I usually agree with most of your opinions in your posts but I must say I politely disagree with you on this subject. I believe a biopic on MJ would be epic, as long of course it was done with great writers and a brilliant director. it would definitely be possible to chronicle his life and his various ups and downs along the way. My primary concern is that he's played by a very talented African American actor and that the context of his portrayal is nuanced and "humanizes" him more. I would also like for this possible biopic to concentrate on MJ's mindset and personal struggles . I feel like thats always overlooked and should be explored deeply in some way. But in the mean time , "we shall see what happens"
I wanna make an animated movie with Michael telling his life story 2d animated, and hold nothing back. From the upbringing to adulthood. I even have a design for him and everything
I agree with the idea of it starting with a kid in a beat it jacket. Another idea would be a kid who’s around the same age as Michael and growing up with his ever evolving music and how it effects their life.
If we talk about an specific period of time, I'd love to watch a movie when Michael was in Ireland or Bahrein back in 2006-2007. I would love to see him out of the stage, with the children, small entourage and making music now and then. We will be able to see a mature Michael with the wisdom of life and the perpetual sadness in his eyes. This man deserves the best and I hope a respectful and dignifying film could portrayed his humanity.
I like the idea of a movie where someone is inspired by Michael Jackson. That's a great idea. I've actually want to do a movie like that someday and JD should be the director of of the film😂
What about, an entire movie covering Michael Jackson's life from childhood to death, but where it's told from the perspective of different people around him while Michael himself is portrayed like Maris Crane in "Frasier"?
I respect your views on this JD; its just sad that we'll probably never get a high-quality biopic about Michael. There's been a couple of attempts on cable, but none of them have been very faithful.
I just found this video after having the opportunity to watch the MJ musical and lemme tell ya. The perfect MJ biopic already exists, and I just saw it. It plays it real safe/smart, covers Jackson 5 up to the Dangerous tour, acknowledges but doesn’t fully address the controversies(minor gripe), and re-contextualizes a couple songs INCREDIBLY well. I cannot stress how amazing the show was. I had pretty low expectations going in but it honestly blew me away. There are three MJ actors at different stages of his career and they all do exceptionally well. The main actor looks, acts, and moves so much like Michael. While his pitch is 90% there, his inflection is 100% there. I could easy suspend my disbelief that this was Michael Jackson for three hours. Honestly, if they ever make a Michael movie, I hope they adapt this musical cause all the magic is there.
Michael Jackson Hollywood movie would destroy in box office. It’s so hard to cast him coz mj has created his own unique personality that nobody could copy
You're so clever,so sensible and coherent, and mature. You remind of one of my favorite students, really. I love ur videos, you rock. "Don't stop till you get enough!". 😃🤩😁
It will be a lot of things to cover about Michael’s life in just 2 hours but knowing the industry, this will never happen. They will always be unfair to Michael 🤦🏾♂️
This is it although very sad because he passed away soon after was still a great Movie just seeing the artistry of the King of Pop behind the scenes as he sang danced and create magic on stage
They should atleast get an actor who doesn't portray him as freakish or freakish looking. Looks don't really matter but every actor that has played Michael have been straight up looking crazy, the only great movie was the American Dream one. It's kind of weird considering Michael was always an attractive guy. What people seem to miss is that when he was alive, he was the MAIN heart throb that every man and women wanted to be with his ENTIRE life-Especially in the late 80s and early/late 90s. That's a big big thing that needs to be focused on. A huge part of Michael is that he was very charming. I want them to find a actor who can portray that, instead of making Michael look like a complete freak-Physically and mentally. Actors also need to stop portraying him as slow and just plain weird. They simply just OVER play Michael...Like literally making his voice overly high pitched. In public, Michael acted pretty normal-He joked, had fun, and had a pretty professional and really sassy side to him despite him being shy. I think actors need to portray him as shy but not weird, like I said, he acted normal and didn't act like anything out of the ordinary. Michael simply just didn't like being in the public and being around people because of how much pain and physical/mental abuse he has been through. He had absolutely nobody and as years passed that fact started to show in his behavior, and he got increasingly shy and scared considering how the media and people treated him. Instead of just showing Michaels so called “weird" and “odd" behavior, they should show the CAUSE of his shy and quite odd behavior. If I was making a Michael Jackson movie, I would focus on a “bullied victim" kind of mindset-Because that's what Michael was. Movies barely talk about his personal life or talk about why he acts the way he does. Michael stated that he had a eating disorder and had to be fed through tubes after he refused to eat...He had a very abusive father and stated how his father would nearly break his arm on multiple occasions, make him strip and oil down before getting a beaten, bully him about his appearance and call him ugly...Michael stated how he would have mannequins in his house because he was too shy to be around people ( considering he was mistreated by damn near everyone )...And there is ALOT more that MJ talked about. Writers and actors really need to do their research and not portray Michael as just some weird freak who doesn't act normal at all when he jokes, talks, and basically navigates like everyone else around him.
