I think it’s gotta be more than one film, it’s gonna be way too cramped to fit all of it into a 2 and half hour film or even a 3 hour film. There’s just so many things that they have to hit on, so I’m thinking a trilogy would be better suited (wild I know, but hear me out). The first film would be from the Jackson 5 to Off The Wall, covering the birth of his career and traumatic childhood, the shift from Motown to Epic, and the taste that he got for solo ventures. Then the second one would be from thriller to bad, containing the making of the album thriller and music videos, his departure from “The Jackson’s”, his rise to mega superstardom, bad and the making of it and the music videos, and ending with purchase and construction of neverland ranch with a somber/foreshadowing end leading to the next film. The last film being very serious dealing with the child cases and his death along with the album’s dangerous, HIStory, invincible. As well as his humanitarian work and his love life and touching upon the tour that never was “This is it”. (The descriptions are just outlines for the eras, anything significant during said era should be included like the wiz, Super Bowl performance, etc.) The three films being around 1.5 - 2 hours and releasing within a year during the 40th anniversary for Bad in 2027. The three films could even spell out his full name: the first being Michael, second being Joesph, and the last being Jackson. (Making an excellent Boxset)

I say start with Off The Wall Era then go down the line. We already touched The Jackson 5 era with The Jackson’s: American Dream mini series, so show respect to Off The Wall. Plus where is Janet’s Bio Pic?
I questioned this choice at first but then I remembered O'Shea Jr did a great job as his pop with no previous experience and he's still got a pretty good career going. The only difference here is that this dude has to carry the movie as the star. But this can work sometimes and Fuqua's been in the game long enough that I trust his judgment. I peeped his videos on UA-cam and he does have the look, voice, and moves. What I'm most curious about is how they're gonna deal with Michael's appearance in his later years. That seems like it would require a combo of CGI and prosthetics if it going to be accurate. I also say bring back Angela Bassett as Katherine! She ain't aged since The Jacksons miniseries and she might be picking up an Oscar for BP2 soon

Cause it would seem like a parody
Don't forget the activator for the Jeri curl 😄

I know this is months old but I hope denzel plays Joseph Jackson because this is gonna be directed by antoine fuqua and I can see Denzel in the role itll be fire
In my opinion, i’d choose Keith David to play Jo
Love the thumbnail to this video
He looks like Jermaine more but I can see the resemblance for sure. Them Jackson genes are strong 💪 😅
….Clifton Powell as Joe Jackson, fight me 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Jaafar sings like Mike. He was the perfect choice. Off The Wall is still my favorite album of all time. I love every single song from that album. I have faith that Jaafar can pull this off. He has all the tools needed to do so. The Off The Wall era gets touched on in the Broadway musical. I want to see them touch more on the man from his personal experiences. The family said they are going to show a side of him that the fans never got to see.
I wish you guys would’ve done a little more research on Jafaar because he actually sings and sounds JUST LIKE Michael. There was also a picture they put out of Jafaar posing like Michael with the hat and shoes on. And for the truth and debunking of those allegations check out the documentary “SquareOne”. #GreatChoiceToPlayMichael #Innocent
That's wassup, i hear of him and his music last year and thought "omg if they ever do a movie, i hope he gets to play his uncle. Idk about his acting yet, but he definitely has the looks and voice.
I hope they cover Mike's imitation of Richard Pryor. When his head lite up like a match on stage because of spark effects. For a soda commercial.😆
He has a music video called you got me dancing or singing. Or something along those lines check it out it'll give you a good idea of hi's singing a dancing ability
Fuqua is a solid filmmaker. I can see him putting together a solid entertaining biopic.
This needs to be a 2 parter
NICE AND COOL
