- Hey guys! Today I'm going through as sort of a therapeutic and fun exercise for myself and deciding whether I love or like a perfume, or if it's something I can look at "leaving" in the future. There are a few that were immediate declutters from this video and there were a few that are sort of on the fence but I'm still going to keep them for now. I hope you enjoy this, and find these types of videos as therapeutic and relaxing as I do. Yay for long perfume videos!

I don’t understand the love for Chanel no5. It’s classic yes because it’s been around forever, but I think it smells so aged and old lady. Oh gah I do not like it lol

You killed me with Chloe...i feel like Chloe perfumes are quite synthetic but ... but .... Nomade is sooo classy,not punchy...I've ordered the nomade absolu because i smelled it in Sephora and i loooved it. I can barely wait to receive it 😻 I've been wanting for so long a perfume like this

My most favourite de clutter bottle was the Daisy... it was like finally letting go of the past for good because it serves no purpose in this beautiful present. Stay safe and happy beautiful 😘😘
I want to thank you for two of your previous recommendations: Roses Vanille and Whispers in the Library. I am lucky because I usually over spray Roses Vanille and it never seems overbearing or headache inducing. It's more of a home scent though, so maybe others would think differently. And Whispers in the Library, another home scent. I wear it for me and think of libraries and books, two of my favorite things....

I’m finally in a place mentally where I’m happy to declutter the bottles that are just 3 out of 5 stars. It’s nice that we have ways to connect with and pass those on to people who Love them.

Not Coco Noir. I felt the same way when I first got it and didn’t touch it for months. I’ve been wearing it recently and I love it. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it. You should keep giving it a try. I’m sure you will love it ! Great video as always :)

I bought it in winter, and in summer it was a big surprise. For me, it is not a "noir" class, but i love the fragrance.

So I've had 'Tom Ford- Noir Pour Femme' on my wish list for some time now from all the hype from the frag community and was dying to try it out. Finally got a travel size of it and what a disappointment?! So not for me! Way too masculine! I just can't do it!
I also got 'Valentino- Valentina Poudree' upon your recommendation and I love it! I even have it on now as I type. Very cozy, comforting, and just an all round beautiful fragrance!

Unfortunately the Burberry black had a reaction of some sort on my skin so I returned it. The Brit I gifted to a friend as she loved it more than I did 💕

My LA Vie Est Belle Intense is a dark pinkish color..I see yours is a yellowish/greenish color! Why are the colors different?
since I feel that I share a lot of favorites with you I could recommend D&G L'imperatrice and armani sì.both of them are great in my opinion,I think you would like them too specially the first one.

I was so disappointed with the Philosophy Fresh Cream Cashmere. No lasting power at all. I took it back. Thanks to your videos I brought Olympea and I love it so much. I’m also loving Casablanca Swiss Arabian!! Love these videos.

Lovely video! I find it hard sometimes to find a way to display perfumes very nicely. Sometimes I do it by brand, by note, by colour of the bottle.
Yes it’s always a process.. I don’t know what the perfect way is. This is just more or less so I can keep them out of the sun:) otherwise I’d have them on my dresser

Thank you so much 😊 It's not super organized but it's the best I can do right now. ideally I'd have really nice glass shelves to display them on. I'm going to be moving in the next couple of years which is why I haven't invested in something like that.

Put some drops of crazy glue inside that juicy couture cap and let it dry completely. That will make your cap stick to the bottle again. Works for me. Just be careful not to make it drip or else when it dries up it will look ugly especialy if the cap is see through. Just small drops.
Nice video ;) for some reason I find the Ariana Grande bottles sooooo tacky, along with the Juicy Couture.... but the juice itself, are descent. I wish they still made Armani Code Cashmere and Satin :/ I never had the chance to try them out 😔

Personally I'm very picky about scents because I easily get headaches and also a lot of fragrances smell the same to me lol so I only keep a few ones that I really really love but I still enjoy watching your videos 😍 Since you have so many perfumes that you keep and like/love I was wondering if you can tell them all apart just by smelling them? 🤔 I don't know if I would be able to if I had that many but as I said I'm not really a perfume person 😅 I think it would be fun to see a video where someone would spray random perfumes from your collection and have you guess which perfume it is! 😊 If you don't already have a video like that (new subscriber haha)

I thought I was the only one who couldn’t distinguish the smell of D&G the one desire. You described it perfectly. I have no idea what I’m smelling 😂😂 I brought because of the caramel. I owned the original but I decluttered it (it has decent lasting power and you can detect vanilla but it just had a lot going on) . The one desire smells similar but the scent disappears quickly.
I prefer the original the one to the one desire. I also like the only one and the only one intense more as well. Yeah Desire was just sort of vague ! Strange. lol :) glad i'm not the only one who felt that way.

