It seems the more I discover I love, the more I realize I can do without some others. Sorry for not listing all of the fragrances this time around. There were far too many. Disclaimer! This is a long video so if you’re not into long videos definitely move along haha:). Have you guys done any recent declutters? If so what did you get rid of?
The Simple Chic Life yes I’ve decluttered the following:
Chanel Coco Noir (performance issues, but I still wanted to feel like it’s close to me so I gifted it to my mom)
Narciso Rouge (I prefer Poudree & Narciso so I gifted that to my mom also)
Ralph Lauren Woman Intense (prefer the original, this one smells generic)
Bottega Venetta edp (watery, leather skin scent, I wanted more oomph & richness)
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir Black Perfecto (beautiful sweet cherried rose drydown but can’t get past the rubber tire opening)
Fragrenza Caramelle Rosse ( baccarat rouge dupe & I already acquired the original)
Dior Pure Poison (clean, laundry, scent which is not my jam)
Givenchy L’ange Noir (smokey lipsticky scent but I’m happy with just my 10mL decant rather than a full 2.5oz bottle)
8 fragrances, I think I did pretty well
Wow yes you did!! I was thinking about decutteirng my coco noir as well just due to performance. WHo knows? :)
The Simple Chic Life yea I’m very attached to my Chanels (as you are) so I figured the best compromise was to gift to a close family member. I don’t work in an office so I don’t see the use for it in my collection unfortunately :/. I came to terms with Chanel being my favorite house for classy, daytime scents instead of deep sexy scents.

And let's add to this - we suggest not blind buying your men. No such thing as a "safe blind buy" - thats like online dating and being like - yep! He'll work fine! * turns out to be terrible * lol

I feel like I’m the only person that hates coco mademoiselle.. I want to like, But I can’t. I had about 10 testers and I ended up throwing them away
I didn't care for it when I first purchased it either. Its ok, I think I'm the only person who doesn't care for Sofia by Sofia Vergara, and to me it doesn't smell like Coco Mademoiselle lol like everyone seems to think! ;)

I love everything about Coco Mademoiselle except that hideous patchouli note. Everything else I love, but the patchouli smells so dirty on my skin. I recently saw that there is a new version coming out called L'Eau Privée without the patchouli note, so I'm crossing my fingers for it!
Hello from over the pond. I have watched a couple of your videos, you have a very pleasant way of addressing your topics. just one little detail... the original Chanel Chance is actually the Eau de Toilette version. The EdP was introduced almost 2 years after. The original EdT has been one of my faves for the last 16 years. Happy moving :)
Chanel chance eau tendre is my favorite scent of all time! (And my husbands). There’s just something so refreshing and intoxicating about it at the same time

I tested that one on the paper and it smelled like shampoo to me. Nice shampoo, sure, but still....shampoo. Does it change a lot on the skin?
Love that scent too. I just wish it didn’t smell too powdery on me. My favorite is the Bulgari Coral.
Great video! I have many fragrances. I luv all of them. Granted, I like some more than others, but each one is unique & special in its own way. I just use one bottle at a time and I wear the same scent until I finish the entire bottle. I find this helps me from acquiring too many fragrances at the same time.
I saw the only one intense in the thumbnail and was 🏃🏻♀️👀. I bought that one last night and had to make sure you weren’t decluttering it! I bought samples of Olympea, Olympea Intense, and TF Noir Pour Femme too. I can’t wait to sniff everything!

Dior Addict is my signature fragrance. I purchased it for a very special formal Christmas party the year it was released and each time I run out, I buy a new bottle because I can't be without it. It's amazing so I'm not surprised it was one of your keepers.

@I comment Everywhere I would recommend you to smell the different versions of poison girl because the edt and edp don‘t smell the same at all. And then there is a completely other version of poison girl which I think is called „unexpected“
I agree with your comment about gold couture! There’s really nothing quite like it. My husband loves it I’m guessing it’s that caramel note that men love. I wish there was something similar, maybe a bit grown up sans the gaudy bottle. I love it to death but the bottle is such an eyesore 😂

Yes - but when I do a giveaway I would prefer to give an unopened, boxed fragrance, not my discarded ones

Just to clarify I've never bought or recommended First Kiss - only the First Kiss Exclusive. Its supposed to be a dupe for Delina exclusif. I don't like First Kiss; and Delina is better than the dupe First Kiss. I have yet to smell Delina Exclusif, but I'm sure it would be better than the dupe just based on what I already have seen :)
I’ve really been wanting to buy La Vie Est Belle, I smelled it in Ulta yesterday and it’s so good omg I’m a beginner in collecting
LVEB is a good basic starter scent, but check out its many flankers, too. I personally enjoy the En Rose and Intensement versions more than the original.

