DISCLAIMER: As I stated in my video, just because I'm decluttering something does not mean the fragrance isn't amazing or that I don't love it (unless I legitimately don't like it, in which case I've discussed that in previous reviews). I discover so many new fragrances every week/month and I am not a "collector", which means I choose to declutter every now and again. Please don't take it to heart if you have one of the fragrances mentioned! :). I'm a perfume lover but I'm a minimalist at heart so I won't be keeping every single fragrance I speak about! Wish I could buy pink sugar from you as it is not available in India but no clue how that will work. But love some of the decluttered fragrances. As rightly said it is always better to keep the ones you really love
Your declutter is literally a lot of fragrance lovers wishlist. One person's trash is another's treasure. This is why people should experience a fragrance themselves to get the full effect.

I am trying to get to 4 fragrances for each season...just my absolute favourites, my go to’s 16 fragrances...I think that is enough for me ....it’s going to be tough, I had 80 fragrances in June but I am down to about 35, ....unless I fall in love with it every time I spray and it just gives me that special feeling when I wear it it’s not staying .. So far I am absolutely keeping Coco Mad, coco noir, No5 L’eau ..I just adore them ! ...Summer scents I have just loved this summer Burberry Blush, DG Light Blue, Narciso Rodriguez for her, I will keep and repurchase these....along withAlien, My Burberry Black, Jo Malone Velvet Rose and oud Also, ..that’s nine confirmed...I need a couple of heavy hitters for winter ❄️ Maybe look to Mancera and Frédéric Malle ..

I agree with Prada Candy, is a beautiful scent but the performance is very weak. Pink Sugar, I can’t tolerate, too sweet 🤢. I thinking about purchasing Narciso Rodriguez Poudree. I want some different from my small perfume collection!
Hi, I enjoy your content. However, I've noticed that you mentioned a few times about perfumes going bad. Just to share a tip, if you keep them out of direct light and at a constant temperature they will last for years. As a fellow collector with over 300 different Fragrances, I keep mine on organized shelving in my closet.... easy to see all of them and to choose what I will wear that day. All the while they are in the dark and away from frequent temperature changes. I've yet to have one bottle go "off".

I kept mine stored in my closet on shelves for years but part of me was like I want to enjoy these beautiful bottles. I decided to pull out my spring & summer fragrances and put them on display while keeping my cold weather fragrances stored in my closet. When fall hits, I will switch them out lol. I want them to last but I want to enjoy the bottles too

I keep mine in a dark cabinet, but I have a small collection of minis displayed on top of the cabinet. I don’t care as much if the minis go bad, and they’re so cute.
I just discovered your channel and it is honestly the channel I need to be watching as I try to declutter my perfumes but just end up buying more to replace what I just got rid of. It's a vicious cycle. I want to be a minimalist too!
There is something about Elie Saab le parfum (and the intense) that I can’t get with. It’s been in my declutter pile for a while. I recently purchased le parfum in white and it’s beautiful but the longevity is absolutely disappointing 😩
I understand the tought proces behind decluter.Bad Performance,Bad memories,have similar fragnances,dont keep just because of beautifull bottle,you have outgrown some,other ones just dont work and its ok to explore the new ones,theres no reason to treasure something that we are not useing Love the video 💜.
This is a very impressive declutter! I am getting ready to do a declutter as well, and I thought I was very decisive in deciding what to let go, but you inspired me to be more ruthless in my decisions. 😍👍 If I don't use or love something, then it needs to go, even if I love the bottle.
This is amazing!! I just decluttered as well (again!). I think I’m down to 88 bottles now! Go me!! Haha!! Decluttering is very personal and I wish everyone would just take it at face value and stop analyzing someone trying to downsize. Oh I love Chance eau fraîche. None of the Chance flankers does it for me, although they are nice. I used to wear it quite a long time ago, and this summer I just felt the urge to own it again. I kind of regret not purchasing it as this summer's fragrance. To me it is THE perfect fresh summer scent. Not sweet (I am not a big sweet scents fan), clean, fresh, but with so much depth and complexity. And Elie Saab Le parfum is on my wishlist. Good job with the decluttering!
I blind bought eli saab edp during the lock down a few months ago. The opening is really nice, very fresh and classic but the dry down reminds me so much of narcisso edp and edt perfume ( the tall pink bottle and black bottle). I thought I was imagining it , but the dry down is quite powdery which I’m not a big fan of. But the bottle is absolutely gorgeous
I can understand this de clutter .. I have never really been a fan of department store designer fragrances with the exception of Prada Iris and Chanel No 5. Once I discovered niche boutique fragrances houses like Bond No 9 , Creed, Maison Francis Kurjuistan , Tom Ford and Parfumes De Marley and even Maison Lancôme fragrances & others I’ve never turned back

