Lol, yes! It's a very powerful weapon indeed and not even that hard to pull off, basically tap-tap assault boost at close range. Paired with a shotgun or bazooka those kicks are deadly.
Both are good, but I do prefer the Ludlows mainly because I got used to them (I can basically predict reload time and know when I can fire again), but I also get the feeling the ac strain is slightly higher. Could be due to small differences such as slightly lower recoil too, and they are aboit half the weight. All in all they are very similar, but I do prefer the Ludlows overall.