I loooove how princess smells but it doesn’t last on me at all either!
Tonight I sprayed it underneath my shirt - just a couple of small sprays. I can smell it wafting up through my top. I think having it held closer to my skin keeps it there. it's very pleasant. I still don't know if I'll buy a whole bottle of it.
I think it’s just disappointing especially for the price. I still like it though so I might try that.
Have you tried the Mon Guerlain Bloom of Roses EDT?? its so beautiful!!! blind purchased it from watching The Scented's review and i'm so thankful that i did!

How do you feel about DG Lightblue, Armani Diamond, Gucci Guilty and CH Good Girl?
Light blue is unfortunately one of those perfumes that I can't wear, it gives me a headache, but the scent itself is really nice. It's been too long since I've tried Diamonds although it's funny you mention it because I literally saw it theother day and contemplated buying it. Gucci Guilty was ok - a TOUCH too floral for me compared to what I was hoping for with it, and Good Girl is ok but not a favorite. This is all subjective though!! :) I know alot of people love gucci Guilty and Good Girl! Good girl for me is a bit too heady - there's something in it that bothers me and I can't wear it.
I have Kilian Princess and I had the same issue with performance, however it turns out that I had olfactory fatigue. I tried spraying less and avoiding my neck area and I could smell it on myself all day. It seems counterintuitive as when you can’t smell something the temptation is to spray more not less.

My absolute favourite perfume is hypnotic poison ! I love love love mon guerlain the original and the floral one , i don't like miss dior aaat allll , chanel n°5 is a headache for me .. tooo strong i don't like it

Yes - it is from a refill bottle and I never had an original bottle so I put it in this bottle from amazon instead. I explained in a few other videos but I guess I will need to always explain whenever I show it lol :). I've had a few people ask if it was a fake etc but no, it's just an amazon perfume bottle :):):). I could only find the essence absolue refill bottles, not original :)

Off the top of my head, no I don't. The layered dupe is very close like 90-95% similar if you can get that! It's called First Kiss Exclusive.
I got the coco noir and returned it… not as good as the other Channels.
Have you tried Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia? It is a mature version of the original viva la juicy to me.
Omg, please pair Zadig This is Her + Prada Amande. I did this for work the other day and loved it. Im with you regrading rouge malachite....it just wasn't it for me.Im surprised about D&G desire...i definitely get a powdery lychee caramel.

Addict is so confusing to me bc the notes and descriptions seem like it would be right up my alley. However... I HATED it. It makes me feel a little nauseated. This is why blind buys are dangerous! I still do it. But it's always a gamble!

I made the mistake of spraying it on my wrists in Ulta one day. I didn't even consider that I might hate it. The notes seemed so right for me... The UA-camrs said such wonderful things... I had to go around smelling like it for a few hours before I could wash it off. Gross.
Could you do a video of perfumes your partner likes? It would be helpful for us ladies who are looking for a scent that our man will like also!

yes I have, I find it to be a bit too shampoo-y for me. It's pleasant but I don't love it for a perfume :)
Hey. Did you also declutter the BR540 Extrait? Do you prefer the edp to the extrait?
I explained in my br540 video that I gave the extrait to my boyfriend because I thought it suited him better and got the EDP for myself:) I find the extrait to be slightly more masculine than the EDP.
I ordered Casablanca and Florence and I am so unhappy to say I don’t like anything about it. I don’t get any apple in Casablanca 🙊🙊😢😢😢

I need to smell Elie saab le parfum essential because I hear that one is nice but so far I like the Royal :). Manifesto I also haven’t smelled a lot of the flankers because I couldn’t fall in love with the original.

Do you feel like Manceras Roses Vanille has a metallic scent to it? I enjoy mine for the most part but sometimes the metallic scent I get from it can be so overpowering to my nose.
sometimes yes I do - I wouldn't have thought of the word metallic, but yeah it can be very strong and synthetic. I still love it but I have to spray it far away from my face and only one or two sprays :)

Olivia what would you consider the lifetime of a perfume? What would be the longest time? Thanks.
It’s actually “Ilythia” 😊 the lifetime totally depends, if you keep it stored out of the sun and away from heat, it could last a lot longer. Depends how much is used as well, the less that’s in the bottle the faster it will go bad due t oxidization. Some people report perfumes lasting 5 to 10 years! The longest a perfume has lasted me before going off was 5 years but I didn’t store it well:)
