What weapons do you mean? I mainly use the Zweihander and some spells in this vid I think, although I'm not 100% sure cause it's been a while. I really should play Elden Ring again.

Thanks! I'm glad you like the vid and build :) and you're absolutely right, using different talismans can change the prefered damage type you do. I swap a lot between different talismans with this build, allowing for very different playstyles which is what makes the build so much fun imo.

I would probably put some points in STR so I'd have access to some colossal weapons and add some to FTH to be able to use more spells (like Golden Vow for instance). True, but still ot's a very fun build. I like to use the frame amd mix up the weapons a bit. I've got different set ups that are less meta on my channel if you're interested, such as a lightweight brawler for instance.

Maybe because of the basho arms? They got very good overall stats.

I did something similar, but instead of the vertical missiles I got the six cell regular ones I think. It's really good! The Majestic is one of my absolute favorite weapons!

Ehhh.. well that's the base setup I use, yeah. The idea is every setup is slightly different / uses different weapons with the same frame. Just to mix things up a bit.

Tanks are really scary to play against as a lightweight. I like to play as a tank occasionally, but overall I like my ACs to be fast and light. The zippier the better, lol

Is it like a bug or an intended feature that it still hits through pulse armor? Because that's borderline broken

@@spacecowboy5486 Intended since its a dot effect. Stun guns do the same. The elec damage goes through if you hit before the armor finishes.

Agreed! I tend to lean towards a more midweighty around 320-350 boost speed builds. But I love zipping around.

You're right, yeah The more experienced players will definitely know how to counter and keep their cool. Thanks btw! The build itself does require very little skill, but it's fun to just push-push-push them into their "I'm feeling uncomfortable" zone, lol

They really surprised me in a good way! I mainly used them to keep the weight low, but like you said they hit much more than I would expect. They are more of a tactical weapon than a true heavy hitter tho, and they can't be really used to punish at all (I like most of my weapons to be multifunctional, meaning being able to put pressure on my opponent and punish if needed..). Also it might be that other players are unfamiliar with using them because they are rarely used, and if they would be used more people would learn how to counter them rather quickly, because right now they really miss a bit of.. sharpness. Even a small buff could fix this I think.

@@Etrulz some weapons, mainly RANSETSU RF, ETSUJIN, and the high reload speed missiles, take advantage of stagger not in an opportunistic way like the JVLN Alpha, but rather like the ever looming threat that just happens to be headed towards you when you get staggered. You can't plan the "punish" the same way as you can with bursty weapons, but you can take advantage of it by virtue of them frequently having ordinance in play.

I'm sorry bro but those things are one of the most braindead weapons in the game, they are borderline broken and I wouldn't be surprised if they are bugged

They absolutely are MEAN. I really like them, even though they feel a bit busted at times and not 100% reliable.. as far as laser cannons go they are my favorites tho.

You're completely right, the coral moonlight is the weakest weapon out of the four, but it looks so damn cool! lol I really like the majestic. I've been running it for so long now I can just guess when it's ready to fire and I know whether I will hit or miss even before I've pulled the trigger lol. Using it became second nature. I'll switch the blade for a different weapon and see what I can come up with. Another rifle would greatly extend it's kiting abilities which, although being a boring playstyle, can make the build a lot stronger overall..

@@Etrulz ah well, 10/10 man, rule of cool is always the best one, if that was part of the decision to pick the coral blade nothing to say! Yeah i rifle also seems nice!

They are just so damn ATTRACTIVE!

Although I don't really mind the way they look, I absolutely agree that there should be less of a gap. This is also in part due to the strength of the Ocellus tbh, but indeed for a melee build it feels weird to choose anything else than the Bashos. Maybe there will be another update somewhere in the near future. I sure hope so..

@@Etrulz I think maybe we didn't get a balance change due to the whole Elden Ring dlc. People are forgetting that ER is their cash cow. They've probably got everyone working double time on that game.

@@Etrulz I guess I could be nicer to the BASHO arms. What I should say is that they completely ruin the aesthetic of my NACHT/ALBA light. They make my AC look like a gorilla or pinhead from Puppet Masters.

True! I was still learning what the best tactic would be with this build. I tend to experiment a lot to see what works and what doesn't, this one was a lot of fun, but the Truenos always feel like they hold back my build a bit whenever I use them. Maybe I jist don't really know how to use them properly lol

You are 100% right. Any build should try to emphasize it's own strengths while exploiting their oppponents weaknesses. Pure kites just have very few real weaknesses I think. I do prefer more versatile builds tho, so you can mix stuff up and/or counter your opponents build in the best way possible. One trick builds (kites, dual zimms etc.) quickly become tedious to use after a couple of matches imo. The build variety in Rank A is pretty good now tho, it's very nice to see people using all kind of different builds!

I was actually here to say exactly (nearly) what's put down here. But also *who was* that LOCKSMITH man. It's a solid build, but showing up online with a stock frame is a bold damn choice. I dig that.

That locksmith guy was a very good player. So good I still remember his name lol. Really had trouble with beating him, very, VERY good fights. Don't know who he is or if he posts his vids somewhere tho, would love to find out.
