Hey thank you. Very helpful. Me and my son both build it. Very helpful. Spent good quality time on this project. Loads of fun. Thank you. P.s i broke my xmaxx lol😂
I appreciate this vid so much! I am going to Home Depot to get the materials n make one too. Hope it comes out that clean! Wish me luck! Is that 4x8 plywood really 1/2 inch? I saw you double stack it and it was still flush with the bottom piece that was 1/2 inch. I assume you meant 1/4 inch sanded plywood 4x8.
Great Video man!! I’m building my first ramp I’m also new to wood cutting I just got a jigsaw. Thank you for the tutorial!! Question about the front lip of the ramp, I see you added a 4ft long 1/2 inch piece of wood. How wide is that piece?
@@sixnine2818 so to get the curve I used 3/8 ply doubled and then for the lip it’s 12”x4’ 1/3 ply so when the skid plate hits it it wind ruin the ramp! HAPPY BUILDING
The 'half inch sanded plywood 4x8' that you mentioned in the beginning of the video, was that the doubled up ramp piece? Should that sheet be 1/4 inch? And if so is a separate 1/2 inch sheet needed for the front of the ramp?
A few of the pieces had a small gap because of the curve of the ramp, I just did that to fill in the gaps because a 25lb xmaxx going 40 mph would be jumping this , I didn’t want anything coming loose , but going forward the next few I built, I actually wound up gluing before I screwed together ! THANKS FOR WATCHING 😎
This is the best video I've seen on building a good ramp!! Thanks!

He replies in a different comment. The full sheet that he doubled up with was indeed 1/4”, not 1/2”.
^^*🫡
Interested to know why you put the glue on after you finied building and not during?

Hi there just wondering how wide is the sheet of ply and how thick is each sheet? Cheers
4 feet wide .. the lip is 1/2” ply
and the sheets that I doubled up were 1/4”
Hi man, I'm French and I would like to know the exact dimensions of your ramp please, thank you
stop drinking pastis and convert it yourself
🤟✌
sheetrock screws... really... come on man. Grins. construction screws hold up better and won't sheer or rust as easy. Peace out. nice build.
Still working great 2 years later 😉
all that and not even show 1 jump?!