I find it (un-nervingly) fascinating when people have to interject NON constructive crticism (especially when they don't have a channel) regarding how content creators create *their* content. Moving on to more important topics. Regarding the Splendidia Bvlgari, is Jasmine the most predominant note during the middle and how is it's longevity? It's my favorite flower as well. And which do you find to be the most predominant note in the dry down; Cashmeran, Tonka, Or Patchouli?
Definitely Tonka and cashmeran. The patchouli would be a supporting note for longevity maybe. It’s a smooth creamy jasmine.:) I haven’t worn it enough to really tell too much detail regarding where the jasmine begins and ends :)

Loved this declutter. I just sold Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue because it had a note that set off my allergies. Headaches are often because the perfume irritates/inflames your sinus passages. If you notice a scent giving you a headache spraying, try spraying into a cotton ball and dabbing to prevent the droplets from entering your nose. If you still get a headache, the fragrance contains something that triggers an allergic reaction. It might be a citrus allergy. I know I have sneezing fits when orange blossoms are abundant. I love orange blossoms, but I can't visit an orchard without a fit. If a perfume has too much orange blossom elements or juniper elements, it will trigger a reaction.
I love this video ! That’s exactly where I am in this journey LOL collecting perfumes isn’t as nice as it is enjoying and wearing the heck out of your favorite perfumes. I’ve said this before, but I just can’t become desensitized towards my love of perfumes. I’d rather be WOWed than just wear something as if it is a random house shirt. Love it. ❤️

What a declutter, you must have really thought this through. I agree with you on Elie Saab le parfum, something in there gives me a headache. That Serge Lutens was a big disappointment for me, bought it years ago and it didn't last on me, I was gutted since I spent quite a bit on it. I think you will like chanel 19 poudre cody. ☺️ Anyway, you did well on your declutter and I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision to make. 🤗
Surprised you let Chloè go! One of my 4 signatures for work - I bought the new Chloè Tangerine Rose yesterday (blind buy). So far, I'm not ga-ga over it, but I'll wear it to work till it runs out, but probably won't repurchase, but L'eau on the other hand, is incredible! I alternate between the EDP and the L'eau - which is the Chloè that lasts the longest on me despite being an EDT. Just finished a bottle of Absolu - loved it, but sadly, I couldn't really smell it on myself, so kept spraying throughout the day and used up a 50 ml bottle in less than 2 weeks..but I had cravings for the opening of Absolu all the time, like a pick-me-up throughout the day - really gorgeous, just wished it lasted longer.I have used up 2 bottles the past months of Chloè Fleur EDP, but to me, it's rather similar to the Signature EDP.
I love Chloe EDP trust me it was a hard decision but I realized after having three Chloes in my collection that I just want the Absolu version.:). I keep hearing the l’eau is amazing!
Elie Saab Le Parfum was too heavy and too floral for me. I can definitely see it being headache inducing. Anything with such heavy Jasmine reminds me of when I drink Jasmine green tea on an empty stomach and I get nauseous.
I ordered Chanel chance tendre edp and so excited to receive it. I tried the tester in store 3 times and omg the opening smells amazing . Dry down is equally amazing. I also tried Chanel chance fresh (green bottle) , I wasn’t a bit fan in the first 20 mins , but the dry down surprises me . So classic but not too out dated. I kept the tester cards in my makeup drawer to make the space smell nice

