Though my family came to the "new world" in the 1630s, my heart still thrills to the skirl of the pipes and the natural beauty of the Highlands. I live in Cornwall, and it's considered to be a great place to go (it's really not what people think it is)... It doesn't even come close to Scotland. If it weren't for my kids, I would have been up and gone a while back.

We have travelled around in Scotland in September 2019 (from Glasgow to the Orkneys and back again to Edinburgh, and seen so much, but then not maybe not 1% of this beautiful country and its people. I have both Scottish and French ancestry, among others. My paternal grandmother's maiden name is Moulin and includes, Monier, and Heidet. The area around my hometown in Ohio has three streets bearing those nanes in the area where my ancestors lived. God bless Scotland and France!

My Wallace ancestors came over nine years prior to the civil war. I will never forget how my entire being filled hearing live bagpipes marching. I may only be 25% Scottish but my last name is Wallace and I am proud to have Scottish blood run through my veins.

In Scotland you see all these beautiful fit people walking through out the town. Obesity is fairly rare. Many shop by walking about instead of driving. My eighty three year old mother decided it’s time to go back to her homeland to visit, so we packed up and took her. We went through Glasgow but if I went again Edinburgh would be my entry because there’s so much to see there. I’m taking my grandkids in a couple years. They have to see their roots after high school as they set sites on adulthood so they don’t get lost.
Part of my heritage is Scottish. I love the music. It speaks to my soul somehow. At 70, I'm not sure if going there would be possible, but I sure would like to try.

I had all that beautiful scenery right at my doorstep 🥹 I was born in Poland 🇵🇱 but I was raised in Scotland 🏴 20 years of Scotland in my heart, now that I live in London I miss Scotland, it's the place I will always call home, it will always be a big part of me 🏴 i was lucky to have been raised in the Highlands and love every moment of it when I go back to see family ❤️
I love being Scottish from Edinburgh last year we went to Skye such a magical place . We then went to Harris and Lewis we had a great time and the hospitality was Amazon hoping to go back soon .

That's BECAUSE GOD Himself has DONE the REAL WORK, become the IMAGE and TASTE of SINFUL FLESH, and GOD Himself became the OFFERING for SIN. In this way, MAN CAME DOWN from the CROSS, and was REDEEMED and SAVED THROUGH the FLESH of GOD---the IMAGE of this SINFUL FLESH. That's why, AFTER SATAN'S CAPTIVITY, man was ONE STEP CLOSER to ACCEPTING His SALVATION before GOD. 🙏

The purpose of God's love is to obtain a group of people who worship God and submit to Him. They know what is ugly and how it differs from the holy, and they recognize the greatness of God and the evil of Satan. The bagpipes always stir me. My maternal grandmother's favorite song was "Bluebells of Scotland". She was born in Toronto, but her mother was born in Scotland with lines going back to Old Monkland and Bannockburn. My genetics are 31% Scottish and come from both of my parents. My grandparents all came from all different parts of the USA and Canada. I am also of Irish, Welsh, English, French, German, including Native American, Swedish, and some African ancestry. Many of my European ancestors were in America in the 1600s. I love Family History and Genealogy...and I love Scotland. Thank you for this beautiful and inspiring video.

I had a frien in the Navy who was assigned to the Submarine Task Force in Hollilock Scotland , and there the bowsman mate piped everone on board with a pair of Highland Bagpipes, it was an awesome experience. I love Scotish Highland Bagpipes, the sound so beautiful. I also had the pleasure of hearing the pipers from the Queens Dragoon Watch play the taps before sunset from Edinburgh Castle. I bought my first Scotish bag pipes in Hollilock Scotlad some 20 years a go. I have a thankful Heart for coming across this site.
