Really appreciate you making these videos Gene, including all the conversations you and other pilots have is truly some of the most educational content when it comes to FPV on UA-cam. Thank you and all the pilots!!
Every time you cut to the POV shots, I’m reminded of the Evil Dead movies (when the unseen evil does a fly through the woods towards its victims). Makes it even cooler when you realize they didn’t have drones to pull those shots off back then (but imagine how much easier it would have been if they had!)
Would be cool to have camera manufacturers start making drone specific cameras, can totally see how a lower but longer body can make a huge difference in balancing and drag. Could even help with cooling for more agressive data crunching.
That was awesome! This video checked all the boxes for me. It provided me with knowledge, and good quality entertainment. On the constructive criticism side of things, I would have absolutely loved it, if it had ended with a slow mo, epic, well framed color graded shot of mind blowing proportions, given the fact that you had some of the best editors, best pilots and best gear in the industry all in one place. But I still watched the whole video and that's a win for someone as demanding as I am. Fantastic video Gene! Be well brother!
Also another reason the FX6 is a great FPV camera is its excellent rolling shutter performance. If it had bad rolling shutter it would be a totally different viewing experience. Great vid btw!
Really fun to see your journey with FPV and impressed you’re already flying cinelifters! Also really really nice job on that save after the dust hit the lens!
Man it’s awesome to witness your journey through fpv, you got to flying these expensive/ heavy rigs crazy fast. No wonder though, you are surrounded by the best. Awesome content, glad you didn’t crash too badly
😳OMGGGGGGGGGG, I have a DJI Mini 2 and I'm really afraid to try an FPV, but you are rippin it, that is soooooooo awesome how truly fast you can go with such a BIG camera on it. Awesome job 👏 👍
My favorite part of your videos is that oldie but goodie clip from years back where Kari smacks you with the drone. I knew back then you were gonna marry her. Happy for you guys!😊
This was a dream of a lot of film makers out there 30, 40 years back then would have the same thought as I. Not only for films but for many events like F1 racing, music movie clips etc... I must say wow oh wow.
Pretty massive rig. Just as everyone is selling their heavy lifts and going for the Inspire 3, here PJ's plopping together fx6's in the air like a kite.
Drones and batteries have gotten so crazy over the years. It's wild seeing such a relatively gigantic camera on that thing and it still just zips around like it's nothing.
Bro keep up the good work! I've been droning professionally for a while now and really need to change things up. You inspire me to step up my drone work and get into the FPV world.
It’s been a while since I last checked out your channel. Cinelifter! 😮 Wow this all new to me, man these things are big, just goes to show how far these things have come, amazing weight capabilities, speed and manoeuvrability, like flying a 4” FPV. Of course the down side is if you crash, coz…wow that’s a lot coin up there in the air.
It must be great to realise after time that your love language is flying stuff. You’re a pilot. Maverick, even. You like to fly stuff and humans need those too.
Drones are definitely one of the best and most fun inventions in the past 10 years. It's like every little kids dream of a remote controlled rc on steroids
I‘m completely new to FPV but from what I‘ve heard cinelifters typically use iNav instead of betaflight because inav has pretty good auto features like landing smooth and I guess RTH… and it also can do position lock (hover like a dji drone)
absolutely stunning shots from this, I think that if there was a gimbal on the drone holding the camera (to counteract tilt) it would unlock so many possibilities
I have wanted a drone since they came out. But I never got into it as a hobbie because of the cost, and now I think (as a photographer since 86) I found a reason to get into it. I love shooting photos and video, and currently working in graphic design, but this would be an amazing career change or even part time fun while making some money.
Enjoyed this. Randomly suggested for me so one more subscriber! I love your enthusiasm and attitude. Great community to boot! Looking forward to some more content after binging a few older vids :)
those drones are looking more and more awesome by the day!! Would love to see some footage with a wider lens with the fx6, like a 12-24mm or something like that. Fun!!!
I just love how open all bikers are with the thought of being filmed by a fast drone. I guess all the factors from both hobbies really overlap and it's usually just general good mood all around with tech and mechanical nerds. ^^
Just looked at your subscriber count... Soon to be a million! And without ever losing sight of what you do or becoming a gimmicky influencer. Good work dude!
That was... Amazing! Waiting for the inspire 3 vid too. Interested in how it shoots low light. Also, never saw fpv/regular drone shots at night with like milky way in it. Pretty sure a7s3 mounted on that FPV drone can do that:) Also curious can inspire 3 do that

It’s your genuine excitement and love for what you’re doing that keeps me coming back, Gene!