I have given quite a few bottles of perfume (at least 10) to my mum, friends & my son’s girlfriend. I think if they’re not my favourite or I don’t love them enough, other people would enjoy them a lot more. 😃
A better version of Prada Candy is Kenzo Flower L’elixir. People compare it to Candy all the time but I feel it is 100x better. It’s bourbon vanilla, praline, orange blossom, raspberry with some musk/powder without being overly powdery because I hate powdery “old lady” perfumes. It is an absolute beast in terms of performance! And a sexy unique gourmand. Highly recommend
I am always surprised how some of them go from absolutely must have/favorites/love etc. to declutter a couple of weeks. I understand if they have had it for a while and don like it anymore, tastes change or seasonal frags but in a few weeks is crazy.
@@maddyg282 I find it weird too, but I think this covid thing is causing alot of people to do impulse buying including myself and for those who spends big bucks or review perfumes may need to slow down or just stop buying for awhile as it will eliminate decluttering so often or buy samples instead of full bottles.
I honestly totally understand her. I know it sounds crazy but some of us have a strong scent intuition. We’re so connected with them that it can affect our emotions, chemistry, thinking and feeling. It’s kind of like when you have a favorite song and after hearing it so much you still appreciate it but it does get old. It also irks us to see perfumes that are also not being used when we can sell it and have that money instead. It makes us feel guilty for having it. We’re perfume hoes but we appreciate the fun each one gave us.
I can also tell she’s very honest and she isn’t just advertising perfumes because of how descriptive she is about each and every one of them. You can’t make stuff up like that. She literally sounds like me. We have such passion for them and even though it’s hard to let go, it’s easier when we think that we are making room for an even better one.
Have you tried Kenzo Flower l’Elixir? It’s VERY similar to Prada Candy but with WAY better performance. It’s not that easy to find here in Canada but The Bay carries it!
I just decluttered my Chanel L'eau too. I like Chanel Eau Premiere better. It's so hard to let go sometimes so I completely get it. I have sold quite a few and I had some I just was holding on to. I love my Narciso Ambree... but I sometimes go back and forth with it as well.
The Elie Saab Le parfum is probably the one one from the list I’ve tried and enjoyed, and it had to grow on me. At this point my decant is enough for me. Im thinking of doing a similar declutter with my collection soon just because I know I have some I like less than others. There is only one I know for sure I want to declutter though. I recently pre-ordered Blondine (I’ve been using a decant) and I’ll be getting samples of their new collection. I truly enjoy the full line, I’ll probably end up buying a couple more eventually but will need to save up.
Would you say La Belle smells anything like Pure Xs? I’m curious because I’ve smelled Pure Xs and it has a slight smell like Fritos 😂 I think because of the popcorn note. Also is La Belle a fragrance you can pass up? Your perception of fragrance is so accurate to me by the way.
I enjoy your decluttering videos and have been guilty of loving and buying a perfume, and never wearing it! I think I'm now leaning towards easy to wear scents (5-10 max). If it doesn't feel like "me", I won't wear it no matter how nice it smells or how much it is hyped up in reviews!
I had to declutter that guerlain. It was SO strong and smelled like artificial, medicated cough syrup to me lol agreed, NOT a safe blind buy. I was so bummed because of the beautiful bottle 😂 I have to be so careful with any rose scents even if its not a main note because my skin amplifies it SO much.

I also want to visit the Les Exclusif line!! I don't have a boutique in my town. I decided to make it a very special"me day," and scheduled an appointment in the City (SF), for Black Friday 😍. That might seem crazy but I'tll be an adventure and I think a great day! I will spend the entire day in Luxury at Chanel and other Luxury boutiques as my Christmas gift to my self. Not sure if they still have it, but they had a mini set of the majority of the line. It’s pretty close to the price of a full bottle for the set, but it’s a fantastic way to try many of them.
All the bottles are beautiful. Have none of these though. I have the Elie Sabb. Purchase it at the Perfume Museum in Paris. I would take that one off of you. Let me know if you still have it.

All your decluttering videos are just fine. People are taking this too seriously. Lol. I stopped blind buying fragrances unless they have notes I know I love. I don’t have a wide range of different fragrances, I stick with Vanilla or oriental types for cool weather and Tiare Coconut or Fig type fragrances for when it’s warm.
@@dueseason all the fig fragrances I have had are discontinued or limited edition now but you can still find them. Elie Saab Resort Collection (Blue bottle) The Body Shop Italian Summer Fig, Philosophy Sweet Vanilla Fig and Flagrant Delice Terry de Gunzburg. I can’t speak for any others.

I have bought some fragrances that I didn’t like before based on UA-camrs but I charged it to the game and now I am more cautious of what I buy, knowing the notes that I like and dislike and by doing more research.

