Well the traditional style is rolling up the jeans in the skinhead style...
Skin heads didn’t originate Dr. Martens. They just took the boot. The boot is English and founded on the boot that the soldiers used to wear. Then they rendered it and made it more functional and comfortable for everyday use, 1st worn to garden in etc.

Ok I just got my first pair and I have no clue how to tie them off bc the laces are short got any tips
I don’t lace them up to the very top, I go to the second to the top one! You could also get longer laces if that doesn’t work. Good luck, let me know how it goes!
Tysm! I figured it out I used a different tying method to utilize the short laces and went tk the second top one like you recommended
Are you pulling them super tight? When you get them you have to basically completely unlace them and then lace them again the first time you wear them so that they can mold to your feet properly and then you just lake out like 3-4 laces to get your foot out and make sure to pull them TIGHT!!!!! (but don't break the laces lol) and them they should be fine to lace to the top. Plus if you still have problems they have longer ones on their website for like 5 bucks lol

Skinny black jeans I do do a lot with them though so that's a fairly good tip but they're basically a working boot so it doesn't matter if they get covered a bit. I have normal jeans though too and have never had this problem idk.
