You don't seem to know anything about this era....The breakdance (bboy) scene in the 80s became a global phenomenon due to the NuYoricans (New York Puerto Ricans) not the blacks. The Puerto Ricans were also behind graffiti art in this time period. And this type of music was not black music - there were whites, latinos (mainly Puerto Ricans but others also) and blacks involved. Lesson over.