I purchased la petite robe noir & I hate it 🤦🏽♀️ the cherry note is too much for me l. It’s currently on my Mercari. Along with narcisco poudre I just can’t grasp it.
Prada Candy stays forever on the clothes, but not on the skin, but its still one of my holy grail perfume, had 4 or 5 bottles since it came out, dont wear it that often today, just because i have a pretty big fragrance collection. Love your video

I have to try the Flowerbomb EDP. I have the EDT and looooooove the scent but it doesn’t last on me at all. Obsessed with perfumes but my skin is such a fragrance drinker, I have to use intense fragrances or overspray (including on clothing).
I will have to agree with the Pink Sugar, I like it, but I just can’t bring myself to wear it, I actually gave it to my 14 yr old. She absolutely loves it!! BTW no subscriber, I am a makeup hoarder who is now really getting into fragrances and am so glad I found your channel!!🙌💜

@cody-marie Have you tried all of the Chance flankers? If so, which is your favorite? I also only have JC Gold because my husband loves it :)
its hard for me to decide - my favorite Chance is the EDP followed by the EDT - I really like Eau Vive, Tendre is ok - a bit too generic/fruity for me - I'm still debating the Eau Fraiche even though I've not purchased it yet. :). And isn't it funny how men like the Juicy Coutures? haha:)

What do you think of D&G the only one? The original? I thought it was too sweet at first but when I use it I just love it and I sort of crave using it. The only one intense I thought I loved but in fact I never reach for it and it doesn’t make me feel good in the same way as the only one original.

I really don't know what it is with my skin and Chanel fragrances. They only last 1-2 hours on me. But I like Chance, Coco Noir (?), no. 5 l'eau & premiere 💖
Sometimes the fragrance is there and everyone else can smell it except for yourself

Hey, I was just curious if Chanel Chance EDP is worth it or Gucci 2? I'm more into gourmands but I'm really willing to try out chanel for the first time as a blind purchase!
I have not smelld the Gucci II - I wish I had! I have heard so many amazing things about it. I blind bought most of my Chanels because I could not smell them during earlier COVID. But the Chance's I smelled in person once things started to open up and I was in love at first sniff.
I feel like I want to declutter about 90% of my perfumes collection. I started to collect perfume for a wrong reason and those perfumes remind me / taking me back to that moment. Anyway, I would like to recommend the Nobile 1942 Perdizione if you like sweet perfume. The opening is a bit sharp thanks to the lavender note, but the dry down is really sweet and reminds me so much of Kilian Love don't be shy. The price is much cheaper than Kilian.

How would you compare Chanel number 5 L’eau with eau premiere? I haven’t had a chance to smell them in person. Which one do you prefer? Btw I’m loving the Chanel coco edt it’s so gorgeous! 🥰 I also feel the same way about Delina. I have Delina, Delina exclusif and Meliora that I don’t want anymore! I regret purchasing them
hi! :). L'eau and eau Premiere are totally different. They both have the original no 5 aldehyde smell - that strong, airy, crisp smell - but premiere is powdery and soft, more like the original, the l'eau is much lighter with a mega dose of citruses. L;eau is good for warm weather and daytime - premiere would make a good signature scent, office scent, all year round. :)
I am a heavy declutterer as well and I don't see why one should hang on to things they never use, you did well with your decluttering. =)

Dont feel bad about decluttering La Vie Est Belle. Personally I did not like it the first time I smelled it and never bought it. (I actually thought there was something wrong with me🙈) Its not a bad perfume, its actually very pretty but its just not for me🥰

Hi! MJ decadence: some people use to associate it to Mugler Aura. I def hate Aura! but I’d like to buy Decadence (I can’t try it before, here stores doesn’t have it).

yes I've compared it to aura myself before but in the end it's very different - aura is more green, bizarre; decadence is more amber sweet mass pleasing:). I prefer Decadence for sure but that's my personal preference:):):)
Hi , I love SJP lovely and of course Delina, Nomade, Chloe too.I would like to suggest Guerlain Idylle, abit hard to find these days but lovely white floral powdery musky.I am surprised not many people talk about it. Con is logitivity not very good

Yes... I loved it initially but over time it’s become.. too sweet in a wierd way... because I do like sweet.
Same! It’s magical at first if you like sweet but i’m on the last few drops and I can’t bring myself to finish it 😩😖 what I did once I started getting overwhelmed by it I sprayed it two times in the air and then pass by, it helps a lot doesn’t give me as much of a headache anymore

