Thank you for watching. This is the hold down bracket that is located where the battery sits in the battery tray. You will need to look down the side of the battery.
question, I work in a area where i do these replacements and our computers tell us these batteries have to be registered, what is that process is that a real thing?
Thanks for watching. Some vehicles do require a registration process after battery replacement. We would recommend contacting your mechanic or dealer to see if your vehicle does need a registration process.
Thank you for watching. I would double check to make sure the hold down is removed. If you do not see anything else around the base of the battery keeping it from coming up I would consult your mechanic or dealer.
@@TheBatteryShop Your video only shows a close up of the hold down without perspective on where it is located. I went to my car and initially could not determine where the hold down bracket is. However, after looking carefully at your video again, I was able to determine it was in front of the battery. It might have been helpful to have labeled this too.
Thank you for the great video! It was exactly what we needed.
Hi - Your welcome and thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
What’s that equipment you used to get rid of the bracket?
@@denniseverling9729hubby was able to use a 12mm wrench to remove the bracket, and it worked well just like in the video
1:30 where are you ever looking, it’s not clear where that can be located at all
