Remy Lamberts I will add that as a sound minimalist that is about as intricate of a solo I've ever seen Doug go into! Fun to watch. I also love in the third or fourth minute when he hits wrong chord, and looks over at Brett Netson with a knowing little smirk. Classic!
Boo Ya! 15 BTS shows, I have never caught this righteous Uncle Neil cover!! That record shop is getting the BTS melt your face treatment. Lol. Thx for the post.
I hate relying to my own post but WTF! How did I miss this? The rhythm guitarist's solo and tone are so good IDK what to say. The RG;s use of heavy weight whammy bar, power chords, vibrato and wah wah are truly in the terrain of watch this example and learn. 3 leads playing this into epic territory.
Check ‘Her Majesty’, Deja Vu or Marrakech Express... Dutch incredible coverband better than.. Last weekend they played in an open air theather (Bostheater Ommen) only if u were there..
He wasn't pissed at all. In a good mood actually. But insecure how his voice would sound in there. That's why they chose this instrumental song. Don't judge by the looks ;-)
BTS: The best kept secret in America. No one (NO ONE!) is better than this band. They cover other bands' tunes as well as anyone, and their own songs are (in the words of Rolling Stone magazine) "epic." I need my fill of spill soon!
Grooving, vibing, rolling
Perhaps the best Neil Young cover I've ever heard.
I loved built from day one when I was introduced to them 20 years ago. 🤘
No joke: Best rendering of N's tune on a strat wammy bar. Dood's got that spooky touch. Cowgirl in a lot of sand.
Just regular dudes tearin' it up man, no rock star buLLshit here.....thanx for the upload dudeTTe..;)
These people are lucky to be experiencing this.
This is insane. Saw Built To Spill in Oslo couple months age, one of the best concerts I've ever seen!
Loose and tight, loud quiet loud... take notice you aspiring young rockers!!
remarkable. by suggestion, i've found you and will be forever grateful having had a chance to enjoy you all's music. thank you.
Got to see these guys at a private party in Portland OR. They played a five-song set at the McMannamen's company party, was epic.
30 min neil young cover?! nice!
So glad I found this. Every now and then I find these little treasures that make me day! Thanks!

Absolutely fucking amazing

Too bad I can’t hear Doug. Count myself as fortunate to have seen them perform this at tree fort 2013
Haha he accidentally started to sing Down by the River xD
who among us
not too shabby.
Sounds like Doug is using a EH POG pedal. Cool.
Built to spill :)
Jim Roth going off!
Shakin'
How can i download this cover...?
He looks like Kris Noveselic
This sounds more like Neil Young than Neil Young does!
like +1 1:15 into the track. in the presence of something very good...

doug's shirt...ha
Great but the PA is too low. His voice should be above all
man
Very very long.
And good:-)
Neil could learn a LOT from this!
Can somebody who plays guitar tell me why Doug keeps his whammy bar so loose?
More play innit, innit?
It's usually a preference thing, it gives you more flexibility on the bridge I assume probably
Just sayin
Saw this video a while ago. Got back to it, and saw I disliked it. Why the fuck did I dislike one of my favourite bands???
Gustavo Metzker well, hopefully correction done? They were great.
Check ‘Her Majesty’, Deja Vu or Marrakech Express...

Lol. He’s pissed at his band. Completely disinterested for a large segment of this train wreck. I love his music, but this is a nightmare.

Choo Choo!

Right, nothing to add, except for that they are nice people as well....
+sugarhollowdaddy1 we went to Berlin in 2013 and we will be there again next month. Great band.
+sugarhollowdaddy1 Me too, seen 'em live thrice and they never disappoint!!!!
Keep it like a secret....
