I'm watching this as g.ps (doctors) aren't especially very good with treatment or diagnosis people I've had this pain in my arm for years and have never had a proper answer this seems to fit everything I was born reverse had injury to my ankle and face from forceps etc I then had a serious car accident as a teenager and various other accidents along the way I had a air line fracture to my ankle and other damge that I belive is the cuase of my planter and achilles issues again this wasn't confirmed from my doctor but as somone who's not active or in sports what else could it be other than what's mentioned above any way I belive my injuries could be leading to this issue I have numbness, pins and needles ,my hand will go cold and limp and weak and ill have shooting and electric type pain
Eccentric contraction and Isometric contraction are oxymoron names. It is impossible to contract and extend at the same time, in the same manner a muscle does not contract when it is static. change the terminology because what you explain is wrong.
I'm a Med Student at Physical Therapy and learned what he explained. Yes, a muscle do contract when you extended slowly and yes, a muscle contracts when you do isometric exercises (the lenght doesn't modify, but the tension in the muscle is huge).
Thank you so much
Tomorrow is my practical and it really hepled

@@stefi_ro93 Isometric means "the same metric", in thid case, the dame length. Nothing can contract and maintain the dame length. Sue your teachers.