The main problem I have is the behavior in how they portray Michael, his backstory and struggles, and his appearance-Because I said before, Michael was literally a HUGE heart-throb his whole life. Especially when he started to look “different”, he didn't get just critisim for that...That caused fans to crush over him more. Michael had to deal with getting sexually harassed his whole life, and at that point that became probably as difficult as his other struggles. Michael had hard times making speeches because everytime he would get ready to talk atleast a hundred fans would yell out inappropriate comments or flirtatiously whistle at him. This would happen in live performances, and when he's just out in public. Fans have tried to kiss Michael, grope him, everything you can imagine. The fact that he was a sex figure-More notable in the late 80s and early/late 90s-Should be a major highlight. They need to portray Michaels charming and good looking trait really, if they fix everything I mentioned I'll sell my entire house to see a movie about MJ.
I would love to see something like Mama Mia where it's not a movie about ABBA, but it uses their music to tell the story. I think that would be dope with Michael's music
I'm going to put it like this, I think it is possible to do a two hour film. Also, if those theif's can get away with a movie that is four freaking hours of nothing but nonsense of convincing the audience of the dark side of Michael and just out to get money from the estate then I don't see why filmmakers could hit back with a biopic. As to what you said about your opinion on the audience not interested in the relationship between Michael and his family I think they should put it in. If they don't like it well then deal with it. Because to not show the understanding of the complications of why he had separated from most of members except for the mother would lack into the reasons why Michael turned out the way he is. As for Michael's facial change, I really still see the same man that he has always been since he was a kid. Yes I do agree motion capture\cgi would help to avoid negative feedback. Now as to not have a Michael Jackson biopic I would not be fine with that because he is the only African American that flew beyond heights as to gaining recognition for the greatest across the world and to not see that film be made while you got Elton John, Queen, the Beatles etc is this is how he should be repaid? Make the music biopic a little diverse and Michael is the best one to start this. There is a lot I wanna say but I don't want to start any problem. Also, in my opinion Michael's life the way I see it isn't as huge as it looks if you focus on the real Jackson.
Also, a Michael Jackson biopic would have to be written by a person who truly understood his character. Only the family, his close friends and the fans in general could accurately give a detailed account of who he was as a person. Unfortunately, The mainstream media and Hollywood's laughably false interpretation of Michael wrongfully portrays him as some sort of wacky cartoon character that is a straight up mockery of everything he stood for, and if we don't stand up to this, his history could be shamelessly rewritten
I read many fanfictions and one underrated plot I like to read is a fan or a non-fan living Michael's life. Like that one movie of the guy who is the only one who remembers The Beatles except this film, the person will live throughout Michael's life and what he experienced. The abuse, the fame, the allegations except they try to avoid these mistakes as much as possible. It may not be a good film but I thought I should share my thoughts on it
I agree there should be absolutely NO BIOPIC regarding Mchael's life.Bopics are created by people who have No RESPECT for the artist and make up stories of their own suppossedly based on events mentioned in some unauthorised "biographer"s" book.
I would like to see an entertaining bio pic of Michael Jackson's life story covering the Destiny tour and the Triumph tour era. Now that, would be an awesome Michael Jackson Bio pic.
When you put the two actors side by side next to their character and said they didnt look alike when in fact the actor looked a hell of a lot like the character. It blew my mind. Im a big movie critic and im not that analytical to say the least
I feel like if they were ever to make a biopic based on Michael's ENTIRE life, it would probably be made for TV and be made in a somewhat similar way that BET made The Bobby Brown Story. But aside from that, and as much as I would like to see it, a Michael Jackson biopic would probably never be made for the big screen.
