Duran Duran is my #1 favorite Band. I am so stoked that they were inducted into the RRHF…..long overdue and well deserved. As far as New Moon on Monday, it is at the top of my list for all time Duran Duran songs. My favorite arrangements are the keyboards and the chorus. I especially like the way Simon harmonizes with himself.
Fantastic version of this song .. the drums and bass sequence are incredible... JT is an amazing musician .... apart from playing great ... he wrote brilliant bass lines to suit the rhythm and sit with the harmony’s... a super talent ....

I also never saw this song live since I don´t think they perform it anymore. Funny: i watched it several times in a row. I always felt like Simon started a little bit to soon after Nicks Solo. But: he has his eyes on Nick and it almost looks like an almost unseen short nodding before jumping back in the direction of the audience. And I love how Andy is fully into the song and seems to really enjoy it although - well, it never made the impression of the most challenging song ever for a guitar.
He plays a lot of Gibsons as well...during this tour he also used a black Gibson SG...youll notice too that he has like 4-5 Marshall amps...Andy has always been a 100% pro guitar player....if you watch one of his solo concerts, its like a New Years MTV thing from like 1986 i think, he plays a Strat the whole show...

This was from a UK TV show called "The Tube" - it was a one-off exclusive concert clip. They didn't show any other songs.
Once artist could perform live, and not hide behind autotunes.
Did Andy Taylor's mom and dad shoot this video? Not sure he needed that much screen time.
