Just leveled a priest in about 5 hours from 10 to 70 with 25 percent buff. Did elwynn, westfall, start of shadow moon valley to the garrison, gorgrond bonus objectives and loch modan while being qued for dungeons for burning crusade. Gonna try a different route for my next character however
I just lvled a dk from 1-80 in about 7 hours. I used to follow the guide you suggest here, but tried to do the "immortal" lvling in dragonflight this time, and doing that along with time walking dungeons made it real fast. When I got to khaz algar, I jsut did world quests in warmode inbetween dungeons (the amount of bloody tokens you get are really good for some fast ilvl gear whn you hit 80)
Still works pretty well, I was actually 60 something by the time I got to Draenor by following it, although there were maybe points where I should have quit questing in say Redridge or Duskwood, due to lower efficiency of continued questing. I completed both zones, and most of the Dwarf Zone. All told I was a little over 5.25 hours by the time I hit 70, and there were a ton of inefficiencies in how I was leveling.
I’m not sure how much feedback you get but I know for a fact people are using your methods. I just came back to WOW after years of not playing and the first thing I noticed was higher level characters in my zones. Definitely going to try this out because I have a sneaking suspicion now that it’s great. Thank you for sharing your experience, loved the video

@@spidzcats there was plenty of "adults" finding time back in the days, blizzard just doing poor adjustments to previous expansions zones because they don't know how to fix the leveling system anymore. Leveling is fun, there's tons of things people are missing out to spam the same raid and the same mythics every day.
If you want to skip the intro of Draenor you just have to forget the mission to talk to Khadgar before entering the portal and enter through the portal and you will skip the intro and go directly to the construction of the citadel.
which timelines have the best dungeons for spamming? its been awhile since I've used dungeon finder for anything so I'm not entirely sure how it all works exactly. You mentioned Cataclysm gives classic dungeons, but hitting Gnomeragon feels tragic in its own way. Are there any dungeons that just dont feel worth the time you need to put into them?
I think I have 7 lvl 80s now. I really enjoy all the specs. That said, scaling is broken at some lvls. For instance we lvl so quick now that when you hit 60 the gear being rewarded is close to 300+ or so and you might only be 170-200 ilvl. At 70 Dragonflight WQs give 450+ ilvl gear while TWW quests and WQs are significantly less than that. It doesn't make sense.
Yeah the ilvl difference between TWW content and DF WQ'S at lvl 70 is insane. They could just make the lvl 70 gear that you get from doing TWW content scale up from the highest WQ gear you can get in DF 🥴
for me from 1 to 10 i do starter quests then from 10 to 70 i do follower dungeons if you look at them as just for xp and not doing to get gear can be alot better the gear drop system in them dungeons are abysmal can do a whole dungeon and get no gear so lower expectations and wont be disappointed and can get alot of gold on my lower alt i got under 50 gold a run maybe a bit less that will go up the higher your characters level once max level i will go through raids to try and improve my gear then rinse and repeat i currently came back weeks ago and have to get 4 main toons to get from lv40 to 70 working on one at a time and do about 2 to 3 dungeons a day if i can get a level or two a day great tho i love the warbound feature just wish it included the regenants bank to and extra tabs

It kinda depends on in which expansion most people are leveling at that moment because of queue times. For dungeon spamming I think it's either classic or tbc dungeons. Not sure though x)

@@djmulder The above method is still better because your 1-70 characters get reduced xp when grouped with a 71 and above character. The only thing you can do with your max lvl character is use party sync with your lower level ones but that would be kinda useless since you will be scaled to their level.

For 1-70 as a new player you have to quest in dragonflight till you're level 70. There's not much more to it. Spam dungeons while questing if you want to reach 70 a bit faster.
They really fucked up the gear progression with level scaling and made it even worse in TWW. Leveling without heirlooms is becoming increasingly worse since the quest rewards don't give you enough gear to keep up with your level and therefor the enemy level. It's not as bad if you spam dungeons but damn... questing is just not fun that way.
man, i feel like im missing some secret double/triple exp buff. because it took me nearly 5 hours just to get from 30-50 with this. Still, not a bad time tbh for a newer player.
It would be great for those that like leveling alts to try out new classes and specs. I loved having the 300% increased xp potion back in MoP paired with the heirlooms that gave xp as well. Getting to lvl 90 in 3 hours was awesome haha.
You can level from 1-70 in about 4hrs if the radiant echos thing is still up in Dalaran. Then from 70-80 in about 1hr or 2 spamming 70-80 dungeons only bc of the scaling issue going on.

Make sure to do the delve tour starting at 77 and a half ish. Take about an hour and you’ll hit 80

Depends on which lvl bracket, from 70-80 yes. 1-70 depends if you can handle random people that don't know how to press a button x)

I just looked at which class/race combo looked cool/ funny and started leveling alts based on that.

gear and look up a guide on wow head and follow it. but yes, mainly gear and maybe your talents/rotation has changed
Frost is strong in its coldown period, always put death and decay on the ground and go for your big cds
Speaking of leveling do the new evoker class start at level one or is it like all the new hero classes that started at a higher level

The 70-80 could maybe be faster if you boost your alts with a 580 ilvl tank through random dungeons.

How would Follower Dungeons in lvl 60-70 compare to PuGs in that same range, XP-wise?
As far as I know follower dungeons don't give any end of dungeon completion xp so it won't give you as much as a random dungeon.

If you're a new player you have to first level in dragonflight till lvl 70. After that your new characters can use chromie time.

For 1-70 as a new player you have to quest in dragonflight till you're level 70. There's not much more to it. Spam dungeons while questing if you want to reach 70 a bit faster.