Yes a Michael Jackson biopic done well is needed. He is one of the biggest artist in Music history. He deserves one for sure. Allegations should be included, so that we all get to understand how that played in pivotal role in his life. From his Jackson 5 days up until This is it. Johnny Depp should play him after 1991. Just my suggestion, and before i'm still thinking of an actor to portray him.
They would have to do 2 films, really. One being focused on the J5/Jackson's showcasing Michael's earlier years, and go all the way to '84/85, post victory as he begins the Bad Era. The second one beginning sometime during the Bad Era, going all the way to June 25th, 2009. Yes there might be some crunching done for time but I think two films would be plenty. If you did three that'd be streching it out and overdoing it, I believe. The thing is, is that I just don't trust the elite Hollywood crowd, especially when it comes to Michael Jackson. Everything that's happened this year should be proof enough. I think Spike Lee would do an amazing job, but he's said he would never do one since there's so much history there. Who knows, maybe one day we could get lucky and have someone who doesn't have an agenda to push do a competent film on MJ. Edit: As to the actor situation, I think Michael Trapson & Navi could do a great job portraying Michael in their respective eras, Trapson can do Thriller Era (very well) through Dangerous and Navi could also do the Dangerous/HIStory Eras up the TII Era.
No, I would not be upset if the did CGI for Michaels face and I’ve also thought that would be the only way, as well. They could also probably do something similar with his voice. Also; it would have to be a part one and two probably. The first one would be ending around the Thriller time, when he’s MASSIVE and his Vitiligo starts getting bad... then, the second film could basically be the beginning of the “new” Michael Jackson, starting in 1985 right before Bad
Bohemian Rhapsody was amazing for me💖 but I'm scared of what they would do with a MJ Biopic, it just seems like they would do some crap to the man. For one they'd probably not even focus on the music and his accomplishments, I just don't trust Hollywood. Plus I agree it would be too hard for one actor to pull his look and charisma. I'm fact it would have to be like a mini series cause his life is filled with a lot.

Perhaps doing the film in flashback sequences? Opening of the film starts around his last days (This Is It), and proceeds with flashbacks.
I want a MJ biopic that humanizes him and not just about MJ the supernova. I also don’t trust Hollywood when it comes to MJ.
The Jacksons American Dream was great. It didn't include the media stupidity just their lives and their music!!
I wanna make an animated movie with Michael telling his life story 2d animated, and hold nothing back. From the upbringing to adulthood. I even have a design for him and everything
Please do it💗
I agree with the idea of it starting with a kid in a beat it jacket. Another idea would be a kid who’s around the same age as Michael and growing up with his ever evolving music and how it effects their life.
Selfa 211 similar to blinded by the light with Bruce Springsteen music?
@@BuzzAnon that was a really good movie. i'd love to see a michael movie in that style
This man deserves the best and I hope a respectful and dignifying film could portrayed his humanity.
i kinda feel like it would be impossible
I like the idea of a movie where someone is inspired by Michael Jackson. That's a great idea. I've actually want to do a movie like that someday and JD should be the director of of the film😂
You got that right, WE WILL NEVER see a MJJ again...... NEVER!
Todd Sams ?
I would do a mini TV series or a film trilogy of Michael's life.
What about, an entire movie covering Michael Jackson's life from childhood to death, but where it's told from the perspective of different people around him while Michael himself is portrayed like Maris Crane in "Frasier"?
CGI oh Please they couldn't even get a MJ Hologram right that one from the mtv awards a few years ago was horrible it looked nothing like him
The Jackson’s American Dream movie is the only good movie
SEARCHING FOR NEVERLAND.
I respect your views on this JD; its just sad that we'll probably never get a high-quality biopic about Michael. There's been a couple of attempts on cable, but none of them have been very faithful.
My biggest hang up with American Dream is the fact that they messed MJ’s birth year. It was 1959 instead of ‘58
Im happy you didn't take the same path as River Gibbs did.
So true. I had a feeling that River would leave MJ Community, but I was still disappointed in him when it happened.
