It has been nearly 50 years since I was in the Spartan Band. This and the kick step cadence still stir my blood and transport me back to those days. Go State!
t3subde My school has been using since the 70s I believe our original director went to MSU and received the sheet music. And it's just been something we've kept as part of our tradition. A long with straight ones at marching festival for 59 years.
Don't be so quick to judge. He had just gotten back from Glassmen so he was a little behind, and he was a freshman. He's tapping for Phantom Regiment now. Search "In the Moment Phantom Regiment" on youtube. One tick doesn't define your ability
@@Gaian_Born not everyone hitting the notes at the same time. So it sounds "Dirty". Instead of them hitting the notes at the same time so it sounds "Clean", sounds like just one person is playing instead of 9.
Watching this AGAIN. Loving this AGAIN. 💚💚💚💚

Sounds like a demon ritual. And who the hell called them to attention at the beginning? They sounded... special...
JacksonAndLansing Railroad obviously it was a low effort command. Probably didn’t feel like shouting in a small enclosed area like the ballroom
Okay, this will be my third comment asking ''What do you mean''?
trollin or not.... dirty for a college line
hello it was like 3 days into the season lol.
I know this was published a long time ago, but if anyone sees this, can you please tell me what that means??
@@Gaian_Born you mean being “dirty”?

clean ,but boring af
Really??
How so? What would make it more interesting af?
This cadence is probably around 50+ years old. Earliest recording I have heard is from ‘66. They stay true to the original but still make it modern.
no flavor....
What's more flavorful? Could anyone explain??
Tenors at 2:30. Jesus.