I picked up this fragrance habit during Covid-19 and before I shop too much (leading to decluttering), I recently just stopped.
Same for 2020-2021 to me! I was alone during lockdown and started blind buying out of boredom🥲 Now I'm wanting to sell at least 5 perfumes

I would keep pink sugar or prada candy, they are really good to lair with a perfume that we feel its not sweet enought

Oh I love Chance eau fraîche. None of the Chance flankers does it for me, although they are nice. I used to wear it quite a long time ago, and this summer I just felt the urge to own it again. I kind of regret not purchasing it as this summer's fragrance. To me it is THE perfect fresh summer scent. Not sweet (I am not a big sweet scents fan), clean, fresh, but with so much depth and complexity. And Elie Saab Le parfum is on my wishlist. Good job with the decluttering!
Chloe EDP is my daily scent, but we still love a declutter!!

I blind bought eli saab edp during the lock down a few months ago. The opening is really nice, very fresh and classic but the dry down reminds me so much of narcisso edp and edt perfume ( the tall pink bottle and black bottle). I thought I was imagining it , but the dry down is quite powdery which I’m not a big fan of. But the bottle is absolutely gorgeous
I can understand this de clutter .. I have never really been a fan of department store designer fragrances with the exception of Prada Iris and Chanel No 5. Once I discovered niche boutique fragrances houses like Bond No 9 , Creed, Maison Francis Kurjuistan , Tom Ford and Parfumes De Marley and even Maison Lancôme fragrances & others I’ve never turned back

Moving on to more important topics. Regarding the Splendidia Bvlgari, is Jasmine the most predominant note during the middle and how is it's longevity? It's my favorite flower as well. And which do you find to be the most predominant note in the dry down; Cashmeran, Tonka, Or Patchouli?
Definitely Tonka and cashmeran. The patchouli would be a supporting note for longevity maybe. It’s a smooth creamy jasmine.:) I haven’t worn it enough to really tell too much detail regarding where the jasmine begins and ends :)

Loved this declutter. I just sold Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue because it had a note that set off my allergies. Headaches are often because the perfume irritates/inflames your sinus passages. If you notice a scent giving you a headache spraying, try spraying into a cotton ball and dabbing to prevent the droplets from entering your nose. If you still get a headache, the fragrance contains something that triggers an allergic reaction. It might be a citrus allergy. I know I have sneezing fits when orange blossoms are abundant. I love orange blossoms, but I can't visit an orchard without a fit. If a perfume has too much orange blossom elements or juniper elements, it will trigger a reaction.

What a declutter, you must have really thought this through. I agree with you on Elie Saab le parfum, something in there gives me a headache. That Serge Lutens was a big disappointment for me, bought it years ago and it didn't last on me, I was gutted since I spent quite a bit on it.

Surprised you let Chloè go! One of my 4 signatures for work - I bought the new Chloè Tangerine Rose yesterday (blind buy). So far, I'm not ga-ga over it, but I'll wear it to work till it runs out, but probably won't repurchase, but L'eau on the other hand, is incredible! I alternate between the EDP and the L'eau - which is the Chloè that lasts the longest on me despite being an EDT. Just finished a bottle of Absolu - loved it, but sadly, I couldn't really smell it on myself, so kept spraying throughout the day and used up a 50 ml bottle in less than 2 weeks..but I had cravings for the opening of Absolu all the time, like a pick-me-up throughout the day - really gorgeous, just wished it lasted longer.I have used up 2 bottles the past months of Chloè Fleur EDP, but to me, it's rather similar to the Signature EDP.
I love Chloe EDP trust me it was a hard decision but I realized after having three Chloes in my collection that I just want the Absolu version.:). I keep hearing the l’eau is amazing!

Elie Saab Le Parfum was too heavy and too floral for me. I can definitely see it being headache inducing. Anything with such heavy Jasmine reminds me of when I drink Jasmine green tea on an empty stomach and I get nauseous.
I had migraine lasting for 2 full days after spraying it on my neck. I literally had to take a shower to get over the smell.
I ordered Chanel chance tendre edp and so excited to receive it. I tried the tester in store 3 times and omg the opening smells amazing . Dry down is equally amazing. I also tried Chanel chance fresh (green bottle) , I wasn’t a bit fan in the first 20 mins , but the dry down surprises me . So classic but not too out dated. I kept the tester cards in my makeup drawer to make the space smell nice
I have yet to smell the EDP version of eau Tendre!
The Simple Chic Life according to the sales lady, both tendre edp and edt smell the same but edp just lasts longer.

