Good build. Made slight adjustment and used the new pulse missile hand launcher instead of Bazook for extra pressure. Gridwalker boosters to stay airborne longer. Build works well because the lasers are kind of cheap. Not sure if it's just from my POV when I shot it, but it looks like it misses but if one of the six shots (if firing all of them) nicks the opponent, the opponent takes damage from all of it. Still enjoy running my lightweight Nachtreiher with the big coral gen and gill boosters with dual laser pistols and plasma launchers because being zippy is fun--but this is great for just pushing ranks against all of the losers running dual zimmermans.

Normally I also run lightweight builds (Shadow & Raptor mainly, I posted both builds as a community post yesterday), this is my only "tank" build for PvP thus far. The new pulse missiles are absolutely fantastic. I already made a slightly lighter and faster version of the Archangel (the Seraphim) with the pulse missile instead of the Apperative, Bazooka in the other hand and the new big laser guns on the back instead of the triple laser rifles. This lowers weight so you can use different legs, which further lowers weight and allows for a far more agile AC. It won't one-shot opponents as easy as the Archangel, but the testing I did in unranked PvP were a lot of fun. I do think the pulse missiles will take their place in the new meta tho, they seem to be way to good to be ignored.
that mech looks familier, fairly sure i went up against it. i fled while firing the PFAUs since those cannons are down right horrifying. i run super light builds so just getting hit by a semi charge woth one of those is going to knock me down to 4k out the 8100 AP i noramlly have. very fun to see
Could very well be. Last night? Rank D? I went against a super light build which I just couldn't catch. Completely destroyed me from a distance. If that was you, very well done. My build did not stand a chance. I might upload the matches I played yesterday later this week, I'll notify you if I can find the one vs you ;)
@@Etrulz Just in case you somehow have no latency problems with online play, it goes like this; you're fighting a guy, you see the big blue balls of energy forming over his shoulders, you're waiting for the warning or to see them enter the stance!... Suddenly HIT, no animation/stance or anything - if anything they are now glitched/frozen in an idle animation on your screen, the lasers even look like they missed you , but nope says the game - half-to-two-thirds of a second later-ish; BEEP-BEEP RED WARNING FLASH INCOMING ATTACK. Meanwhile, you're already getting wrecked by the other incoming attacks. Latency HWs tend to dominate when you get no warning for those tri-lasers, or the MAJESTIC shot you dodged at 100m (the smoke trail misses you by the full breadth of your AC) somehow hits and staggers you despite it blowing up at 250m and- y'know you *saw* yourself dodge it. /rant Sorry. Hard for me to take HW builds with tri-laser/MAJESTIC with anything other than an entire ocean's worth of salt.
Oooh, that you mean. I have not experienced any latency issues that big yet. I do get the feeling that lasers and kicks tend to hit even if they should miss, but that's about it. Never had any issue with the hit indicators or whatever, but I do have a very good internet setup and connection in my area luckily. Also I don't feel like my adviseries have these issues, cause the beams get dodges very easily if not fired at the right time. So.. I do not recognize these issues, sry.

Well, I would say give it a spin :) It's a really fun tank build, at least that's what I think.. but I made the damn thing so that's hardly surprising. It carried me all the way through D-rank today, and it's holding up pretty well in C too.

This kinds of builds in the same category as missile boats and full cannon tanks. In manner of boring to play with it. On mistake, and you are nullified, while other player have literally no effort in play with it
Sort of, yes. Same category, but somewhat easier to fight against cause it has very obvious flaws. First of all, you basically fire all your weapons at once. If you miss that shot, it will take a while before you can engage again, which combined with it's low speed/heavy weight leaves you open for retaliation. It will be no surprise that terminal armor is super strong vs this build. Second, the shoulder weapons have very limited ammo. If you manage to dodge the lasers only a few times they are depleted, completely taking the sting out of this build. Finally, it is completely useless vs lightweight runaway builds, because neither the missiles nor the bazooka have the reach or tracking to get to them. So yes, it is a build which, like missile boats and cannon tanks, relies on heavy hits and quick elimination of it's enemies, but it has far more obvious flaws and weak spots. It is very much a heavy-hitter that will take a few blows, but still needs to kill it's opponent quick or else it will very quickly be in a tight spot (which cannot be said about "true" missile boats or cannon builds). It is thanks to this edge that I like running it, cause you still feel like there is something at stake.
Well, I would suggest checking out some other vids then because there are a lot of good light and midweight builds too. The meta shifted, but I don't think this build qualifies as meta as it has too many obvious weak spots.
