I have those. I've never bought DeWalt batteries, unless they come with the tool, always knock off. I wouldn't call myself a heavy user by any stretch, but haven't had any issues. The 4 amps are way better than the two amp name brand, and usually cheaper.

Thanks for the review. I'm invested in Dewalt cordless. Lately I have been buying a clone battery brand name Waitley. They are 6.0 AH. Last time I got a pair for just North of fifty bucks. So far they have performed well. I also own the Dewalt cordless circular saw. I always use at least a 5.0 AH battery. Anything less just does not seem to provide the power the saw needs. Later

I am a Ridgid owner all tools and batteries. They are about 5 years old now. They come with lifetime warranty on tool and battery replacement as long as you register them. Have not had to use replacement as of yet.

Batteries are the Achilles tendon of all equipment. It would be nice the batteries in some brands didn't cost an arm and a leg. Also a universal battery would be nice for industry standard.

lol ;;;apples to apples oranges to oranges;;;;;I have ryobi tools from when they were blue colored that still work with the old batteries that were provided;;;a little slow but they still work; and still use;;;also got the 5 1/ i2 '' and the 6 1/2'' ;;;;the 5 er well it still works but no power and won't cut all the way through a 2x;;;now the 6 1/2'' woks just fine;;;;have had it for 15ish years and help build 2 houses with it;;;along with the drills etc;;;I found that the secret to using the ryobi was not to try to force it through the boards;;;a second or two to cut through more didn't make any difference dto me;;;but I kept up with a quality dewalt;;;I didn't have the battery hours that the dewalt had but would cut true til stopped and said charge me;;;lol;;;that happened a bit quicker than the dewalt;;;I also found tht if I didn't force the saw it would actually cut faster than if forcing through ;;;also much cleaner cuts and less splintering;;;;true it may not be the best but I've been using it for a long time;;;and still have some of the original batteries that came with the saw on the other hand the newer batteries I have found do not last like the older ones do;;;the big box boys agreed when I took them in to be replaced;;;;the replacement policy went south also;;;lol;;;anyway when get back in our house when completed will have to give these a try;;;I have sent back some batteries that fit tthe ryobi and the dewalt that didn't last the 30 days amazon gave to replace or money back if no good;;;;ok fixin to be a book and I'm out of cover material so I quit;;;a big thumbs up ;;;enjoyed;;;and keep em comin

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've found that different brands have different pros and cons and I appreciate you pointing some of them out!
BTW… I still have several blue Ryobi tools. But the blue batts crapped out years ago.

haters will hate this but after years of dewalt i switched to kobalt. tools for me have been on par and the batteries are far cheaper. plus no one wants to steal kobalt LOL

I don’t think I’ve ever had any Kobalt. Good to know that they’ve done well for you.

Yep TP, looks like it’s 👍for the Vanon batteries & 👎for the Dewalt batteries. Every demonstration you performed, the fully charged Dewalt battery seemed lower than snake belly 🤷‍♂️

The DeWalt was a smaller battery, but still… Just does not have any power

Just looked at their website. No address. Not even a phone number.
And you are suggesting your subscribers hand them their credit card number ?
You are incredibly irresponsible my friend. No way.