I think an animated biopic could work as far as Michael's appearance goes
Michael Jackson Hollywood movie would destroy in box office. It’s so hard to cast him coz mj has created his own unique personality that nobody could copy
Get On Up and Behind The Candlelabra's formula would definitely work for a Jackson movie.
You're so clever,so sensible and coherent, and mature. You remind of one of my favorite students, really. I love ur videos, you rock. "Don't stop till you get enough!". 😃🤩😁
I loved Jackson’s: an American dream it was really kinda straightforward
Came back to this video after the biopic news✨ I love your idea of a movie addressing his influence!
It will be a lot of things to cover about Michael’s life in just 2 hours but knowing the industry, this will never happen. They will always be unfair to Michael 🤦🏾♂️
welp time to panic
This aged well …
This is it although very sad because he passed away soon after was still a great Movie just seeing the artistry of the King of Pop behind the scenes as he sang danced and create magic on stage
Wow great points. I adore your ability to think better than 100 men
You say that you couldn’t find a Michael jackson actor, but Navi in “searching for neverland” did absolutely amazing and he would be perfect for it
He's not black and he only KINDA looks like MJ from ONE era
The allegation thing could be in an american crime story way, like they did for O.J, about the 2005 one mainly.
I'm Good With The Jacksons An American Dream Mini Series #Classic
Michael and LMP is another movie by itself
For casting they could low key use his nephew because he looks like him
Also, a Michael Jackson biopic would have to be written by a person who truly understood his character.
AMEN
I read many fanfictions and one underrated plot I like to read is a fan or a non-fan living Michael's life. Like that one movie of the guy who is the only one who remembers The Beatles except this film, the person will live throughout Michael's life and what he experienced. The abuse, the fame, the allegations except they try to avoid these mistakes as much as possible. It may not be a good film but I thought I should share my thoughts on it
There is simply no one who could do him justice. He is untouchable. I love biopics, but this is one that shouldn’t ever be done. You’re right.
You can do a part 1, a part 2, and a part 3. You can do a three part movie of Michael Jackson's life. And this time, put it in the theaters.
I agree there should be absolutely NO BIOPIC regarding Mchael's life.Bopics are created by people who have No RESPECT for the artist and make up stories of their own suppossedly based on events mentioned in some unauthorised "biographer"s" book.
Bro lions gate confirmed about a mj biopic
I would like to see an entertaining bio pic of Michael Jackson's life story covering the Destiny tour and the Triumph tour era. Now that, would be an awesome Michael Jackson Bio pic.
When you put the two actors side by side next to their character and said they didnt look alike when in fact the actor looked a hell of a lot like the character. It blew my mind. Im a big movie critic and im not that analytical to say the least
Many valid points✅, and now there's a biopic in the works... Can't wait to see how they're gonna pull this one off
If they need to make a good Michael Jackson biopic they need Dean Marrow of Michael Trapson
J.D., you should direct the movie!
I don’t know why we couldn’t have a Scorecesse type 3 hour biopic like he did with Howard Hughes in Aviator, or even better, a Trilogy or two part.
World wide star search, has to be an unknown actor. Needs to be like a dream sequence where the changes take place.
They can just make a mini series
No, I would not be upset if the did CGI for Michaels face and I’ve also thought that would be the only way, as well.
They could also probably do something similar with his voice.
Also; it would have to be a part one and two probably. The first one would be ending around the Thriller time, when he’s MASSIVE and his Vitiligo starts getting bad... then, the second film could basically be the beginning of the “new” Michael Jackson, starting in 1985 right before Bad
They shouldn’t ask the parents permission and the daughter’s permission
Bohemian Rhapsody was amazing for me💖 but I'm scared of what they would do with a MJ Biopic, it just seems like they would do some crap to the man.
For one they'd probably not even focus on the music and his accomplishments, I just don't trust Hollywood. Plus I agree it would be too hard for one actor to pull his look and charisma. I'm fact it would have to be like a mini series cause his life is filled with a lot.
There are plenty of Michael Jackson lookalikes out there but the movie would never be accurate, tasteful or respectful to The Late King of Pop.
If there is ever a MJ biopic I think it should be from Off The Wall to Invincible and maybe even This Is It
There was "Searching for Neverland" (2017)
