Incredibly cohesive and precise guide, I forward my props! Strangely it's not too often to find a video that can properly lay out their walkthrough without rambling about irrelevancies, fluent speech and missing vital info so, massive props.
Appreciate the kind words, and a lot of the stuff you described just boils down to scripting your videos. It's really easy to just press record and ramble about a topic you know a lot about, but that generally leads to a long runtime with a lot of tangents. I still do this for less important topics, such as the Delve Tier List, since it saves an IMMENSE amount of production time. Writing, proofreading, narrating, and editing the 7 page script for this guide took days of work, but I would like to think it's worth the effort for more important videos such as this one.
Algorithm love. Thanks for another great vid. Checking out the written and going to give it a try. Anything remotely close to 2 hours will make my day!
As always, killing it my dude. Are you thinking of doing an updated 1-70 run or do you feel like your current guide is solid still? Thanks for the awesome guide and congrats again!
I do plan on making updated 1-70 guides, but the current guide is still ~90% accurate. That's why I've waited so long to update it, since I figured it was more important to work on stuff like this.
Wonderful guide, would it be possible to show the map of the locations or co-ords to make it a little faster for the ones of us that do not know where the outposts are?
I do however wish I knew about the profession leveling prior to the end of the guide, as I started following the guide from the start without watching the entire guide prior.
"Unfortunately its complete BEANS for leveling" lies. its the greatest and I have come to this video to comment and shake my fist. Thanks for the guide!
during Legion prepatch, at the end of WoD, I leveled a toon by battling the same moths over and over in a small village in Karasarang in Pandaria. there was a stable master so i could keep healing my pets for 10s.. it was VERY FAST but that was so, so long ago.
Great to see your guide! Quick question, though: Any idea how it compares to leveling through TW classic dungs? And how much renown do we get with your route? Leveling my main through campaign, I think I didn't get any or barely any renown until I hit Adventure Mode.
You get some renown from the campaign quests, all renown bonuses are 1 time rewards from completing chunks of the campaign or side quest hubs. Classic TW is very hit or miss, answered in a few other comments in more detail.
72-78 5 hours stopped around the do each delve part, went for profession equipment around the zones and a few zone weeklys about to ding 79. but still 5-6 hours..
Recently played, ding'd 80 on 2 characters, no skip the into was there, took a third character to ding before the option was there. One weird thing, I still had some quests left over, while levelling it was mostly fine, soon as I hit 80 I got pounded, quest were ripping me a new one, I just got the, must finish these and clear the sheet, but the mobs beat the crap out of me, where just before dinging I managed fine.
This is true for higher level delves, sure, but most leveling characters are completely invincible. I can pull entire delves on many specs at lower levels and my healthbar won't even move.
Unfortunately the map indicators that they added in Dragonflight were broken with the new expansion, and Blizzard still hasn't fixed this. You'll just need to fly into each zone until you see the buffs appear.
Depends. Normal TWW dungeons are really slow now and I would not recommend them at all. Timewalking dungeons can be ~1-2 hours slower than this route, but it obviously depends on a lot of factors. Most TW dungeon sets have atleast one REALLY bad dungeon which brings down the average, such as Deadmines in the Classic pool. If you're only leveling through dungeon spamming, it will end up being notably slower overall. Timewalking dungeons are best used sparingly as a way to replace some of the weaker parts of the route, such as delves with bad variants or the bonus side quest hubs mentioned at the end.
Heirlooms stop scaling at 70, so they're actually incredibly weak for TWW leveling. This is why I usually aim to skip to Level 71 with crafting XP and equip the 528 crafted gear.
@@Harldan1 this helped so much, thank you! I was able to craft my own 528 gear and with some herbalism and mining got to 71 in just a few minutes with the double anni buff.
It's fine if you prefer to save gold, but it's absolutely worth it from an efficiency standpoint. Materials have also been steadily decreasing in price, so it will be super cheap later on in the expansion. By the end of Dragonflight it was less than 5k gold for the entire crafting process, which is a small price to pay for a ~30 min+ time save.

wow this was a great video man excellent editing
Simply the best. Thanks for another brilliant guide!
Fantastic videos and content as of late, mate. I've been putting off leveling more characters until something like this from you came out!

This is absolutely amazing! Detailed and precise information. Thanks for sharing this information with us
You are a BEAST with these guides, man!!! Every one is an incredibly thorough and detailed account of your findings. Love it! Thank you!!!
I like the way you structured it with crafting in the end. Nice video!
Yes pls good sir. Exactly what I needed. We missed all the dungeon speedleveling 😂

Thank you for this!
Yo Harldan!
Love the guide!
Can't wait for more.

@Harldan1 makes complete sense, thanks again for the awesome content.
Thanks Harldan I’ve been waiting for this lol!!! How do you compare this to Timewalking spamming? Also does War Mode effect xp from crafting?
War Mode does not affect the crafting XP (it specifically states it buffs mob kills and quests), and Timewalking spamming tends to be slower.
i did the enchanting thing.
With 20% from anniversary, 10%from bonfire, 10% from carousel, in a dream surge (25%).
I got to Level 72 and 44%.
should add, it cost about 10k
If by "bonfire" you're referring to the Hallow's End buff, that only affects mob kill XP, so it would not boost Crafting Exp values.
Wonderful guide, would it be possible to show the map of the locations or co-ords to make it a little faster for the ones of us that do not know where the outposts are?

When you change your hearthstone location it registers the location of your character AND the direction you are facing.

brewmaster monk, was tanking and aoeing everything everywhere
You must have done something wrong.
Brann speced as heal help immensely!

what if you do this guide while queueing as dps on time walking dungeon? doesnt that make it more effective experience wise?
No, it doesn't.
Well done you complete maniac. Very well done.
Heyo! Do you have a leveling from 10-70 guide aswell?

9:30 while Brann is pcractically useless as DPS, he is good as a healer. Easily lets you pull more mobs each pull so faster complete times ;)
This is true for higher level delves, sure, but most leveling characters are completely invincible. I can pull entire delves on many specs at lower levels and my healthbar won't even move.
Is there a good way to find the dreamsurge in DF?
Unfortunately the map indicators that they added in Dragonflight were broken with the new expansion, and Blizzard still hasn't fixed this. You'll just need to fly into each zone until you see the buffs appear.
Do you want to build this route to be uploaded into AAP?
Wonder if there is a WoW-Pro Guide route for this
There is not, but you can make one if you want.
How does this compare to dungeon spam as tank?

@@Harldan1 Thanks for the reply mate, appreciate it. Keep up the great work with ya content. Long time watcher.
Tried this.. over an hour has passed and I am yet to hit 71......
Not a very useful thing to comment. Clearly you misunderstood part of the guide, if you have a question I can try to answer.
👏💪
I hate Brann so much. I don't get mad at this game often but Brann spikes my blood pressure more often than I'd like....
Does anyone else feel squishy as a fresh 70 in TWW zones even with full heirlooms set? T_T

Your timer changes constantly lol?
This is a guide? I'm using footage from multiple different speedruns.
dreaming winds no longer exists from dragonflight zones T_T
Yes it does.
Druids suffer with this route. No real damage, it takes too long to accomplish!
or you just cant deal damage? my boomie rape all monsters. check ur talents first
profession leveling is just plain not worth it.

@@Harldan1 sometimes it gives 2 levels, sometimes barely 1.
@@HunnysPlaylists The XP isn't random, so I'm not sure what you mean.