LaVieEsteBelle . I bought bottles of the fakes sprays because I love sweet perfumes. I didn't know they were LVEB inspired. by the time I bought the real one from watching videos I was upset that I had the fakes all along. I love sweet perfumes so this kinda worked out. Lol I really do love my LVEB. 🤗
Good job! I really liked your video! But La vie est belle is one of my favorite one it doesn't bore me! I had two perfumes on my wedding one was La vie est belle gifted to me by my God mother so I wore it. Has beautiful memories... plus I have always compliments!! Best perfume are Mon Guerlain, Tomford pourfemme and Coco mademoiselle,which I can't live without. Thanks 😊 xxx

What nail polish color.are you wearing? It's a Beautiful neutral. I love Hypnotic Poison, Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme, Paco Rabanne Olympea, the Lancome La Vie Est Belle, Lancome La Vie Est Belle Eclat and Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle in your collection. I have them and they work for me. I didnt like Delina but enjoyed Delina Exclusif.
thank you! I'm not sure as this video was a while back - usually it's one of the nude blush colors from Essie or Sally Hansen! These days I always tell people in my videos what color I"m wearing.
I also decluttered my candy long ago with the same reason. Unfortunately, because it is soooo good. But longevity is an important point of view
Yes not only longevity but projection in general. :/. I'm sad about it too but I have powdery perfumes that just perform much better like Valentina Poudre! :)

I dropped it and broke the atomizer and it no longer sprays. I sold it to someone who wanted it for decants:( it makes me sad but I took it as a sign for me to actually wear my perfumes instead of just keeping them on a tray lol.

Even though I don't own too many perfumes, I simply can't get myself to ever declutter.
I don't own alot either. Just starting to build my collection and getting more into it. However, i have over the years given perfumes away to my family that i bought but after wearing i don't like anymore. However, if i have this type of expensive collections, i would find it hard tp let go og any, lol!

I've only had most of these perfumes for less than 6 months - I keep them in a box in a cool dark place, and I only keep the ones out on my dresser that I'm currently wearing or enjoying. After that they go back in the dark and cool :)
Wow ! I was shocked to hear u say Prada Candy doesnt project well! I'm a perfume lover like u and all I can say is of all the perfumes I've EVER worn Prada Candy projects the Absolute best ! I can take a shower snd go to bed and still smell it on my wrist. Somehow u got a bad lot or maybe its the oils in your skin. Perhaps u just need to give it one more try maybe in a roller ball cause it is a stunning gorgeous sophisticated fragrance of which I get compliments everytime I wear it. I do agree about the cap tho. Its awkward and yes it doesnt spray all that well but it will never ever keep me from purchasing. It was love at first smell at Neiman Marcus I believe and still is. Thank u for your reviews, very thot provoking in a real good way.
I've heard some people say it projects well and others claim it doesn't. I think alot of factors go into it, but for me I wasn't nuts about it. I love the fragrance itself :)
Is it true! Paco Rabanne Black XS edt last longer than the parfum
I don’t know about that; the EDT vs EDP; I just know it lasts longer than Pure XS:)
Is coconut the dominant note in D&G the only one intense for women?
I blind bought Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur, and it’s not for me! But, I cannot seem to sell it at all! Any tips?
It might be tough to sell just because you can already buy it for less than $20 - so the shipping might make it not worth it - I think if you sold it with something else at the same time and asked less than the current market price it might go? :). Hope that helps.
The Simple Chic Life thank you for your response. I bought it on Amazon.ca for $40 including shipping. So, I’m guessing I won’t get that back. I tried to find it in Walmart, Shoppers, but could not find it anywhere in store in BC!
Oh shoot. Well, keep trying! Eventually everything sells that’s what I’ve learned over the years! With fragrance, furniture etc lol:)

The new reformulation of Hypnotic Poison doesn’t last, that one you have last but the new ones don’t! How much i loved the old Hypnotic Poison, Dior killed this one. 😭
I'm the same way I don't want fragrances in my collection that I don't love or that I don't use, I always say I'm Not a fragrance collector I am afraid line lover.... so everything in my collection has to be used or it can't be in my collection. I typically don't buy fragrances that I don't love 😍 great video.
Thanks Cheraye. I need to do that with my Chanels; I don't wear a couple of them very often - but I think I will at some point. Whats your opinion on the No 5? For me I love to have it just to have it - I feel it's so iconic, and I enjoy just sniffing it sometimes or wearing it to bed if I'm in the mood. BTW I love your collection - if I could have one girls collection - itd be yours lol :):):):)

Its good but I just don't use powders really at all - I have only tried it once. :). My kitty's name is Pyongchang - I didn't name her lol. it was sort of an inside joke because when the Olympics were in Peyongchang my daughter at the time could not pronounce it and someone joked maybe we should call the cat that - and it just stuck lol. First because it made us giggle and now it's just her name lol:)