Maybe there was a real unseen evil😌
@@hundredfireify 💯😎👌
I've just seen this movie this weekend
@@GabrielZuanon The intro to that is one of the best in cinema, in my opinion. Right up there with 'The Shining' and 'Jaws'
I know the guy who owns that old rig lol. It's in New Zealand.
I understand the Jet part now
Best comment 😂
Though the cameras are definitely not potato
@@emanggitulah4319 certainly not!
He’s like rocket from guardians of the galaxy
the potato part is still an unknown
You've become such a great pilot man. Keep it up!
This is such amazing production bro!!!

Gene you're really ripping it, awesome video! Great flying, and glad you could use the QAV-PRO Lifter!
about to build one here in Aus!
Always a pleasure flying with you guys. Love the progress and seeing you flying the cinelifter.
hehe ima ruing the 69 lieks >:)
Drone tech has become so refined that you can literally fly a cinema camera on an FPV....
Always a pleasure flying with you guys.

Always great to hang gene! You’re getting so good at flying it’s insane!! Till next time buddy 🙌
Seeing grown up excited like this is fun. Everyone needs a toy of a sort.
tbh those dynamic close shots makes you really being into it
What a journey it has been seeing you learn fpv. In no time you'll be flying a house on fpv
Omg, these are some of the coolest fpv shots ive ever seen.
Wren from Corridor needs to see this

Wow, this footage is very cinematic. It looks really next level
Pretty massive rig. Just as everyone is selling their heavy lifts and going for the Inspire 3, here PJ's plopping together fx6's in the air like a kite.
good running into you randomly haha, never thought id cross paths with an fx6 pilot in the middle of a desert
Coincidence?
Thanks mate for the great review on our baby ❤
excited to build ours here in Australia!
I definitely need to get take the next step in my FPV career and go for the cinelifter
Drones and batteries have gotten so crazy over the years. It's wild seeing such a relatively gigantic camera on that thing and it still just zips around like it's nothing.
I love how you found your tribe flying a drone in the salt flat desert. Find your crew, doing what you do!
Alright, I've been wanting to try flying a drone for years but have never gotten around to it, but after watching this I think I'm sold.
3:29 you can put GPS on it, if there is a spare UART and also have GPS rescue with betaflight 4.4.
That was fun to watch. I can only imagine how fun it is to fly it.
My 3 year old just walked in and watched you for a bit and said, "dad that looks like you with the goggles but he is more kung fu". Hahaha
great stuff. it amazes me how all the different people you showed do the great flying you all do.
Bro keep up the good work! I've been droning professionally for a while now and really need to change things up. You inspire me to step up my drone work and get into the FPV world.
0:23 Hahaha showing us what not to do, such a good teacher.

I don't know much about any of this but it looks cool, and some insanely good flying of drones.
Did he say "Oh snap"? Wow, harsh words there!
Absolutely yes to more FPV content.

Definitely a multiverse moment at 7:54 lmao
Drone number one
Good job ❤
This footage is mind blowing though. Should fly straight to the Jeep commercial.
Man the Lumenier QAV-Pro Cinelifter is such a cool drone platform. Definitely not for beginners but something I aspire to someday
Why the hell are you not at 1 mill yet? Your channel is too freakin dope!
super cool stuff. the shots from that camera are incredible
High risk! High reward! With that mud shot!🔥
Damn, been so long & potato jet show up at a sudden in my yt home page. Glad u still alive 😂😂😂

The footage after min 14:00 surprised me, and the music only add even more to it. Very nice.
Absolute UNIT
Must be nice beeing rich😅 awesome footage!
Super fun seeing them find a Motocross driver and a drone Pilot on the same spot
I love how the bit hit the lens..Reminds me of fly fast through he Universe.
Man the waterfall shots were amazing
Great vlog, you've definitely delved into the Drone world.....😊
I hate I watched this video because now I want one 🙂 I know one rabbit hole at a time 😀 Awesome video thanks!
This guy is like a Red Arrows Pilot of the drone world! Fabulous footage from the desert!!
When I see any UA-camr with Sony product I know he or she is definitely a professional
The future of cinematography.

This is the type of camera we need to follow those drones we need crystal clear video
absolutely stunning shots from this, I think that if there was a gimbal on the drone holding the camera (to counteract tilt) it would unlock so many possibilities
Wow thats a scary piece of kit, have to be a seriously good pilot to fly that the way its being flown.
this would give me a heart attack lol flying a red or a sony like that lol
Would be nice if you upload a separate video in a 4k 60fps to see how awesome that camera
Awesome, love to see the fpv progression to cinelifters
That's what we call 'Professional' 😻