I have given quite a few bottles of perfume (at least 10) to my mum, friends & my son’s girlfriend. I think if they’re not my favourite or I don’t love them enough, other people would enjoy them a lot more. 😃

A better version of Prada Candy is Kenzo Flower L’elixir. People compare it to Candy all the time but I feel it is 100x better. It’s bourbon vanilla, praline, orange blossom, raspberry with some musk/powder without being overly powdery because I hate powdery “old lady” perfumes. It is an absolute beast in terms of performance! And a sexy unique gourmand. Highly recommend

I am always surprised how some of them go from absolutely must have/favorites/love etc. to declutter a couple of weeks. I understand if they have had it for a while and don like it anymore, tastes change or seasonal frags but in a few weeks is crazy.
@@maddyg282 I find it weird too, but I think this covid thing is causing alot of people to do impulse buying including myself and for those who spends big bucks or review perfumes may need to slow down or just stop buying for awhile as it will eliminate decluttering so often or buy samples instead of full bottles.

I honestly totally understand her. I know it sounds crazy but some of us have a strong scent intuition. We’re so connected with them that it can affect our emotions, chemistry, thinking and feeling. It’s kind of like when you have a favorite song and after hearing it so much you still appreciate it but it does get old. It also irks us to see perfumes that are also not being used when we can sell it and have that money instead. It makes us feel guilty for having it.
We’re perfume hoes but we appreciate the fun each one gave us.
I can also tell she’s very honest and she isn’t just advertising perfumes because of how descriptive she is about each and every one of them. You can’t make stuff up like that. She literally sounds like me. We have such passion for them and even though it’s hard to let go, it’s easier when we think that we are making room for an even better one.
Have you tried Kenzo Flower l’Elixir? It’s VERY similar to Prada Candy but with WAY better performance. It’s not that easy to find here in Canada but The Bay carries it!

I just decluttered my Chanel L'eau too. I like Chanel Eau Premiere better. It's so hard to let go sometimes so I completely get it. I have sold quite a few and I had some I just was holding on to.
I love my Narciso Ambree... but I sometimes go back and forth with it as well.

The Elie Saab Le parfum is probably the one one from the list I’ve tried and enjoyed, and it had to grow on me. At this point my decant is enough for me. Im thinking of doing a similar declutter with my collection soon just because I know I have some I like less than others. There is only one I know for sure I want to declutter though.
I recently pre-ordered Blondine (I’ve been using a decant) and I’ll be getting samples of their new collection. I truly enjoy the full line, I’ll probably end up buying a couple more eventually but will need to save up.

You should try Zadig and Voltaire This is Her perfume. Its a beautiful creamy sandalwood fragrance which lasts a long time on skin and clothes.

If you like vanilla you should try Diptique - Eau Duelle . Thats my favourite winter time vanilla perfume . It's unisex so i would say try it first
Would you say La Belle smells anything like Pure Xs? I’m curious because I’ve smelled Pure Xs and it has a slight smell like Fritos 😂 I think because of the popcorn note. Also is La Belle a fragrance you can pass up? Your perception of fragrance is so accurate to me by the way.

I had to declutter that guerlain. It was SO strong and smelled like artificial, medicated cough syrup to me lol agreed, NOT a safe blind buy. I was so bummed because of the beautiful bottle 😂 I have to be so careful with any rose scents even if its not a main note because my skin amplifies it SO much.
Totally agree with you. I had to gave away mine because I couldn't tolarate how artificial it smelled.

Not sure if they still have it, but they had a mini set of the majority of the line. It’s pretty close to the price of a full bottle for the set, but it’s a fantastic way to try many of them.

All your decluttering videos are just fine. People are taking this too seriously. Lol. I stopped blind buying fragrances unless they have notes I know I love. I don’t have a wide range of different fragrances, I stick with Vanilla or oriental types for cool weather and Tiare Coconut or Fig type fragrances for when it’s warm.
What fig fragrances would you recommend??
@@dueseason all the fig fragrances I have had are discontinued or limited edition now but you can still find them. Elie Saab Resort Collection (Blue bottle) The Body Shop Italian Summer Fig, Philosophy Sweet Vanilla Fig and Flagrant Delice Terry de Gunzburg. I can’t speak for any others.

I have bought some fragrances that I didn’t like before based on UA-camrs but I charged it to the game and now I am more cautious of what I buy, knowing the notes that I like and dislike and by doing more research.
