yet to see them get more than one TD pass in their entire dolpins career. They are completely useless backups.
No, he could be behind Mike White and they just want to give him an extra look to be sure. Just because was coming in at the QB 2 spot in that game isn’t telling .. I don’t believe. They both stink so it doesn’t really matter .. Tua goes down and you can call it a season.
It was a half yard behind him and hit him on the outside shoulder (to be fair I guess it was a bit deflected)! Truth is neither one of these guys are good enough … potato - pototo
Hopefully the O line can protect Tua this year!!! 🙏🏼
The line could never protect Tua he only survived due to the snap and spot throw in 2 secs offense last year
The look better in the beginning of the game i like what I seen

TOBIN THEY SELL STUFFED PENGUINS WITH A WADDLE JERSEY NOW
YOU’VE BEEN WANTING THESE FOR YEARS !!
(I was at the game tonight)
Tobin should get royalties lol
Goooosies!
Great gets in the draft to help bolster that d line love too see it
Our backup QBs whew... please no more Tannerhill talks we have gone past that ..
As a backup tannehill will do good he can take us to the playoffs unlike Mike white Skylar good when he wants to be
Lol@@Mars-dj7ey
@@Mars-dj7eySkylar and Mike White never played a good game in their life
He’s better than either of these two clowns .. by far.
Skylars almost throws are beautiful if he was just a bit more accurate(not all his fault these guys gotta make catches) he would be a great qb

It’s preseason buddy calm down
@@gabestackson4476 my assertion is based on the 2 years prior of this type of offense. So far, it’s leaning to what i’ve said.

I was happy for Brooks- always been a big fan- I saw he got hit and was taken out- is he ok? Did Wright play last night?

It was a far from perfect drive, but Tua threw a DIME for the TD, and all without Hill and Waddle.
Skylar has too much happy feet
These back up qb took that long to get one touchdown

How Hell Skylar REGRESS 😂
He’s trash af
They should have drafted a rookie in one of the later rounds to at least put pressure on him to improve.
He always play with backups
@@gabestackson4476 Technically Tua was playing with mostly backups as well. No Hill, Waddle, OBJ, Armstead, Wynn or Brewer yesterday.

Mike is in the hotseat this season. Dolphins stay focused and hungry this season, ignore the distractions and focus on your assignment.
He is throwing the ball to nobodies of course
What's up with the hard to spell and say names/ Is the N.F.L scouting Wakanda?
No but your wife is.
