Leigh, so glad to hear it is not your hernia or appendix and that you both have stayed safe through this pandemic. I continue to watch, love, and enjoy your videos❤. I was wondering if keeping your spicey mayo and a few of your other condiments in the cupboard versus the fridge may be causing a bit of food poisoning? I know regular yellow mustard and ketchup are ok to keep in cupboard once opened but all others normally require refrigeration. Not critiquing in anyway! Just want to be sure you stay healthy and keep us happily entertained 🥰

Great news guys I have recently bought my son a table top dishwasher for university. It's a cookology one only £189 but £200 if you want the silver one like I got it's amazing and you can either plumb it in or connect to kitchen tap with hose pipe adapter it's amazing better than my big one and so powerful also handy as you could even take it on holiday lol looks good too. No more lockdown washing up 😁🍾 much love x

OMG Nick read out my comment. My family thought something happened to me as I was screaming. 😆🥰 glad to see Leigh had a huge weight lifted of his shoulders by going to the GP.
I always wait until I have watched the entire video before I hit the like button, just make sure it counts. And I’ve been wearing a face mask when I go out in any kind of public place for about a month and a half. Just today I got a mask someone had made for me that you can put a filter in, and it looks really nice.
So very glad the doctor says you’re ok Leigh - I know what it’s like to worry non stop and not being able to help it.
hello how ya guys doing. I have started watching your videos mostly from the beginning I love the Christmas vlogs and the florida Disney vacation vlogs. I was soooo surprise when you read my comment on vlog. THAT was AWESOME. So, thank you for that. I hope you guys are safe and feeling well during this really hard time. florida has been rainy and hot out this week. my husband and I are original from NY and we moved to west palm right after 911 he was a NYC police officer he retired early and we know live in florida with a lot family. I do miss NY terribly though. Would love to visit England. Ireland has always been on our list since we first were married. hopefully one day after everything calms down. thank you again. look forward to your next vlog. be safe Angela

Hi guys, just wanted to give you a couple of suggestions re: getting your new apartment. Firstly, I know you’d make it look lovely but please make sure before you make too many plans that you can actually do what you’d want to to it. Check tenancy agreement/lease and specifically alteration & decoration clauses. You might have to redecorate again should you leave to the landlords spec or risk losing deposit - that’s if they allow you to make changes. Also I’d recommend a photographic schedule of condition. These can incur a charge but might safeguard you if there are any issues, especially if not visible when you last viewed the one you want, as currently occupied. Also check if there are any covenants specifying if carpet must be used as a flooring before you think of taking it up, as could be being used as a form of sound proofing for anyone below. Not dissing agents but they might not be aware of what the landlord would actually allow, so be warned. Also, if the one you want does need some TLC, you could use that to negotiate i.e. month rent free or something, if you’re willing to do the work but really the landlord should put things right before any schedule is done so that you’re all starting on a clean sheet. The usual wording is that the tenant should leave the property in no worse condition than when they entered, so if it’s a mess, you’d be doing the landlord a massive favour making it nice & leaving it that way. Hope that all makes sense?! I work in property, although commercial, so deal with leases for that. Residential might be slightly different but best to check. Good luck & hope I’m not teaching you how to suck eggs?!😬😂 X

Would it not be better and more profitable not to get an apartment and just holiday for the 5 weeks and if not just stay in a hotel because it seems a lot of money for it to sit empty for most of the year .🥰🥰🥰
As the lodge is a holiday home we cant have it as our permanent home. Laws in the UK mean you have to have a permanent residence away from the lodge

One tip please go for a flat where your on the top floor with no one above you as trust me 2 years in to our first ever home together we had a dickhead above us dead loud and annoying music TV everything till 12am onwards and we paid top wack for ours trust me it really grinds you down to the point where you end up nearly killing them also try get the biggest one for your budget might seem cosy but trust me you will want your own space now and agin.

@@TheLodgeGuys OK. That's interesting. Based on all the thing you said you would do should you have taken it, I assumed you were buying. Renters must have more scope in the UK to do things to the property. Here in Australia you can't paint, hang pictures on walls, change or replace anything without the landlords permission and that is rarely given.

I mean no offence when I say this but why would you give up that beautiful house for a tiny, dark apartment with no outdoor space and all those neighbours crammed in so close? It doesn’t seem worth it.
we would only stay there once or twice a month, so makes sense to get something small and. cheap as a base close to home and work (plus that apartment isn't the one we would be getting just same dimensions)
