- A brilliant semi final so i thought i might upload it, and also there are no good quality highlight videos on youtube. I know it is quite long but keep in mind the match went to extra time so that lengthens it out.

I was there that night with my uncle. It was an amazing Collingwood win I'm so proud of.

Outside of the 2010 grand final replay, that has to be collingwood's greatest victory in decades.
Since then, Collingwood's destruction of the Tigers in 2018 Prelim has to be added to that list. But Beating West Coast in a Final away from home is very hard to do.

@@coolbananas412 Excuses. Richmond said they were fit. A full fit current Collingwood team will smash Richmond every time. Last year Round 2 proved it.
@@kylearmstrong7971 both fully fit sides produced a draw. Without 16 minute quarters, it would've been a Richmond win. I think the measuring stick is how we played against GWS tbh. You guys lost the prelim by 4 points to a GWS outfit that had a plethora of their stars out injured. Then they had most of those stars back for the Grand Final and we took the midgets to the cleaners

I was at this game with a staunch Collingwood supporter. I told him to get happy as he just beat West Coast at home. He said they had no chance the week after. He was right.
Eagles took 11 years to get their revenge but worth the wait

Wow, Eagles hit screwed by the umpires. As if that kick at the start of extra time was less than 15. Cost the Eagles a goal. And Buckley just getting the ball and stepping straight over the boundary line. No free kick.

+Alessandro Capotosti Nah, not in AFL. They have 5 minutes then swap ends, then another 5 minutes. Whoever is winning after that wins the match, though it's only happened twice before. This game, and one I think in 1994. They used to replay the match of it was a draw in any final.
the afl 2010 grand final saw a draw in the first game, in the replay the cats win the afl title. overtime games in afl are just rare.
